David and his crew just completed a remodel of the three bathrooms in my house. 10/10 recommend When selecting a contractor, I got a total of 5 quotes. I went with Alexander Remodeling and couldn't be happier with the end result. David was the first to respond to my quote inquiries and came for a walkthrough within a couple days. He is very straightforward and trustworthy; based on examples he showed from his own house and his recommendations on several aspects I was undecided on, I knew this project would be in good hands. The company is bonded, licensed, insured. David was very communicative through the whole project. His quote includes materials within a certain budget, and it was STILL the lowest of the 5 that I got. He also helps select the materials that are needed by providing links to a few options. His crew is super clean, professional, and has painstaking attention to detail. With several adults and a 1 year old at home, they were very conscious of notifying us about turning off the water and keeping it to a minimum. They keep the areas closed off for safety and minimizing the noise and dust. They put down cloths and paper to protect the floors and walkways from outside. At the end of the job they spent several days cleaning up everything and also the garage space where they kept the tools. They replaced everything except the floors, cabinets, and mirrors at my request. Everything was covered under the initial quote, including paint. David worked with us very generously on selections that we really wanted. Even with materials included, the waterproofing and shower materials were done with the best; they use Schluter everything. Since I work from home, the actual start date and duration were not that important to me. David's estimate was pretty spot on, it took a couple extra days but I did add on some work on our kitchen and had them come back to fix a couple things. This plus some recent kitchen appliance upgrades feels like living in a brand new house. All the showers are much more spacious, and the frameless doors look amazing. The grading on the shower pans means the water no longer pools and leaves rings I would have to scrub constantly. There are so many more little details I haven't mentioned, like the barely noticeable grading around the tub deck to help water flow back in, and how David added 2 extra can lights for free to make sure our master bath was perfectly lit. My wife and I had remodeled the downstairs of our home about 10 years ago and had been wanting to remodel our 2 upstairs bathrooms for a few years now, and finally decided to pull the trigger. My wife had very specific ideas about what she wanted, and I was concerned that we would not be able to make it work within our budget. We requested quotes from 3 different contractors, including Alexander Remodeling, which we found here on Yelp. David Alexander came out and walked through the project with us. He listened carefully to our requests and vision for the finished result, and he offered a few additional ideas of his own that we both liked as well. He provided a quote within just a few days, and even though it wasn't the lowest bid, we decided to go with David because we both felt that we could trust him to do what we wanted and to do it right. We had to wait for a few weeks to get started because he was already booked, but that worked for us because my wife had ordered the vanities, toilets, and plumbing fixtures, and we needed to wait for these to arrive before starting the project. It all worked out very well, because everything arrived and he was able to start on the date promised. The project was scheduled to take about 4 weeks, and it ended up taking a few days longer, but we did have him do some extra painting and make modifications to my wife's closet that turned out very nice. During the project, we even asked David to tile a larger section of the floor in the master bath area than what was originally planned, and he did it at no extra labor charge to us. After the project was complete, I had to ask him to come back and fix a couple of issues we identified, which he did in a very timely manner, even though he was already working on other jobs. My wife and I want to compliment David, Diego, Ceasar, and Jacob on the work they did in our home. Even though we have been in this house for 23 years now, it almost feels like living in a new home. I had the pleasure of working primarily with David & Brandon through a 2 bathroom and laundry closet remodel. The end result was nothing less than stunning. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Their process was straightforward. They stopped by for an onsite consultation where I explained the vision and within a few days they were able to turnaround a quote. They provided a "budget sheet" where I could specify the exact part numbers I desired or simply specify a material/finish and they would source the component. If I specified anything over the budgeted amount, I'd be responsible for the difference. It was flexible depending on how engaged you would like to be. Bids for this project ranged from $20-48k. They weren't the lowest, but also weren't the highest. Some quoted up to 10 weeks to complete. David and Brandon finished in roughly 4 weeks. This team was incredibly professional & trustworthy. For the first two weeks, the property was vacant. I gave them their own code and allowed them to come and go as they please. The second two weeks, we had moved in and I was partially working from home - minimal disruption. They always laid tarp down and cleaned at the end of the day. They treated my home better than I do. I am so happy with my new countertops and backsplash! I called several places before picking Alexander Remodeling. I was looking for a company who gave clear and honest pricing over the phone. I picked them because they were so kind and helpful over the phone, their pricing is fair and very straight forward and upfront. I had bad experiences with other contractors in the past who don't give proper estimates and then try to raise the price mid job. I only found one other company that bid the job cheaper but that company had bad reviews. the other companies were overpriced or rude and impersonal and "sales pitchy" over the phone. so picking Alexander Remodeling was an easy choice. Their craftsmanship is beautiful, they take pride in their work and they also gave me some design advice for free which I really appreciated and needed. They get great prices on their slabs of quartz so that alone saves so much money. I'm just so happy and the crew are very nice and respectful who I felt safe having in my home. We had the pleasure of working with David and Brandon for a series of projects at a home in Riverside. They were amazing in both the quality of their work and especially their service. The communication we experienced with this team never disappointed us. They were very clear and professional in the way they presented their plans on tackling our concerns with the projects (we received CAD plans and itemized invoices). Recently hired these guys for some extensive remodeling(moving gas and water lines, knocking down walls, widening a door, etc). Upon meeting them it is VERY apparent they know their stuff and are great at it. They are very friendly, punctual, and the epitome of professionalism. They over communicate and always make sure you know exactly what is going on. We are very happy with their work and will definitely be recommending them to anyone we know looking to get work done on their houses. I know what you're thinking, if the work is that great, what did you have to sell to afford them? I cannot say enough how fair their rates were; we had much less credible workers who we had no faith in quoting much higher prices.
