Milato did a fantastic job. Jay Maroun is professional, responsive, and cares deeply about doing a good job. It was an urgent project: water heater broke, even created some water damage to the pedestal on which the heater was standing. Jay came by in the morning, quoted us by mid-day, and STARTED the project that SAME day. He was personally there with his workers for a couple hours. They got rid of all the damaged dry wall and wood, dried it with industrial grade blowers, then rebuilt the pedestal and installed a new water heater. I have never met a Contractor so patient, knowledgeable and honest. Jay explained to me step by step of what to expect. He also ran every detail by me from the color grout in the floor to the layout of the tile. He provided his professional expertise and my kitchen turned out beautiful. Jay went above and beyond the requested job and he did everything he promised. For example, we went out personally to choose back splash and tile. Problem: Our neighbor had a water leak in his kitchen. Since we both share common drywall, we had to remove and replace not only the walls but also the flooring and cabinets. Jay's service: We went with Milato Construction only because of his service he did in the beginning of the process, where he himself got involved and did the work, even though he is the owner. My family and I really liked his hands own work and his honesty. As the process started, there were few problems that occurred with the workers. There was lots of communication problem but once we requested to have other workers (Aaron & Luis), we absolutely loved their work. Before doing anything, they would always ask us if we are okay with it, which is what we were looking for. The communication between them and us were not only good but the communication and bond they share between each other was pleasant and wonderful to see. We absolutely LOVE the outlook of our new kitchen. We liked their service so much that we also decided to get flooring done to 1 of my rooms and they did an AMAZING job. Jay in person: Jay is a very nice guy. We liked his honesty and his suggestions. Jay is very interactive with his clients and will go out of his way to make his customers happy. We had a roof leak due to the recent crazy wind and rain storms in California. I was in a panic and was getting zero help so I started to call around and I finally got Jays receptionist on the phone, she calmed me down and walked me thru the entire process like my adjuster should have but didn't. When Jay came out to do my estimate and walk thru he was very patient and walked me thru everything explaining every little detail. UPDATE on MILATO CONSTRUCTION from 10/16/2018 Today Saturday 10/27/2018 Luis and Aaron came and finished our Job The Quality of there Craftsmanship was outstanding. I never saw people so dedicated to quality and Customer service. The only thing left was a final payment of $700 for the Tile installation. "Well at least that's what I thought." Luis came into the house with a completion form to be filled out and stated he was to Pick up a check for $1759.11. Big difference from the $ 700.00 I agreed to. We suffered a under slab water leak that flooded our downstairs bathroom and hallway. We had Milato Construction show up and they found the problem which required opening up some walls and removing some of our wooded floors to repair the problem. George the Project Manager and his crew did a fantastic job coming into our home and putting everything back together. Repaired the walls, wooded flooring and painted what was needed. We are so incredibly pleased on how everything looks. Their office manager Katherine kept us fully informed on all the steps which made us feel very at ease. This is the second time I've done business with these companies and I am so grateful. They are professional, HONEST, knowledgeable, prompt, and kind. Last year's water heater leak caused a huge amount of damage inside my home. They worked with my home owner's insurance and my home warranty companies to provide the best quality service at the lowest price. They did quality work and it all still works and looks great. This time around I was even more impressed. When I called for the appointment a year later the nice office manager remembered me and was able to schedule a next day appointment. John and Jay came out to do an insurance assessment on a huge water leak outside on my property. I had already called the insurance company and filed a claim. John and Jay came out to take a look at everything, made a few adjustments to my sprinkler system, fixed the problem and told me there was no need to file a claim and no need to spend all that money on a deductible. The claim was already filed there was a huge opportunity there for them to make a lot of money. They could have said anything and made a huge claim with unnecessary repairs but they didn't. They were kind and honest. I have been really worried about how I was going to pay for all these repairs I have been praying about it that morning.
