Because it was raining heavily he made it a point (no pun intended) to come on one of the days that it stopped raining in order that we wouldn't have more inside damage to the home. We initially called them out to repair a roof leak after discovering a few broken roof tiles around and below our solar panels. Based on the visible damage, it appeared that area was the source of the leak. After the repairs were completed, we experienced another significant rainstorm and unfortunately discovered the leak was still present. When I contacted Heritage Roofing Solutions, Johnny immediately stood behind his work. Once I had the solar panels removed to allow full access to the roof, Johnny returned and thoroughly inspected the area. He showed up exactly on time, explained their whole process to make sure I understood the scope of what needed to be done, and made sure to answer all of my questions, including some I thought of after he left. Their quote was on the lower end of the spectrum, but with an excellent warranty and references. We did end up with a $6k change-order for additional [hidden] damage that was not easily detectible during the initial inspection, but it was not surprising, as the roof had not been replace in well over 20 years and there were noticeable soft spots when walking on the roof due to rotten plywood under the shingles. Even with the change-order, the total cost was extremely reasonable, and came in under my projected budget. The work crew arrived promptly on day one and introduced themselves and apologized that it was going to be noisy/messy for the next few days. Every day, they cleaned up the trash very thoroughly and magnet rolled to make sure nothing was left behind. This was a big concern for me as I have two dogs that I don't want stepping on or eating debris. I was originally quoted 5-7 days for the entire project, and they finished in 4. The roof looks amazing. I would definitely recommend them, and if we decide to add solar in the future, we will go straight to them because the company has been phenomenal to work with.
