I called Rafael and he came out and him and his guys came out and repaired my roof they replaced my damaged wood and resealed all of my cracked cement caps and pipes and replaced the tar paper under my tiles where the wood was bad and they worked so professionally together and did an amazing job and replaced 12 tiles too! TLDR: After closely inspecting the work done, I found that a part of the roof, which was supposed to be worked on as per the contract, was not done. The company promised to come and fix it, but as of July 20, I haven't heard from them yet. We had a few leaks, and instead of just fixing those, we decided to lift and relay part of our roof covering the leaking area since it's 30 years old. The initial experience with the company was good and went smoothly. However, a few days after the job was completed on October 30, I closely examined their work and noticed that one area they were supposed to work on was not done. I sent them a quick message, and they responded, saying it was a mistake on the contract but they would take care of it. The contract clearly showed the area of the roof to be worked on, with a total square footage that matched the quotes from several other companies. They even provided a top-view satellite image outlining the part of the roof to be worked on, so there wasn't anything that would make me think there was a mistake. When I messaged them about the issue, they said they would contact me when ready to do the job. I followed up again on January 31, and they said they were busy and had me on for May. In February, during heavy rains, I reached out again because water stains on the ceiling were right under a valley pan, making it difficult to determine the leak's exact source. Most roofers who provided quotes suggested working on both sides of the valleys to be safe (as More Roofing has quoted). The company, however, said there was nothing they could do. We ended up putting a tarp over the area to prevent new damage since we had just painted the ceiling. May and June passed, and as of July 20, I still haven't heard from them. There seems to be no after-service. As a paying customer, resolving my issue should be their top priority, and it shouldn't take this long. They offered a 10-year warranty, but I'm not holding my breath. I've hired another roofer to get the job done as the rainy season is approaching in a few months. I'm very disappointed with their lack of follow-through and customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.. read more

What impressed me with this company was that: 1. They arrived at the time they gave for both the estimate and repair. 2. They cleaned up the job site when finished. 3. Sent pictures with invoice of damaged roof and leak area before and after work. 4. Invoice was for the agreed on price. It's nice to deal with a reputable company that makes you feel you got a good quality repair at a fair price. We chose them over a couple of other companies based on their reasonable bid and our overall good first impression of them - they described exactly what the problem was, showed us pictures of the issue, and explained what they would need to do. They let me know up front that there was a possibility that they would encounter a bigger problem once they started the repair, and that if this was the case, it would change the cost of the repair. They arrived at the scheduled time and completed the job without any issues. They informed me that luckily, there was no bigger issue and therefore the cost would not change. I want to give a big THANK YOU to More Roofing for the quality work done to repair the leak in my roof. I had a challenging time trying to consider which contractor to choose in repairing my roof. I have quotes ranging from 1k to 40k. I won't bother everyone with the company that was going to try to rip me off. Always get multiple offers before decision making for your specific situation. Yami was always professional and really cared about getting you an appointment at close to your needed timeframe. More roofing wasn't the most expensive but actually came in at a more valued and reasonable price quote. I did compare More Roofing with one other local contractor and they where neck in neck regarding work needing to be done, except for the length of time to fix my roof, I had to text the other contractor instead of calling an office and price. The other contractor said it would take 1-2 weeks to repair, More Roofing took one afternoon and they wanted $600 more than More Roofing. I would have waited a year just to have More Roofing repair my roof, instead of having the other contractor come in and may try to take advantage of the situation. Luckily I will never get to explore that decision. It was very important to say out of all 4 roofing companies I got an estimate for, More Roofing warranties there work the longest. I read all the reviews posted and I have to say that played 50% part in my decision. Rafael was honest to tell me he can keep patching but eventually, I will need to replace my 50 yr old roof but there was no pressure to replace although when we do, I will be calling him! Yani, his wife answers all calls, she is super cool and easy to talk to. She scheduled Rafael to come out like that day or the next for him to take a look. Rafael inspects the issue, and shows photographs of the issue so the average person who knows NOTHING about roofing can understand and see with their own eyes the problem up there.
