Called Weathertight for an estimate. They took photos and their estimate to replace the patio roof was $4,900. Contacted another roofer and they said the whole roof needed to be replaced for $13,500. That price fid NOT include the patio roof! Amazing! Weathertight left the property clean and finished in a timely manner. I've used them to replace one roof and repair others. The entire Weathertight Roofing company did an outstanding job from initial estimate to completion of the work. Our schedule was a bit crazy, but they did an excellent job of working with us and finished the job per final the estimated time. The work was top-notch from removal, reinstallation and then using a magnet to collect roofing nails that might have fallen on the ground. Finally, we've had a few qestions since the job was completed, and these were answered in a day. Weathertight replaced the roof on our rental house, did roof repairs on the house we once lived in in west Hemet, and came last Thursday to work on the roof of our new house in east Hemet, squeezing us in before the rain started in the evening. Jake knew McMoran homes well and recommended only what was needed. While doing the repairs, Paul discovered that a nail had come loose and patched it. He came back later that day when he had time and did a more complete repair over the nail hole. Our son in Idyllwild had his roof replaced by Weathertight. I needed a new roof on my manufactured home on a 17 year old roof. The original roof started leaking after a big storm. I live in a high-wind area of the desert where it also rains a lot. So my roof takes a BEATING! My homeowners insurance partially paid for the new roof job. I put out the feelers on Facebook and a local gave me the name of WEATHERTIGHT! I also called 3 others. Those were a joke! Weathertight was the most professional, they did a full estimate, gave me a reasonable timeframe and boy did Timothy know what he was talking about! The staff at Weathertight Roofing were top notch, from Susan at the front desk, Tim in scheduling, to the team that fixed my roof. Juan and Jake gave me a fair quote on two different jobs on my roof. The first job, I noticed a damp spot on ceiling, Juan came out the same day I called, he made his thorough assesment and quoted me. A couple of days later, he was out to fix my leak, the team provided pictures of before and after of the job. We received four quotes to replace my mothers roof on her mobile home that is 1000 ft.² in total. Weathertight Roofing was three times more than all of the other companies. Not only were they an hour late for the appointment but the guy who was sent to provide us a quote only provided us with a verbal estimate of $14,000 - $17,000 replacement cost. I was so upset that I told him to leave my moms house and not bothered to write up the quote. This is highway robbery !!! I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Would definitely not recommend this company. Totally did me wrong. Started when they took my roof off, and then realized they didn't have the material to put one back on! ? Was 2weeks without a roof, which of course after the first week caused damage to my interior walls, that's when they decided maybe they should put a tarp up. (?) And when they did finally get around to putting my roof on, guess maybe they were in a hurry cuz the trim looks like it was done by a 5 year old! Absolutely horrible, wish I could include pictures. If it wasn't for COVID19, I would've taken them to court, just don't feel like fighting with them for years. Tried talking to the owner, but that was a joke. Just gonna take the loss, chalk it up to lesson learned, and hire a real roofing company. weathertight came out to repair a leak...I paid $550.00. Next rain a few days later. Leaked again from very same spot....came out to fix it left saying it was fixed ..3 days later I came home to my chair and cushions and carpet soaked from very same spot on the ceiling..water pouring out on to my furniture after 2 trips out and$550.00 later. This company is very unprofessional wud not refund my money...I called about the leak when I discovered it.. they were closed Friday never returned my message...I went into office on Monday showed them my pictures told them about the mess... only to get a call next day saying. No refund.. being that the rain was pouring through the same spon in my celing that they said they had fixed.. I had to put a trash can underneath to catch the water all weekend long.. on Saturday.. being that I never heard back from Weathertight I called another person who came highly recommended from my neighbors he was kind enough to come on Sat. ​GO up on my roof check everything out and tell me that weather tight did not complete the area that was leaking and did a very poor job he was nice enough to put a big tarp up on my roof... Needless to say I hired him to fix the leak and he did a great job. I feel that I had $550 stolen from me I wouldn't trust this company to do a satisfactory job again....I have used this company for other jobs over the years did good work...until now. Very disappointed to say the least. I got a message left on my voicemail telling me that they would come out and fix it after 5 days of rain. No thanks..I don't trust them to do it right after two failures... isn't the definition of insanity.. doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? I hired this company based on competitive bids received and their better business rating.. the job workers started with 3 than down to 2( a lead n an apprentice). The job took a week and it took a week or more for the owner to come by and look at the really poor workmanship... Nails hammered and showing underneath like shiny pointers 75% under the eaves....I was pizzed..Many boards were not replaced and should have been due to termite damage and wood rot...none of the replacement boards were primed when installed...they had to be primed by homeowner.. the city inspector didn't come out until month n a half later...Tim, nor the owner apologized for their poor workmanship. One of the workers confirmed with homeowner that the work was poorly done and he was even sorry had bad it was . I do not recommend this company. In hindsight...I would have probably had better roof replacement n workmanship had I gone to the other bidder... read more

I found Weather Tight Roofing Company and called for a free estimate. I cringed thinking the cost would be in the thousands. They sent a man who examined our roof and pointed out the problem. Our solar company removed 4 panels and the Weather Tight Roofer was right there at 7 am and was up on the ladder as soon as the solar men came down. The roof is fixed for under a thousand dollars, he was professional, efficient, and cleaned up any mess made. He also explained the problem we had and how he fixes it. One employee Tall slim/maybe caucasian beard at a Hemet CA gas station about 3:50pm to 4:17pm today 9/20/2018 was a very unprofessional after waiting behind him to pump gas for about 5 min, he walks and tells me "I'm waiting for a coworker to pump gas"hogged the pump for about 25 min waiting for another company employee to pump gas, he was playing on his phone or talking on his phone while he was just standing not pumping gas.I had a Hot car didn't want to be moving so decided to just reverse to the pump behind him.He saw me get my cell out to take a photo and kept on just standing waiting for the co-worker.Later a (Gold SUV Sequoia licence 4PGP126) with maybe/ hispanic lady driving came and they pump gas and continue to just stand around with the intention of not moving. The gas station was full of cars trying to pump gas. (License of white work van/ Irvine Tuttle click black frame/ number 64485E2) To Guys S. Well have to say I can't say. I set up to have them give me an estimate, they called me to verify that I still wanted them to come out at the scheduled time which I confirmed, yes. I think they did come out and measure and what not for the qoute but I never heard back from them. When I set up the appointment I told him I had experienced this exact circumstance and he said yes roofers are wierd but I wouldnt have to worry about that with him??? Huh wierd right? Oh well hope business is good. Update, after learning that I had not recieved a bid I was contacted and the bid was forwarded to me with the understanding that because of the time lapse the price would most likely be higher now. It took me 3 calls to finally got an appointment for the company to assess roof leaks problem. Two weeks ago, Jake came by, and after his assessment stated that he would send me the estimate that afternoon. But got nothing. Last week, their answering service states that the company has suffered from fire loss, and that they should be up and ready by Feb 2nd. I have left 2 or 3 messages to contact me, with no results. I understand how busy this company recently due to many roof leaks, but be honest. I would have appreciated more had they tell me they wouldn't accommodate me, rather than leave me hanging. Got bids from a lot of other roofers but Guy was the only one to walk around and actually showed me a construction flaw and the reason all these years I was never able to patch this one area and stop this particular leak. Didn't tell me about additional charges until after they were done, not giving me the opportunity to approve of additional labor or parts. Instead ended costing me over double what i expected for 4 pieces of plywood and labor. On top of that these "experts" that think they are worth that much also managed to unplug the AC unit from inside the unit. They did ok on the house and garage. It was when they replaced the tiles on the breezeway between the house and garage that it went badly. They used nails that were too long and the nails punctured the underside of the plywood sheathing. The workers didn't even realize it until I showed them what they did. They banged the nails out and were suppose to patch and prime the nail holes. Very bad job of doing that. I will have to patch, sand, prime and use my paint to fix this. Also, they installed the roof between rain storms and either the roof sheathing over the breezeway was exposed to the rain or my roof has a leak because a small area of the sheathing is very visibly warped. I called the company and they sent a fella out to look at it. He asked me if the roof was warped before they worked on it. Of course it wasn't. He got up on the roof and put his foot on the high spot and the plywood flattened right out. It was sopping wet. He took a picture of the damage and said he could replace the warped area with a replacement piece of plywood sheathing. That was 10 days ago and I haven't heard from them. Don't think I ever will. Too bad I paid my bill so promptly! Well, that's all for now. I have about 300 nail holes to repair so I better get to it. Update. Guy came out to the house to see what my concern was regarding the warped plywood and nail holes. Although he did not believe the warped plywood was caused from his crew not properly covering the roof with their tarps during the rain we had he did agree to replace the warped section and also have the breezeway repainted. I do appreciate his concern to make sure I was satisfied with the finished roof replacement. Three stars now! read more
