I had Armour do a tile relay on my roof, and overall, it was a great experience. I had multiple quotes from other companies previously, so when I reached out to Armour, I had an idea of what I was looking at. Freddie contacted me back almost immediately. He came out the same day to do an assessment. Afterwards, he gave me an honest assessment and said the roof would probably last another 5 or 6 years before I would start having issues. He showed pictures of the more warn spots also. I was replacing my solar pool heaters, so I elected to go ahead and do it now rather than wait for issues. He also repaired a tile that was hanging over or garage door that was ready to fall off, free of charge. I received the quote the next day. The price was in line with the other quotes I had received, but the difference was in the details. Where other companies just quoted tile relay and a price, freddie broke down exactly what was included, and the services provided in that list seemed above and beyond what I expected. I was impressed by the quote and options he provided, of which there were 4. He got me on the schedule in about a week and a half, but unfortunately our city was running behind on permits, so that caused a small delay. But a soon as the permits were in hand, Freddie's crew got to work. It's a big roof, so it took nearly 2 weeks to complete, but these guys were here at 7 am and didn't leave until 6 most days. They even worked Saturday. Hard working crew, for sure. Every couple days, freddie would come talk to me and update me on exactly where they were in the process. Any decision on materials, he would show me images of the products and tell me if it's just esthetics, and help me decide which way to go. He would send tons of pictures every few days, so I could see the quality of work they did. After it was finished, the roof looks great, and I anticipate it will still be holding up long after I am gone. Now all of that was great, but it was the extras that really made Armour shine. First off, freddie asked me about an attic fan, and if i wanted to add that for a small cost. The cost was very low, so I pulled the trigger. At the end of the job, freddie told me not to worry about the fan, and didn't charge me for it. It was a quiet cool fan, and a new product that was just released. Since I've plugged it in, my electricity bill in the summer has dropped by about 20%. I can't say for sure it's just the fan alone, but I'm tickled pink. Second, at the end, freddie informed me that the original builder didn't use enough tiles to be to code, so they ended up having to add something crazy like 600 concrete tiles to my roof. No additional charge for this either! And since the tiles are new and slightly different color, he had his crew install all the new tiles in the back corner, under where the solar heaters were going, so they wouldn't stand out. Attention to detail. Third, after the pool company came to install the heaters, freddie came out to inspect the roof the next day. He found 2 tiles that they had cracked, so he repaired them the same day at no charge. Freddie is awesome, and his crew is probably the hardest working crew I've had at my house. It's refreshing to work with such professionals, and feel like you can trust the people you are working with. Thank you freddie and crew! I reached out to a couple of companies to see about a tile that had fallen off my roof and wanted to have it repaired and a check to make sure there wasn't any other damage. Freddy got back to me within an hour and told me he could come out the same day. When he got there, they got up on the roof and took a look around. The tile came loose from a branch that was bumping it and they were able to quickly fix the tile & trim the branch. While they were on the roof they did a quick look around and also re-sealed a couple of seals around my vents to make sure there wasn't any leaking. This was a very quick visit and they let me know there was a small crack that they also fixed since they were already on the roof. Our roof leaked, not a lot, but whenever it rained, our range hood dripped onto our stove. I selected Armour Roofing because the overall majority of their reviews were 5-stars. And I get it...this is a 5-star review too. This is a long post, but I thought I'd recount how Armour Roofing handled the whole project. I filled out the online form at their website and requested a free quote. The owner, Freddie, called the same day and set up an appointment to inspect my leaky roof. Not only was Freddie on time, but he sent a heads-up text of his arrival time. At our house, he climbed on the roof and took about two-dozen photos. He inspected the kitchen interior where the leak dripped on the stove. One of his tools was a probe sensor that detected moisture in the walls. That information allowed him to better determine the location of the leak. He pointed out faint water marks on our ceiling that we hadn't noticed. It was Freddie's opinion that we did not need a new roof. He showed us photos of our roof on his huge iPad tablet. He zoomed in on hairline micro cracks and explained how he could coat the entire area with a commercial-grade silicone sealant. To complicate the matter, he had to work around the solar panels and support posts that may have also caused the leak. He drew digital lines on the photo, measured the area, gave us a quote right there, and assured us that it came with a complete satisfaction guarantee. In my opinion, his quote was extremely fair and affordable. We accepted his offer and work was scheduled to begin in two days. Again, we were given a heads-up text of their arrival. A two-man team showed up on time, and worked all day. They arrived the second day, did the same thing, and finished the job as scheduled. They cleaned up their work area and left. The next day, Freddie called and set up a time to inspect the job. He climbed on the roof, took a dozen photos, and showed us the before-and-after photos. We paid him and considered the job over. That weekend, it rained...all day. And we noticed a few drips from our range hood...just a few. Nowhere near the original leak. I called Freddie. He assured me he would return the day after the rain ended. Two days later, I received the heads up text, and Freddie inspected the roof. He asked for permission to remove a row of solar panels; we agreed. His team returned the next day, sealed the roof under the solar panels, and left. The next day, Freddie stopped by, inspected the repair, took photos of the revision, showed me the photos, and he made sure that our solar panels were still working. There was no additional charge for the expanded area that they coated with the silicone. It has rained a few times since this repair, and we are leak free. I whole heartedly recommend Armour Roofing. They did a fantastic job, everyone was punctual, Freddie kept us in the loop, and when it mattered, they stood behind their work, all at a very fair price. I requested an estimate from Armour Roofing for a leak repair. They showed up about 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. I had gone out to run a quick errand and was not home yet. They were kind enough to wait for me to get home, and were very understanding when I apologized for not being there when they arrived (although I did arrive on time for our original appointment time). They gave me their estimate which was reasonable and comparable to a couple others we got, they explained the issue and the process, and provided pictures of the area which needed repair.
