I wish I had before and after pictures to share, but I just wanted to give a shout out to EDWIN who did a great job cleaning our roof. He was very professional and respectful of our home and property. He put a lot of time and effort to get our roof in an outstanding clean condition. Not only did his work shine through, he had great work ethics. In general, once a certain time hit employees would usually leave. Not Edwin. He stayed well past the average work day and diligently worked. If you are looking for someone in the roof cleaning business, ask for Edwin. He's your man! read more

Rocket Roofing has terrible customer service, they are unreliable and do not honor their warranty on roof repairs. Do not recommend. We hired them to inspect our roof and to repair a single leak that we noticed was dripping in our attic after a couple of rainy days back in October 2025. They came out and replaced a few shingles and said they resealed around the flashings. Great. Plus, there's a 2 year warranty for any future leaks. Fantastic. Well, it doesn't rain in SoCal for 6 months, so there's no way to tell if the leak is fixed. No water test was done. Lo and behold, the next rain storm arrives in 2026, and I see water dripping in the same spot in our attic. There's no other water leaks anywhere else. Obviously, the area that was repaired did not fix the problem. Now this is where it goes from bad to worse. I call Rocket Roofing and they find the work order and warranty. A guy Luis answers the phone and says he will schedule me for an appointment and will contact me by end of the day. No call back. I call again the next day. Same thing. No answer. On the third day, he finally says a repairman will be out the next week on a Monday. Monday rolls around and what do you know, nobody shows up! Finally, I email on the company website to try to get an answer from somebody else. Alan, the owner, calls me and states a repairman named Luis will come by on a Thursday and he will reprimand his employees for giving me the runaround. Did it work? No. A repairman Luis says he will be there Tuesday for shingles repair after discussing with Alan. So, I wait around all day Tuesday and nobody shows up again! I called the repairman directly and do not get an answer. I email the boss and am simply ghosted. So, after 3 weeks of back and forth, I'm left with a lot of headache and frustration, but most importantly, not a single shingle or nail was installed on my roof. I have worked with many contractors and handymen over the years, and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. Rocket Roofing simply has bad business practices, poor customer service, false claims about work warranty, and they've wasted my time and taken my money. Do not use them. Rocket Roofing was a referral from a home inspector who completed the home inspection for the purchase of our home. We requested a roofing inspection to be done at the same time. Alan was very nice, professional, and very informative when it came to explaining the maintenance issues that he noticed and needed to be addressed on the roof. I was extremely happy with the inspection experience. Once escrow closed and we moved into the home, my husband and I decided to move forward with the roofing repairs. I left a message for Rocket Roofing and requested the repairs be completed that were noted on the report. Alan was prompt and got us on the schedule. Despite there being a slight miscommunication in-house which led to a reschedule for the repairs, Alan and Patrick made things right and got us back on the schedule. I've used Rocket Roofing for 2 different projects in the past few years. Alan is responsive, honest, and thorough. I don't feel like he is overselling his work and I always feel included in the process. This week, his technician Alex came out to fix a few issues with leak areas. My daughter's roof began leaking during the heavy rainfall. She was very concerned as they bought their home a little over a year ago. I was out of the state before Hurricane Hilary was even on the  radar.  When I learned it was heading toward San Diego, I panicked because there were a few potentially problematic places on the roof, and I had a new tenant moving in the day before the storm hit.  I got Alan Ibarra's (owner of Rocket Roofing)  name from a realtor friend of mine who uses his company regularly and swears by him. He was very busy but managed to squeeze it in to come by and check it out on the Saturday before the storm hit.  He did a fantastic job of fixing the few questionable places and sent great pictures to show me what he had done.  I'm no roofing expert but the repairs looked bulletproof, and I knew I could count on it not leaking anywhere. I am giving them no stars because it was absolutely terrible working with them. I am surprised because they were recommended by Elite Inspection group, so I thought they'd be good. But they were terrible. First, they came out and only completed half the job. They were going to leave and not say anything, but luckily my husband climbed onto the roof to check their work and saw it was not good. We called and told them they didn't do the job they promised. It took them two days to come back!! Then, after this latest rain we called them to schedule work because we had a leak. and once they heard we had a warranty on work THEY DID on the roof they ducked our calls! I called Rocket Roofing to get an estimate on a needed roofing repair. The earliest appointment for someone to come out was in about a week. A date and time was set up. On the day of the appointment the person from Rocket was a complete no show. We did not even get a curtesy call letting us know that he would be unable to make the appointment. The result was a blown morning waiting for this guy. A company that treats its customers this was does not deserve my or anyone else's business. read more

I had 2 previous roofers "fix" the leaky roof with no luck. I had a 3rd company come and look, and they quoted me $1,700, but then they went silent and wouldn't communicate with me? Finally, I called Rocket Roofing due to the good reviews. They scheduled an appointment the next day or so and arrived on time. The owner (I think) Alan, showed up and brought his ladder to inspect. He told me that the tile, flashing, and paper underneath were all in good shape and installed correctly (not what the other company told me). He went on my deck (where none of the other roofers bothered to go) and found a small gap between the deck and false wall that he said was quite possibly my problem. He told me to buy some caulk and showed me where to apply it. He didn't charge me anything, and it only took 10 minutes for him to locate the problem and 20 minutes for me to repair. The bottom line is that the roof didn't leak during the past 2 rains! Total cost to me was less than $10.00, THANK YOU, Rocket Roofing and Alan. (Go Eagles!). read more

I have a major leak coming from my chimney, which a previous roofing company failed to repair and also ripped me off. I explained all of this to Alan (who I thought was the owner), and how desperate I was to get it properly fixed, because the interior to my home was being ruined by water damage. He assured me that his workers would properly diagnose and repair everything. He came out to the job on the 2nd day as well and convinced me of this. Well, it rained the following day after their work and my living room was completely flooded!! I had to tear out all of my brand new flooring, the fireplace surround and drywall. When I told Alan about this he lagged in his reply and then claimed he was sick, and quit the job and left me totally hanging!! Zero accountability. Didn't even provide photos for anything they had done. Luckily I hadn't paid yet, but that's not the point. (I even had to tell him to stop emailing me invoices.) Apparently, finding competent and honest roofers is extremely difficult. Now I have thousands more in repairs and still have a very bad leak. It's really sad for me to have to write anything negative, but I'm trying to help others from losing so much time and money like I have. read more
