The most honest roofer period. Needed a roof repair done on two round skylights. Got bids from $2,000 to $4,500. Since I already had the two clear domes Randy said he could do both for $200. His son came out and did both skylights in less than an hour. I gave him a good tip for the good work. Randy and his wife are such good people and they treat you like family. I am a project manager and we had a homeowner needing a new roof. No big deal. Until I miss it on the contract and I am left scrambling to keep things on time and on budget. During the recent storms, I had water leaking down my water heater vent pipe. Randy was able to come out in between storms. I thought that there was a problem with the flashing. Randy noticed that the last storm had knocked the vent cap off the pipe. He could have gone up on the roof and made up some issue and charged me for it, but he was honest and gave me the cost up front. Three days later, he came back with the part and installed it. Excellent service. After getting several quotes for replacing our roof on our 14 x 30 Patio, I chose Randys Classic Roofing to do the job. They were fair and honest in getting the roof job completed. They installed the torch on modified Biteman system. This process gave me a better roof than other roofers that I had contacted. I wanted to use these process because it gave me a longer warranty than other roofers I had contacted and it looks great. I also had my roof extended on the patio by 24 inches. Great people. I contacted Suzie and set up an appointment for a roof inspection. I received a prompt inspection and bid on a roof tune up from Randy SR. A few weeks later, Randy JR and Mark came out to do the work: they replaced several tiles, and gave the roof a nice tune up with re-mudding the tile joints, and cleaning out the run off valleys. Price was very reasonable. They also left the premises clean, picking up all broken tiles, and thanked me for my business. Sadly, I didn't get the same service as most of these reviewers. I scheduled a morning appointment, and no one bothered to show up. Not even a phone call to explain or reschedule. I have to take time off work for appointments, so I expect people to be respectful of my time. I don't know whether it was due to miscommunication or just being unorganized, but in either case it is no way to treat a potential customer. I needed my patio roof replaced because it was old, peeling off, it had a damaged roof plank and most importantly, it wasn't waterproof anymore. I got 2 estimates, one from the big orange box store and 2nd from Randy's Classic Roofing. The box store wouldn't touch my job because it didn't meet their minimum job size. Well excuse me for my small patio. Randy SR, owner, came out quickly to estimate (fair price), then we scheduled the work, which was completed by Randy Jr (son), and an employee. They replaced the roof with quality materials & even sealed all my vent pipes that were cracked, and provided an inspection of my entire roof.Of course, only time will tell how long my roof lasts, but I'm satisfied. HUGE gratitude for these guys!!! SO hard to find a good roofer and these guys saved me. I had several spots leaking though to my ceiling near my fireplace (an issue I paid to have fixed before unsuccessfully) and called 4 roofers including Randy. 2 never called back and the other (not Randy) quoted $12,975 I asked why so much and how long the job would take? They said 10-12 days with multiple guys?? What??? I didn't believe them. And for how much?? Randy came out quickly and wrote up a quote of $2650 and also volunteered a 5 year warranty that was even transferrable to a new owner. No point for me to call anyone else. He put it in writing and within a week or so came (when he said he would) with his son and another worker. Randy said his son and himself had a total experience of over 50 years. I was comfortable becuase I knew they would be around if I ever saw the leaks again. The son did most of the job and another guy did some other repairs and even bought a gallon of exterior paint that matched the repairs on the house perfectly. They were clean, courteous and even took pictures that I asked for to see the work done. The cosmetic finishing was PERFECT. Totally fair and honest price for the work done. These guys actually "diagnosed" the leak, they knew the cause and were very confident it was fixed so for them a warranty was no problem. I believe that many other roofers don't care (or really want to know) where the leak is, they would rather say they will replace a big portion of the roof, hence the huge price. And guess what? Very few customers are going to go up on the roof to fully check anything out so they just go along. Get a REALLY GOOD roofer, get these guys! I just bought a house that the roof was repaired by Randy's there's holes 1 inch gaps in the flashing and the owner called them to have them repair it because it did not pass the home inspection and they told them it doesn't leak so we're not going to fix it what a good company.
