I met Dave 13 years ago while he was sub-contracting for another contractor that was doing my kitchen remodel. He was more experienced and easier to work with than the primary contractor and I soon started using him as my first selection. He was very helpful, had great suggestions, and worked in an efficient manner. Since then he has done several jobs for me and just finished a master bath remodel. The job was on time and turned out perfectly. He was good with our last minute changes and worked with our schedule well. I will be using him again on the remodel of our hallway bathroom in the next few months. I have no problem recommending Dave to my friends and colleagues and will continue to use him in the future. read more

Dave Songer Company gets the job done! He recently gutted and remodeled our craftsman master bathroom, and delivered an absolutely stunning spa like retreat. The project included installing a new walk-in shower, custom tile work, preservation of the vanity with medicine cabinet and all-new plumbing fixtures. His crew showed up on time, kept the workspace remarkably clean, and finished the project exactly on our agreed-upon timeline. If you are looking for a reliable, skilled, and honest contractor in the Riverside area, look no further. I've attached photos so you can see the incredible attention to detail! read more

Dave oversaw many needed services for our home over the past six weeks. We started out with dry wall after a slab leak. Then graduated into some handyman repairs. Continued to making our garage door operation like new again. Lastly, we had a new driveway installed. Dave is a good communicator, on time, dependable, and thorough individual. I highly recommend him and his employees. read more

David recently completed a project for us and we are very happy with the outcome. We tore down a balcony, removed a sliding door on the 2nd floor, put in a new window, stucco on the exterior and fresh drywall/paint on the inside. (We are painting the house so the stucco didn't have to be perfect but it's very close after it dried more it blended in even better.) David is responsive, his estimates are easy to read, he communicates clearly, always answers his phone/text, and I just felt so comfortable working with him and his crew. I look forward to working with him again on future projects!!! Thanks David!!! read more

David is the very best! Look no further ... David and Tony are tremendous. You have found the contractor you can trust to do a great job and not over charge you. I Yelped 5-star handyman and got 3 bids. David's bid was the best. As the owner, David is very hands-on, professional, and yet becomes your friend. We continued to add projects for them to do for 3-months. David always picked up or responded quickly. He made sure all the work done was topnotch. My sister hired David and his team too. Blessings to you and your family David, thank you for all the sincere care and follow through. Jody read more

I had a giant wall easel custom made and installed. My concern was the weight and added weight that would be on it. It was very important that it be properly secured to the wall. Jose and Tony installed the easel and reassured me that this would hold up and gave me confidence in the project. They were polite, professional and even though it was 100 degrees outside during the install they had a great attitude. Would totally hire them again for any projects. The consistent communication leading up to this project was amazing. David made it work for our schedule. read more

Once again, David Songer came out to our little house in Norco. This time he gave us a new kitchen! From the cabinets to the counters, from the planning out of each little thing to adding specifics, he outdid himself once again! This is the 4th or 5th time we've had him come out to do minor and major construction. I would never trust anyone else. His crew is clean, kind, happy and busy! We are thrilled with the work Dave does and we are expecting to call him and his crew out in the future. He has done our living room, our bathroom, our living spaces, ceilings in the bedrooms, light fixtures and now our kitchen. Thank you Dave for all your excellent, high quality workmanship. You are the BEST contractor anywhere! read more

David can do pretty much everything! Anytime I need something fixed or updated in the house, he is the first I call.

I had a bathroom ceiling that a plumber had to cut a hole to repair the pipe leak from above. Dave was friendly, honest, professional, and provided quick response with a detailed estimate and excellent service. Not only was the ceiling repair done quickly for a fair price, the texture and painting by Tony was better than the original work, so I even had the walls redone as well. Highly recommended! read more

Bathroom Remodel! David and his amazing crew recently remodeled my bathroom and extended the tile flooring into the large master bedroom and long hallway. The work on this project was completed in total excellence. The crew came everyday and there were no issues that they couldn't come because they were splitting time between other projects. David always called if there was any issues and never avoided the subject, or If there were any delays because of deliveries (we only had one small delay). David is a proper businessman and handles his customers with amazing customer service. His crew was well trained and did a fabulous job. His charges were better than other estimates and stayed within that budget. I'd would highly recommend David to anyone Bob K. read more

As a construction lawyer, I think I have pretty good insight into what makes an excellent contractor and Dave and his team are one of the best. What sets Dave and his team apart from other contractors, besides their responsiveness and attention to detail, is their reliability and communication. Dave anticipated my questions and gave me regular status updates. Their demolition of our existing kitchen was extremely neat. We barely had any dust in the house. Most significantly, we had considerable delays and issues getting our appliances (no fault of anyone but the supply chain). Appliances were either on back order for months or became discontinued during construction. Throughout it all, Dave's motto was "don't stress, we'll make it work". And it did all work out. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen and would recommend Dave and his team for any project, large or small. read more

David and his workers came and got the job done right! We had our master bathroom remodeled 4 years ago and there were so many things done wrong by another contractor. David arrived and gave us a great option to preserve as much that we could to save on costs. He demoed our shower area, retiled it and saved the glass. We now have a functioning shower that doesn't leak and actually drains thanks to David and his team. We also ended up redoing our kitchen counter tops and our bathroom counter tops with him as well and we are very pleased with the outcome. Our kitchen and bathrooms feel brand new! We even had a hiccup where there was a broken tile the plumber accidently broke and David's team came back right away and got it replaced. David pays close attention to detail and made sure the outcome is exactly what we wanted. We will be contacting him for our next project! read more

I highly recommend David. He is a true professional. His knowledge and experience across many trades is apparent. It's nice to have a single point of contact regardless of the issue or job. I have rental properties and he has helped me with paint, plumbing, electrical, countertops, and carpentry. He does quality work at a reasonable price. He is responsive, reliable, and trustworthy. I seriously cannot say enough great things about Dave. He is honest and funny and he does the BEST work. I am very picky and I am always impressed with Daves work. I am a hair salon owner and earlier in the year Dave completed a complete addition/renovation for me. He did the drywall/texture/paint/demo/framing and all after business hours. His job was done on time and he and his team left no mess behind. I didn't lose any business buy having to close the salon because the project went smoothly exactly as he said it would. Since this project Dave has been slowly but surely renovating my whole house. He's remodeled my bathroom including adding a shiplap wall, framing a window and installing a bath vanity. He's Demo'd patched and painted many rooms and he's fixed problems that other contractors have left behind. Most notably was this week though when my husband called him on a Friday night in a panic because we were having a fridge installed and the installers messed with our water line, caused a leak and left us with no running water. Dave came over immediately even though he was off and helped us fix the leak. I am SO grateful for Dave and I would highly recommend him. read more

Dave was prompt, personable and accommodating. He and his team were courteous and hard-working, and they kept our house clean during construction. They refurbished our entire kitchen ceiling from an old, out-dated fluorescent flop to an updated spectacular showpiece. They completed work including electrical, drywall, texture, decorative finish and paint. They were excellent problem solvers, flexible to our requests and great at making suggestions when needed. The David Songer Company exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely hire them for future projects. A HUGE THANK YOU to Dave and his team! read more

I needed someone to install a Fort Knox mailbox before the Christmas holiday. He answered my phone call right away and answered any questions that I had. He was able to make room in his schedule and install my mailbox within a week. He quoted me $150 for the install including mounting hardware. He beat every other quote I received hands down. It took 1 hour for him and his employee to take down the old mailbox and install the new one. Very satisfied with his work. I highly recommend him and his company. read more

I had a great experience with this company. David promptly returned my initial call, scheduled an appointment to provide a quote, arrived on time, and took the time to look over everything I wanted, offer suggestions, and answer questions. Quotes were very reasonable, and they began working when promised, and actually completed the job a little early. The crew that did the work were very professional and did a great job. As with any project, a couple things popped up after completion, and they promptly came out and took care of the issues. I am very happy with my replaced ceiling and new ceiling fan as well as the new bathroom tile and a multitude of other little projects they took care of. The results look great, and I have had no issues with any of the work they did. read more

David and his guys are awesome! He showed up on time to give me a quote which was very reasonable. He scheduled my job for the following week. Everyone showed up at 8am ready to work and boy did those guys work. (I had a quarter of my master bedroom ceiling and wall removed due to a roof leak.) David's guys did not stop, up and down the stairs they went, and were never wasting time. They took a quick lunch and got right back to working. They perfectly matched the drywall texture to the rest of the master bedroom. Including the different texture style on the ceiling. Most importantly to me is these guys were very clean while they worked. I have small children and cleanliness is a must. All together they replaced my ceiling drywall, wall drywall, around a window drywall, replaced the missing insulation, carpet padding, and base boards. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the efficiency that they operated at. Thank you again David! I'll definitely use your services again and recommend you to others ! read more

Had an issue with our over the range microwave installation and David came to the rescue. Instead of cutting the slab of granite that goes up the wall like we thought we had to do, David gave us an alternative (and much cheaper!) solution. He was in an out in a few hours on the same day we called him. He even repaired the vent in the cabinet above our microwave, which wasn't part of the deal. If you're looking for a handyman give David a call! We'll gladly be recommending him to our friends and family. read more

David is amazing!!! Don't let anyone tell you that a contractor can't fix and texture your walls without it looking like a patch job. He fixed our kitchen backsplash so nicely that we had him do our master bathroom. (We tore out a tub and are adding a free standing one). No one would ever know there were huge chunks of drywall missing. The texture job is spot on, matches the rest of the wall perfect. read more

I needed a few of my ceiling fans replaced, and install new ones. Dave came out for a quote and thought it was reasonable, so we scheduled a service day a week later. The job was done in a few hours. Then, needed decor lights and motion lights outside but, I couldn't go to shop for lights and supplies because I care for my elderly mom. Dave and his crew shopped for me, brought a few choices for me to choose from, so had the outside lights done as well-extremely happy with the selection and service. I also had two of my vanities replaced, tore down a wall in one of the bathrooms to make it wider, retile, new paint & new stucco. Dave's affordable, reliable, genuine and back up his work if not completely satisfied. Dave & crew, I can't thank you enough for all my projects, done expertly and professional. read more

Although my wife and I live out of state, he coordinated with us as well as my father-in-law very well. The crew arrived when expected, and the job done was as expected. No fuss, no mess. We've hired David Songer and his crew at least five times over the last two years and will hire them again. Their work for us has included drywall repairs, crown molding installation, shower door installation and ceramic tile installation. They are thoughtful about how to correctly perform the work, it is meticulously detailed where needed and they have always left the work area clean. All drywall seams were perfectly invisible and matching texture was applied so that the resulting area blends perfectly. David and his team replaced the tile around our fireplace with ceramic tiles that we purchased which had a random stone-like appearance. Careful thought was given to the selection and orientation of each tile, as well as location of the grout lines, to give the best visual impression. Lastly, David has always been reliable and we have always felt that his prices were fair for the work performed. Happy customers!! read more
