The BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and toast was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. The chicken dish with mashed potatoes and greens was also amazing and really well done. We also got dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The service was great the entire time. Our server was especially attentive and funny, which made the experience even better and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. Overall this is such a great spot and definitely one we will keep coming back to. They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. Michelle was our server and she is definitely top-notch! She helped us decide on some dishes, wine and even gave us the history of some of the designs that Gordon did when building the restaurant. The decorations and entire restaurant are so appealing The sweet corn soup was amazing. My wife had the shrimp cocktail and the flavors were perfect. The Parker House rolls were the best rolls ever! The entrées were both perfect. We went with Gordon's signature dishes (how could we not). The Beef Wellington melted in my mouth, perfectly prepared and cooked. My wife had the fish and chips and they were a WOW, the cook and flavors were spot on. We split the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was almost better than the entrees. Every bite was a taste of heaven. It was life changing Brent the manager checked in on us, he was friendly and engaging, we talked for quite a while. He found out that I was a huge fan and stopped by while I was going to pick a book to buy.
