RCB has added a great little spot to Canton that is arguably one of the fancier spots around here. The food is always great - we loved their fried pickles, fried green tomato sandwich, soups, green beans, and the chicken fried steak is MASSIVE. I would recommend adding a vegetable as another side to the chicken fried steak though because it literally is just a big spoonful of mashed potatoes and a big fried thing laid across it on a plate and really needs the option of a vegetable/ something a different color to help pretty up the plate and cut through the fried goodness of the steak. I feel like this is consistent across all of the food - it all tastes very good but the plates are not always well rounded sides wise or seem kind of empty. The actual location and its seating is what earns this place its low rating from me. This place is always super busy and has changed around its interior a few times since it opened. Currently, they've settled on fitting in as much seating as they can. By this I mean cramming as many tables and chairs and booths into one small area as possible and sacrificing comfort because of it. Last time we went, we were seated at a booth big enough for two that had a hard time comfortably fitting two plates and two drinks on the top of it. I felt like our legs were almost hanging out in the aisle. We were right next to the kitchen area, which did give us a nice view of the food being prepared, but unfortunately made us feel almost in the way of servers coming out with large trays, trying to avoid us even though we were trying to be as compact as possible and pretty average sized people. We watched several people in the middle area at tables and chairs have to move out of their seat so others could scoot past them to wherever they were sitting. This poor pregnant lady kept changing places with everyone at her table trying to find a spot she could have more room in. I think by taking out a few of those tables and chairs, it can give everyone a little more room to not feel so on top of each other, give servers more room to talk around, and honestly give everyone a chance to breathe. I know this will most likely never happen because of how busy the restaurant always is and there is always always a wait (unless you're going at a super off time, be prepared to wait at least 30 mins or more if you're with a larger party), but it would substantially increase the ambiance and not give everyone a feeling of being in the way and trying to rush out. I admit, I do dread coming in because I know as a two person party we will most likely be stuck in a tight area and feel the anxious enough about it to rush through our dinner even though we are paying enough money that we should be able to take our time and enjoy our outing. read more

I would say 4.6 because of a few misses but the drinks are great the staff is awesome and the bbq nachos are perfect. The trout dish sauce is too heavy. Sometimes the fish batter on the fish and chips is not done completely. The patty melt is great and the burgers are good but please add a smash burger:). Daughter loves their shrimp and grits. Been here double digit times and will be back next week. Don't ever take the bbq nachos off the menu:) and try tres agave as your well tequila. read more

Can improve? Everything. I got a Caesar salad (full portion) and it was the size of a side salad. Then we order 2 dressings (ketchup and extra Caesar dressing) and they brought us 8 different sauces when we didn't ask for it. Maybe we went on a bad night? Made reservations for an outside table and then were told to go upstairs to the "first come first serve" area when we got there... why did we make a reservation? It ended up fine because there was 1 table available so we grabbed that. My husband ordered a draft beer that we watched the bar tender pour from a can, and I was given a second mixed drink even after i said I didn't want one (I drank it though so that's on me, lol). Fried green beans were good but overpriced, steak was tough with no flavor and blackened salmon was cooked well but also no flavor. Mashed potatoes - no flavor. $100 later and I don't think we'll be back, which is a shame because the vibe is really cool and the waitress was nice. read more

I came to Canton, GA with my buddy for a photography workshop for the weekend and we decided to try this place by our hotel's front desk recommendation. We didn't have reservation but the wait time was surprisingly only 15 minutes, congratulations for that. The decoration was nice, a combination between modern and country, and our server Bethany offered an outstanding service. Pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and peach sauce was a total hit. If I ever come back to Canton, I will definitely dine here again. On a recent visit to see family in Canton, my sister suggested that we try Riverstone Corner Bistro for lunch. Whenever I visit, we make it a point to go out for lunch on a weekday afternoon. And for a Monday afternoon, it was busy. The parking lot was full, but fortunately a patron was leaving in a parking space just across the entrance. The parking lot is a bit confusing upon entering, but after turning the car around, I was able to park it with no problem. And luckily, we made it inside before it started to rain. Sandwiches/burgers on the lunch menu come with one side. I ordered the Patty Melt ($12.95). A eight ounce burger cooked medium served up on grilled rye bread with swiss cheese and grilled onions. With a side of the Crispy Fries. My sister ordered the Gyro ($10.95), with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Both sandwiches were delicious. Service is friendly, and our food came out in a timely manner. I wish I had gotten the name of our waitress. She was friendly, and knew the menu really well. As a matter of fact, she suggested the Salmon BLT. That sounded really good. But I have not had a great Patty Melt in ages. I may have to try that on our next visit. read more

Doesn't get much better than this. Had the Reuben soup on Friday. Unexpectedly, it was very good. I had a blackened salmon with Gouda grits, peach relish, and roasted veggies. This was very good. I don't normally like salmon, but this was among the best I'd eaten. Cooked on the medium well side it tasted great. The waiter we had was pretty exceptional. I wish I could remember his name. My wife and I went right when they opened at 11 during the week for an afternoon lunch. Obviously wasn't very crowded at the time. Absolutely loved it. Our server and managing stuff were attentive and great. The food was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits, and will absolutely come back for in the future, while my wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. Both of our meals were very large portions. At about 11:40 the bistro started filling up with the lunch crowd. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it seemed like the servers had no issue keeping up with a full house. Even with a full house my wife and I had no issue talking and chatting with my wife and I am one to avoid crowded paces with lots of noise, but was not bothered by it here. We will for sure be returning as the menu is large and there were many items we wanted to try. read more

I made a reservation for 7pm to celebrate with family. The restaurant was very busy on this night. We arrived 5 minutes ahead of our reservation time and checked in. Unfortunately we had to wait over 20 minutes before we were seated. We checked in with the hostess about our table 3 separate times. They sat about 5 tables ahead of us and sat a 7:30 reservation before us. The servers were rushed and drink service was slow. The restaurant was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation in our little booth. That said, every food dish we ate was amazing and the drinks were excellent. I have a severe gluten allergy. They were able to accommodate my restrictions no problem, communicated clearly, and I did not get sick from gluten! I would recommend this restaurant if you don't mind noise and have a flexible schedule. I'm not sure how they organize their reservation system, but from our experience it didn't seem very trustworthy. I'd like to come back here and give it another try in the future! read more

The black and blue burger was perfect and the Halibut over grits was the perfect little southern dish i didn't know I needed. The filet had zero seasoning and was medium rare (ordered medium) sent it back and they gave me the same piece of filet that was already cut into and it was disgusting and tasted gamey. Risotto tasted like milk. No seasoning. Soup cold, pot roast cold and uncooked potatoes. Pork chop was small, dry and flavorless. Portions are small for the price. 1 crab cake for an appetizer! 1??? Everything was terrible. Server started off great but was rude at the end because our food was bad. Didn't apologize or anything. Just Avoided table and didn't come back until it was time to get the check. Only thing that was good was the cocktails. Will not be back. read more

Took a little while for our server to come because we sat by the bar, but once she did, her service was amazing! We had the fried pickle appetizer and I could eat those for a meal! We are overdue for a review. RCB is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We can not express how much we appreciate the staff and how consistent every meal we have there. We always know when we sit down we are going to enjoy what we are being served. We have so many favorite items. I'll just list a few. My husband and I came here for a date night and left happy customers. I had the smoked pear margarita which was delicious and my husband got a beer. His "The Chop" was really good and although I had to swap out my trout for a burger because it wasn't seasoned well, the service was so wonderful. I have a dairy allergy and the manager, Rebecca came over and went over their allergen menu and offered to specially make any item as needed.
