Absolutely love RCB! Their new place is awesome. Love the upstairs porch which is first come, first server. The have drink specials on certain nights and music on Thursday the night we were there. They take call ahead but that doesn't mean you get seated when you walk in, it just means they added your name tho their already list of names. Be patient! They LOVE a your business and they LOVE providing excellent customer service so it's worth the wait! They also take reservations but call ahead of time not the day you need it. They are very accommodating! LOVE it is family owned and operated, we even met the Uncle! From them opening the door to letting us in, to the excellent service, delish food, AWESOME dessert , to them holding the door to let us out. We enjoyed our evening! My husband and I do not have a "favorite" restaurant that we go to on a regular basis because we like variety. Having said that, we have been to RCB a number of times - both at their old location and at their new one - and have had consistently good service and consistently good food. Our latest visit was on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Our server this time was "Z" and she was fantastic. Not only was the service timely, but she answered our questions about some of the menu items and made some recommendations that turned out to be wise choices! We also liked the conversation with "Z". Yes - we are those kind of people that like to get to know our servers a little better - makes the whole dining experience so much more enjoyable. As for the food, we had the Beef Wellington Sliders as an appetizer. Neither of us had Beef Wellington before - ever - so it was a treat for us. The beef was tender and the dough was cooked perfectly. Our entrees - the Tuna Poke Bowl and the Fried Chicken - were equally good. And, who goes out to dinner and does not order dessert?!? We ordered the White Chocolate Creme Brulee. The only negative (and it is a very small negative) is that the crust on the top of the creme brulee was not as firm and crunchy as we are used to - but the flavor was great! read more

Once this place opened in their new larger facility, we became regulars. It is not the best food we've had in their category of restaurants, but it is good enough and convenient. Have been here several times. The last experience was by far our worst and prompted this review. In fairness, if this review were based on that day alone, it would be 1 star but overall across the 5-6 times dining here, it's 3 stars and not more. People love this place because (1) it's set apart a few miles from the downtown Canton dining options and serves more of the neighborhood crowd, (2) it's not a chain restaurant like others in the area, (3) it's new building now has rooftop bar/dining and they still have patio dining, (4) they have a full bar and while the menu is not extensive, they've got some staples and options, and (5) it's a little more than casual but not upscale, the ambiance is decent. So, what is their competition? There really isn't much so it's always crowded and therein lies the bar being set at mediocrity for quality, flavor, and service. On our last visit I was embarrassed for them. We went to the rooftop on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar, no one else was at the bar, just my wife and I. The tables were at 1/2 capacity. We had to practically beg to get service. We were patient but it was getting ridiculous so eventually we literally ordered with the bartender walking by us and no one would ask us what we wanted. I asked what IPAs they had that day and he said none. My wife ordered wine and usually they never have what she orders (off the menu) but this time they did. I placed an order for an appetizer (as they again walked by us and wouldn't stop to take our order). In the interim(20 minutes after we got there), another couple sits down at the bar and gets serviced immediately. They place an order, their food and drinks arrive before ours and we ask multiple times if they can check the status of our order. The guy next to us also gets a can of my favorite IPA (thought they didn't have any). All the while there is a plate of cake and ice cream that's been sitting at the end of the bar melting away the entire time we were there and nobody bussed the plate. It was a bit disgusting. Eventually I get an IPA and they bring our appetizer after a solid 30-minute wait. Pitiful. This day must have been an exception as every other time we've gone we've at least received mediocre food and service, but this wasn't even that. I look forward to more options coming to the area soon so that RCB can raise their game and reach their potential. read more

On a recent visit to see family in Canton, my sister suggested that we try Riverstone Corner Bistro for lunch. Whenever I visit, we make it a point to go out for lunch on a weekday afternoon. And for a Monday afternoon, it was busy. The parking lot was full, but fortunately a patron was leaving in a parking space just across the entrance. The parking lot is a bit confusing upon entering, but after turning the car around, I was able to park it with no problem. And luckily, we made it inside before it started to rain. Sandwiches/burgers on the lunch menu come with one side. I ordered the Patty Melt ($12.95). A eight ounce burger cooked medium served up on grilled rye bread with swiss cheese and grilled onions. With a side of the Crispy Fries. My sister ordered the Gyro ($10.95), with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Both sandwiches were delicious. Service is friendly, and our food came out in a timely manner. I wish I had gotten the name of our waitress. She was friendly, and knew the menu really well. As a matter of fact, she suggested the Salmon BLT. That sounded really good. But I have not had a great Patty Melt in ages. I may have to try that on our next visit. read more

It ended up fine because there was 1 table available so we grabbed that. My husband ordered a draft beer that we watched the bar tender pour from a can, and I was given a second mixed drink even after i said I didn't want one (I drank it though so that's on me, lol). Fried green beans were good but overpriced, steak was tough with no flavor and blackened salmon was cooked well but also no flavor. I came to Canton, GA with my buddy for a photography workshop for the weekend and we decided to try this place by our hotel's front desk recommendation. We didn't have reservation but the wait time was surprisingly only 15 minutes, congratulations for that. The decoration was nice, a combination between modern and country, and our server Bethany offered an outstanding service. Pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and peach sauce was a total hit. If I ever come back to Canton, I will definitely dine here again. My wife and I went right when they opened at 11 during the week for an afternoon lunch. Obviously wasn't very crowded at the time. Absolutely loved it. Our server and managing stuff were attentive and great. The food was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits, and will absolutely come back for in the future, while my wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. Both of our meals were very large portions. At about 11:40 the bistro started filling up with the lunch crowd. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it seemed like the servers had no issue keeping up with a full house. Even with a full house my wife and I had no issue talking and chatting with my wife and I am one to avoid crowded paces with lots of noise, but was not bothered by it here. Took a little while for our server to come because we sat by the bar, but once she did, her service was amazing! We had the fried pickle appetizer and I could eat those for a meal! RCB has added a great little spot to Canton that is arguably one of the fancier spots around here. The food is always great - we loved their fried pickles, fried green tomato sandwich, soups, green beans, and the chicken fried steak is MASSIVE. I would recommend adding a vegetable as another side to the chicken fried steak though because it literally is just a big spoonful of mashed potatoes and a big fried thing laid across it on a plate and really needs the option of a vegetable/ something a different color to help pretty up the plate and cut through the fried goodness of the steak. I feel like this is consistent across all of the food - it all tastes very good but the plates are not always well rounded sides wise or seem kind of empty. The actual location and its seating is what earns this place its low rating from me. This place is always super busy and has changed around its interior a few times since it opened. Currently, they've settled on fitting in as much seating as they can. By this I mean cramming as many tables and chairs and booths into one small area as possible and sacrificing comfort because of it. Last time we went, we were seated at a booth big enough for two that had a hard time comfortably fitting two plates and two drinks on the top of it. I felt like our legs were almost hanging out in the aisle. We were right next to the kitchen area, which did give us a nice view of the food being prepared, but unfortunately made us feel almost in the way of servers coming out with large trays, trying to avoid us even though we were trying to be as compact as possible and pretty average sized people. We watched several people in the middle area at tables and chairs have to move out of their seat so others could scoot past them to wherever they were sitting. This poor pregnant lady kept changing places with everyone at her table trying to find a spot she could have more room in. I think by taking out a few of those tables and chairs, it can give everyone a little more room to not feel so on top of each other, give servers more room to talk around, and honestly give everyone a chance to breathe. I know this will most likely never happen because of how busy the restaurant always is and there is always always a wait (unless you're going at a super off time, be prepared to wait at least 30 mins or more if you're with a larger party), but it would substantially increase the ambiance and not give everyone a feeling of being in the way and trying to rush out. I admit, I do dread coming in because I know as a two person party we will most likely be stuck in a tight area and feel the anxious enough about it to rush through our dinner even though we are paying enough money that we should be able to take our time and enjoy our outing. read more
