I have to say the main reason for the rating was the fact that buying a car took almost 4 hours. Judy was wonderful in helping us look at cars, test driving and answering our questions. The internet team promptly replied to my inquiries of out the door pricing and questions regarding fees prior to our visit. But I must admit the location seems to be very understaffed as the process of buying a car took almost 4 hours as we waited to be seen buy financing to wrap up the paper work. The team was nice but my wife and I were so dead tired by the end of it we were almost ready to walk out just because of the wait alone. read more

I had a great and wonderful experience at Kia Riverside. Carlos, Judy & Frank were super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a great deal on my new 2020 Kia Niro. I drove 35 miles in 100 degree weather just to come to this dealership. The distance alone let's you know it is worth coming and meeting these great people. They will also tell it to you straight if whether or not they can do the deal or not. Overall Carlos, Judy & Frank made my experience of buying my first new car easy, enjoyable and most of all without the hassle of a dealership. read more

Came shopping here for a new car with one of my best friends. We live in the San Fernando valley and drove all the way out here because we knew we would get exceptional customer service and the best rate in a new car. Tony and Jason walked us step by step from beginning until the end. The were patient, showed us multiple care models and explained every detail. It was well worth the drive out here. We left with a brand new Optima. Keep up the great work guys!!! read more

Totally disappointed with customer service department. Came in on a Saturday yes there were a few cars ahead of me but all I needed was to have my mothers tires checked for air, I was turned away and said there was a two hour wait. Went down to Volkswagen up the street they were busy as well but did not turn me away, checked my tires and filled with air for safety. Both wagon you have five-star customer service . My mom is leasing her car from Kia she's 86 years old I told the man at Customer Service and she afraid to drive her car, he could've had it checked it only took literally two minutes. Will not ever go back to dealership again what's this leaseis up! Will never going back. read more

Jose was the nicest salesman I've ever had the chance of working with. Along with the Sales Manager, they were able to make an amazing deal on my best friend's first car a 2021 Kia Soul LX. They made her first car buying experience virtually painless and jumped through hoops to make the deal happen. The female finance manager was also HYSTERICAL and SO friendly and thorough. I myself own a Kia Soul and when it's time for my next one- I'll be stopping here. read more

DO NOT buy from this dealership! The finance person, Narcisso, focused more on telling us where the best Mexican food was in Norwalk, rather than focusing on getting my paperwork right. He also verbally told us one thing about how he was setting up the account, but how it was actually set up was different. After speaking with him he had the worst attitude and basically said I was SOL. Do NOT buy your car from here. You can get better customer service and prices from a different dealer. read more

So so decided after the horrible service I had received to give this place another try. So I get to the service Dept by 745am. To be told because of my YELP review the owner said I can NOT bring my car "That I purchase at riverside" to do any kind of service or anything any more. I could do nothing but laugh. That's what you call professional??? Instead of trying to get to the bottom of the horrible customer service they just get rid of the customer. Well they did me a favor! I went to another kia dealer and received the BEST SERVICE!! Riverside kia will sell you the car. But after that...watch out!! read more

I had an amazing experience at Riverside KIA purchasing my new 2021 Kia K5. I worked with Frank Villa Sales Manager and his team Silvia in Finance, Jose Quintes and Fabio Vasquez all went above and beyond what was expected to find the car that I wanted and they went above and beyond in getting me the exact vehicle I was set on purchasing, they made my experience very comforting and overall easing. Thanks again! read more

If 0 stars was an option I would do that. I was offered a Kia Care Service Plan with the purchase of my vehicle which increased my payment and it's been hell with this KIA 1. To use the "Service Plan" 2. Getting an appointment. 3. Getting a hold with management to solve my problem. 4. I am over my mileage on my car because they are booked for a month. 5. Why sell that service and not have the team to serve the client!! 6. Skip this dealership bad bad service And the worse part is that they charge you for something they can't perfom. read more

I went to Riverside KIA with a friend because she had her heart set on a Forte'...I too was in the market for a crossover type vehicle. Needless to say we both drove out of there with our DREAM CARS, special thanks to George Nino, Sales Mgr who went above and beyond to make it happen...Also a special thanks to Freddy Campos who treated us like family the minute we walked in..it's people like this that make car buying a nice experience instead of a chore!! I'll be sending family and friends your way RIVERSIDE KIA!! Good looking out!! read more

This by far is the most incompetent dealership I have ever encountered. They somehow managed to blow up what should have been a quick and done deal on a used Porsche they had on the lot for over 100 days that I would have paid their asking price if they just managed to bring it to be inspected as I am across the country like they agreed twice. Their communication and follow up is horrendous and I don't honestly know how they are a franchised dealer and still in business as I suspect most 12 year olds could manage this place better or at least high school students. I was told by multiple people at the dealership even the owner was aware of the situation yet they still managed to screw it up and if I were him I would look at cleaning house as I would suspect most "buy-here pay-here" dealers could have closed this deal with ease. Whats funny is how much time they also invested on making this work by looking up laws and drafting up paperwork as I am not a CA resident yet they still managed to fail. read more

Buyer beware - once you buy a car all of a sudden no one is able to pick up their phone to answer questions or return calls. I have been leaving messages for their Finance Department for over a month to get a copy of my contract and I still can't get a return call. I even expressed this to the receptionist who answers the phone and she still sent me to voicemail. So frustrated!!! read more

My wife and I highly recommend buying a car from Riverside Kia. Brian Arterbery and Michael Nino were very helpful with helping us find a vehicle for our son within our price range. Thanks Riverside Kia! read more

Thanks to Chris for being helpful... but Andrew is an asshole, he is rude and extremely disrespectful. How he can still be employed there is beyond me... can you guys not do better? After a complaint was made to another employee, they were quick to point out his name to be Andrew as the rude person who was "assisting" us. Hope he's fired soon. And that rude girl who "only gives out receipts and nothing else", needs a lesson in customer service. read more

This place sucks I have called five times and can't even get someone to answer my phone call. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager just put me on hold for 20 minutes. I guess if you buy a Kia and have issues with it you better figure it out yourself because this warranty thing is hard to even get a hold of. read more

Purchased the 2021 Kia K5 as a first time car buyer a couple days ago and Carington made it super easy and painless! He was very personable, transparent and thorough. I am disgusted at the terrible customer service accepted by Riverside Kia. I have had continuous problems with my vehicle after the recall service. I brought my car in to make sure it's safe to drive. After keeping my car for a day and a half, I'm told everything was fixed by replacing the battery. Shockingly, the problems persisted after replacing the battery. I have notified the Service Manager, the General Manager Mark Aiken, and Director James Bell a couple of times without receiving a response. Now I'm receiving texts and calls from Riverside Kia Sales, trying to sell me a new car. Clearly my emails were read and ignored. Kia is clearly not taking safety seriously. read more

I am not one to rant about bad experiences, but it's always good to give feedback for the sake of others. Now this is a dealer that does not honor a final deal even after the final handshake was made, if your making a deal with these guys just take into consideration handshakes to seal a deal means nothing in this dealership, I was skeptical on visiting a dealer with low ratings and I should have stayed away, my fault of course, I decide to send them a message for a deal and after negotiating over messages for a few days we came to an agreement and the person I was messaging said his manager gave him the okay to follow through with the deal, I showed up and I confirm with the sale's person several times that this is the deal we agreed upon, and the sales person mentioned aslong as your credit is good then we have a deal, we sign the papers everything checked out okay and the sales person came back shook our hands and told us we had a deal on the agreed price if we gave a good review to the original person I spoke too, at this point we shake hands and sealed the deal, I was happy that they came though with their promise, takes us to the GM desk and told us they had a problem and they could not fall through with the deal anymore, they kept blaming it on the original person i spoke with that the information was never relay to the GM even though the original person I spoke too mentioned that he had spoken with his manager to give the okay on the deal, and even though we confirmed everything and shook on it with the sales person, they still kept blaming it on the 1st person i was originally working with, which makes no sense because I did not sealed the deal with the 1st person, and they went on for a while throwing their co-worker under the bus which I felt it was morally wrong for a company like kia to embrace this type of behavior. before I left, the GM told me to go to another brand because I was not going to get another deal like this one anywhere I went, even after they increased the agreed upon deal, but I rather pay that extra price with another company that is going to have honesty and integrity than a company that has no honor and no morals. This dealer is something else one lie after another, since I cant reply I will add this to the update, first of all it was just me and my sister no 3rd person, second I have the messages from Armando of the final deal we decided on, or you can grab them from him, fourth I confirm with Daniel several times that, that the deal on the dark gray xsl forte model was the one we came in for, he kept saying yes, daniel ran my sisters credit came back and shook my sisters hands and said she had a deal, I can 100% guarantee neither through message, nor at the location was the S model mentioned not from our part nor from your staff part, now either your lying to make it sound like it's our fault or your staff is lying too you, Ultimately I am glad I did not do business with Riverside Kia. read more

Like high pressured sales? Like cliche sleazy car salesmen who will straight up lie over and over, use guilt and any other possible way to get you to make a huge life changing decision that only benefits them. Then come to Riverside Kia and ask for Ben Hamed. He, with the encouragement from his managers will dupe you into a bad deal and literally lie about the car, the deal and the benefits after. If you love to feel like a complete sucker be sure to come here! read more

BEWARE. The dealership is not transparent people. Manager is rude. The only plus was the internet sales person who was responsive but kept saying thats not the price (the sticker price on the car) there are extras (extras were a $5k markup for "supply issues" on a already marked up car). They post the price minus the "extra supply surcharge" on the car and then get you in the door to tell you this... (wonder if this is legal? To post a price then add $5k) and unfortunately many probably fall for paying $$$$ extra for a car not worth the amount you are paying...I went onto KIA.com and found a price that was reasonable and $8k below what they were trying to get me to take... I prefer trust over trying to justify ripping people off. Shame on this business. I will never refer someone or do business here...Padding pockets over keeping business... read more

YOUR SEARCH ENDS HERE Alright ya'll, I am a first time buyer and the people over at Riverside Kia took such great care of me. I got into a bad accident, was out of work for a month and needed a new car before going back to work.Originally, I had my heart set on a Honda Civic, I love the manual transmission. My tio insisted on checking out kia and im sooooo grateful we did. What I admired is there was no BS, everything was put up front, and, much to my surprise, was a speedy process (took only 2-3 hours:). The wonderful, hard-working people that helped me were Armando, inventory dude, Frank, big boss man, and Will, the man with the money. Now, once I got onto the side of Kia I wanted to get the Optima, bc let's face it they're noice. I got approved BUT the banks were asking for like a $3-4000 downpayment. I had only a $500 downpayment, OK credit, and no trade in. Let me tell you, I have never had strangers work so hard for me before in my life! Armando tells me to hang tight bc he and Frank were trying to see what they could do for me. I have been here a couple times before to browse and do 1-2 test drives and this time I was intent on going home with a car. He comes back big ol' smile on his face and goes, "I've got news, you got approved for a new car but you might want to check it out." We did. And I even got to test drive it. In the end, I got the car. Will was the last man I had to see. He was the one that helped me with all the financials. He explained everything clearly to make sure I understood and was okay with what was going on. When I got into my accident I got a concussion and it was dragging on. Will was incredibly understanding and took his time with me. We even had a heart-to-heart bc while he was doing all the financial paperwork he kept up the conversation with my tio (uncle) and I. He did not act as if we were a nuance or act as if he was ready to go home. I was not rushed and I felt really taken care of. Like I actually mattered. What other car dealership is going to do that for you? Make you feel welcome, answer all, any, and stupid questions (w/o making you feel stupid). My experience here was exceptional from the moment I steeped onto the lot to the moment I left and you can't really put a price on genuine employees but I do wish them well on all future endeavors. Hopefully, this review helps some of you first-time buyers bc I can tell you rn that you do not need to go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and buy from Riverside Kia. I came home with a 2021 Kia Forte. I've been driving it for a week now and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I know oof something were to happen, lord forgive, I'd be back here in a heartbeat. Its safe to say Riverside Kia's got itself a lifetime customer! Big thanks once again to Frank, GM, Armando, sales consultant/inventory dude, and Will, man with the money. read more

My experience at Kia riverside was outstanding. I came in trying to get an SUV for the family because our car isn't big enough. Brian Arterbery was very helpful. He explain the different type of SUV's and the different packages they had. He also helped me and my family get the car of our dreams. We got the Kia Sorento 2020 the 7 seater. It is perfect for my family. I'm so grateful for his help because I was really set on one vehicle and left with a better vehicle. If you are looking for a Kia for the new year make sure you go see Brian. You will not regret it read more

My husband and I made one of our first big purchases together at Riverside Kia. We got the plug-in Sorento, a car we really wanted. The staff at Riverside Kia were helpful throughout the entire process, from the phone call to let us know the car was there to the handing of the keys to drive away. Didn't budge on price as much as we had hoped but were definitely willing to get to a price that we felt like was still a win-win. Great experience! Would highly recommend! read more

If I could give a worse score I would. Called service department today to make a customer pay scheduled maintaince appointment and was told the soonest available was November 12th. I went in for an oil change and waited over 3 hours, I don't recommend you getting a car wash either, just recently bought my Kia soul 2018 and already have issues with it, the service there is not good, they dont care about customers, very rude and parts department manager is not professional, I over heard him talk about other customers, very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! read more

So far I am going on week 3 of having to rent a car with only communication when I call and ask. Kias policy states they will reimburse for 10 days at 36$ a day. This dealership has just assumed that I can afford to keep renting cars and don't care or know what the policy is for getting money back. As of today I am out 36$ a day and I fully expect that I will not be called back about my car or be offered anything in return. Why is it expected that we pay and communicate if that's not how we are treated. I sure hope they change my view but I'm not holding my breath. read more

Just wanted to leave a great review for this Dealer! I bought a grey forte got line yesterday on a Saturday night! Took our 2011 KIA Sorrento in because the push-button starter, sometimes, will stop working. We left the car there, and picked it up the next day. "New battery was all she needed" they told us. We paid the insane amount of over $200 and walked to the car. Guess what?? It didn't start!! They said "give it a minute, it's been sitting for awhile"...after 2 tries, sure enough, it started up. 5 days later? Wouldn't start!! We took it back in Friday the 3rd. It's still there, and nobody is answering the phones, or returning texts or phone calls. Won't be returning to this sh*thole. Pathetic. read more

New service manager is the most uncaring, unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Over 1 month to try and figure out what is wrong with my lift gate and his "guess" is it is a bad module. His solution? Wait until a "like" car comes in to take the module off that car and try it on mine. Really? That's how modern dealerships troubleshoot? Stay very far away from this dealership. When you try to talk to the service manager he won't let you finish your sentence, if you can even get through to him. Waited multiple times over 15 minutes. Worst service ever. read more

Can't say enough good about these guys. Extremely polite and helpful from start to finish. Frank Villa and Mike Ivezzy made what can sometimes be a very stressful process very easy and worth while. We never once felt any pressure or worry. We came in to buy out our current lease, because we didn't think we could afford otherwise. I went in to get a simple service for an oil-change that was due. I had an appointment for 9 AM, and thought this would be the perfect amount of time to get the service done, and make it for a very important meeting at 1:30pm by UC Riverside. I arrived at 8:40AM, they took my car in and told me to come back at around 11 AM. Considering the time gap, a friend picked me up and drove me back home. When I returned at 11 AM, the service department LOST my car. They could not find the keys, couldn't even locate where they had left my car. After an hour of them just looking for it, turns out that they had serviced the wrong vehicle and hadn't even TOUCHED mine yet. I was obviously upset, frustrated, and losing my patience. They asked, "We're sorry. Do you still want to get the oil changed or do you want to come back?" Was this a joke??? I had already wasted my entire morning when I could have been preparing for my meeting. I asked for the service to be done ASAP and needed it to be a priority, given the circumstances. It was 1:00 PM and they had still not finished. I went up to the rep helping me at the desk, and she went to ask for an update. She came back, and said they still had not finished. I HAD to be at my meeting by 1:30, so I requested a courtesy ride. Not only did they give me a hard time about it, their driver was on lunch. GREAT. It was 1:20PM, and the driver finally shows up to take me to my location, my car still not being done. Not once did they show a sense of URGENCY or COURTESY. I arrived late to my meeting and made a clear bad impression on my colleagues for arriving 20-25 minutes late. AFTER my meeting at 2:45, I call the service department for a courtesy ride to the dealership .... to pick up... MY CAR. 6 hours after I had left it there. "We're sorry, our driver is out for the day." NO. WAY. I had to find my own ride to the dealership. Upon arrival, my car was ready. BUT surprise surprise.... they had not done a car wash, which is routinely a complimentary car wash with a service. "You can come back any time next week and we'll give you a free car wash!" as IF this day could get worse??? Absolutely not. I do NOT recommend going to this location. They were very unprofessional, disorganized, and had the worst customer service. The least one could have done was provide some sort of discount for all of the inconveniences caused by poor service. I was, and still am, very disappointed. read more
