    Friday Special!

It's been a return after 2 years. It's still good. Like eating at your favorite aunt's or grandma's house.

Just a really cute small homestyle café with great downhome cooking. Portions sizes are great, Wait staff friendly and prices reasonable for the amount of food you get. For a small place they stay extremely busy but we'll worth the wait. Family owned small business, lgbtq friendly.

    Riverside Meatloaf Omelette (special)

Let's start with a "Meatloaf Omelette"! One of the BEST omelettes I've had in a loooong time!!! And great biscuits too. DELICIOUS! The service was good and considering how old this place must be, it was in pretty good shape. Maybe not the neighborhood, but if you're inside stuffin' yer face, who cares about the neighborhood! The prices were reasonable, AND I had leftovers to take home to hubby. Definitely glad we made it a point to eat here.

Come ready to down a BIG breakfast. Offering much of the usual fare , but with a few unique originals to omelets, wraps, breakfast plates. About 10 tables. We got there between the breakfast and brunch/ lunch crowd. Service efficient and friendly and fast. Not much in the way of decor but no one comes here for ambiance unless it's of an I decorated kind. My slider plate was HUGE and loaded with slider. Come hungry, but if you leave that way, it's all on you!!

Small, locally owned business. Customers always seem to be regulars. Their Facebook post of the lunch special drew me in. Reuben sandwich, with fries, tots, or onion rings for $12.99. Huge sandwich, that I probably should have saved half for dinner. The only improvement I would like to see, is their 1000 island dressing. It was very thin and didn't have any pickle relish in it. Service was quick, waitress was very nice.

Special: Blueberry Lemon Curd French Toast Not shown: eggs, bacon, and roasted potatoes

Went on a Saturday morning around 10:00 off of a suggestion from the in-laws. It was unusually slow, according to the in-laws. We were told they had a lot of Door Dash orders and most of their usuals were out of town, so we got lucky! Everyone working was attentive and friendly. They have your standard breakfast options and a few specials, which Blueberry Lemon Curd French toast (I ordered and loved!) and Eggs Benny. I did substitute the hash browns casserole for roasted potatoes, per recommendation. They were great! My fiancée got the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and a biscuit. His country fried steak and biscuit were delicious. He thinks the biscuits may be homemade. His eggs weren't the best he's ever had, but he's kind of a scrambled egg snob, so nothing against Riverside! He'll probably go with the biscuits and gravy next time. It's definitely a deep hidden gem!

Solid south side breakfast diner. Off the beaten path....if you know (you know). The service is prompt & pleasant. Plenty enough seating and the place is clean. I usually order takeaway breakfast. The coffee is good & hot, veggie egg white omelette with spinach added does the job. Pancake was a bit doughy for my taste but fluffy. The biscuits & gravy was a win for my dining companion. ~Christy Recommended

Came for breakfast but was amazed by their homemade desserts! Both were equally delicious!!! Gravy was good. The potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. Will definitely return

Still after all this time! The best breakfast on the south side. I come here every weekend, because it is the best! Sometimes I come by myself and sit at the bar. On the weekend, I always call before I leave the house to be put on the list. The wait is always worth it. You can also call on the weekends and get a to go order. They put their specials for the day up on their facebook page too, so I usually know what I am ordering before I walk in the door. The best staff, the service is top notch! Great little hole in the wall diner!

Nice location in the Patch area of St Louis. The diner is beautifully decorated on the inside and very family friendly. Servers were nice and accommodating with coffee refills. I had the BBB which is biscuits and gravy with sausage, eggs, and potatoes. My wife had the Saturday special of strawberry pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. Our friend had the French toast with hash brown casserole. All the dishes were perfect. Will definitely be going back. A great find for brunch or lunch.

It's one of our favorite places for breakfast. Always good food and service. Very cozy inside but not so crowded that you bump the table next to you. When it is just the two of us, we like to sit at the bar in front of the TV. Today, we enjoyed a vintage Price is Right show. Daily specials change frequently. We both ordered today's special and were not disappointed. Very tasty, very filling. Bonus, we have leftovers for later :)

Great diner food, and wonderful people! Yes, the food takes a while, but enjoy the people and the place. Yes, the area is a little sketchy, but it's fine I promise! No, there's aren't very many seats so you may have your wait for seating, it is worth it! Sitting at the bar is fine too!

My wife, being vegetarian had the Panino Fresco. It included mozzarella, provolone, dressed with homemade olive salad, tomato, onion & Italian vinegar oil on an Italian roll. This was the first time in 26 years that she finished the entire sandwich. I had a bite of hers, and it is easy to see why she she finished it. So good. I even bought a memorable t-shirt as I loved Blues City Deli. The female counter person was so friendly. She even wrote down three other restaurants to try while we were visiting St Louis. It's a wonderful BBQing meat smell that makes you can't wait to eat. The place is bigger on the inside than it looks and very clean. There's an outdoor eating area as well. We ordered at the bar, both my friend and I ordering the OG Brisket Sandwiches, mine with Coleslaw and my friend's with fries. No sooner did we sit down did our food come, and WOW, the sandwiches were huge with a pile of perfectly cooked melt in your mouth Brisket. I'm hard pressed to remember any better.
