German-themed, as you can see, the kids ordered pizzas and the wife and I shared a knockwurst (came with potato salad). As they were out of pizza, the kids pivoted to German Franks. They only had one frank left, so kid two chose the potato pancakes. To be clear, the staff are insanely friendly and helpful. They were apologetic about the pizzas and were happy to run out to buy more franks if we wanted to wait a few extra minutes. So instead of this being a complaint, dear reader, know that they might run out of things! Anyway, we also ordered a Dunkel beer. (if you are used to Hoffbrau's Dunkel, know that this is a bit smokier in flavor.) Kids had the homemade ginger beer and rootbeer. The ginger beer is very gingery! (again, not a complaint!) The food - delicious sausage-esque options. Potato salad was AMAZING! We wanted a bowl of it. Curry fries were a little lacking - either more sauce or less fries, but hey, bar food. Potato pancakes were a standout. Overall, we had a great time. Our 3 kids are noisy and they have many games. Like many brewery or brewery-adjacent locations, great for kids due to noice and low pressure environment. It was getting quite busy when we were heading out (Saturday around 7ishpm)

If that's your thing, then 4+ stars! Will also give a big thumbs up to the decor -- loved what was on the walls and the floors looked like they'd recently been redone. Various dishes our group had included a breakfast sandwich with sausage; an omelette, which was probably the healthiest option of what folks got; a cheeseburger; someone else got a French dip kind of sandwich. French fries were fought over -- so also a thumbs up for them. Again, I was the outlier in our group and in other reviews so I do plan to return to give it another chance. Check out the menu and other reviews and maybe you'll give it four or more stars!

A decent establishment, basically just a bar with dining. I tried both their warrior's harvest fresh hop IPA and the horseman's pumpkin ale -- both decent, nothing spectacular. I ordered the blazin' wings & the bourbon blue burger for dinner; also both decent, nothing spectacular. Ordered at the bar; bartender was friendly. Would I recommend going out of your way to come here?; no. Would I swing by this place again if I was in town?; probably not. But is it a decent ("ok") experience and thankfully not awful?; yes.

Through the blood, sweat, and tears, they were able to create an opportunity in Pearl River New York for the locals and non locals like me to enjoy some great drafts and bbq. I tried not to be the excited traveler right at the door, but luckily, Amy, the owner's wife, was willing to take a wayward traveler in to start enjoy their beers right as they opened. They have a book and beer book club to sip and read, cornhorn club and a large beer hall with music to jam out to. With the Full Auto Arena nearby, I would recommend mom chill here while the dads and sons let some steam off or if we all know Mom can show up anyone with some liquor courage.
