Kolsh (small) and 10oz
Elsie C.

Place is great! Staff was super friendly and informative. Place was clean. Food was good. Prices very reasonable. I kind of stumbled into this place while looking for a local spot to go out for a couple drinks. We had their kolsh(?).... Light, summery, crisp. Totally recommend. I'll be returning :)

Went for a ride with my husband for a date night. Wanted to try a local brewery because we normally don't like just going to bars. Found this place on Yelp and decided to go. A nice little bierhaus right outside Haverstraw. Wasn't so busy a couple of regulars. The bartender was nice. We decided to get a flight to sample and ended up with a Kanawauke wheat and Hi-Tor rye porter. They had a smallncollection of games so we played some cards and dominoes while my husband waited for his knockwurst. It wasnt the best and it wasnt the wurst either. Then they had trivia! That was a fun treat. The small crowd playing was friendly and a little competitive. They had a small bier garden, which was a nice spot to step outside for a smoke. Overall the place was clean, the staff was fun and friendly and the beer was refreshing and tasty. I'd go by their again.

This brewery is located in Stony Point looks like in the middle of a neighborhood. I love the location because you would not expect to find an awesome brewery. The brewery is small located in the front of an house, but it has a great outdoor area where you can relax, open an umbrella and enjoy the sun, and even watch the birds. Beer and food: black IPA. Never had a black IPA and it was incredible. It was like a sweet stout. If I wasn't driving, I would have ordered another. Their hotdog was delicious too. A nice hotdog with snap with warm sauerkraut and mustard was the perfect compliment for the beer. The side of German potato salad was a nice treat too. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Staff: Dave, brewer is super friendly! There was a very nice lady that brought us out hotdog, she was super nice and friendly too. Bathroom: there is shared bathroom, but it was very clean

Small and friendly micro brewery in Stony Point. David, the brewer, is friendly and knowledgeable. Ambiance: small and inviting tap room with nice outdoor space Beer: Excellent. The saison is a limited production French saison, hoppy and floral, very balanced with a dry finish. The Black IPA- reminiscent of a hoppy Porter. Food: some food available. We tried the frankfurter. With wam sauerkraut and mustard, it was just right with a German Helles. Overall cleanliness: above average Bathroom cleanliness: above average Staff: very nice

I stopped by here this past Sunday by myself for some beers. Whenever I am able to visit a new brewery in an area that I am in I try to. So on this day my wife encouraged me to visit Stony Point Brewing and I was game. It's located right on E Railroad Ave and the taproom is labeled as the Bricktown Bierhaus which was honestly a little confusing. However I confirmed on Yelp it was the place and then entered. The inside is somewhat small with a bar seating 4 people and then tables seating about 20 more. They also had a bunch of outdoor seating and although the weather was nice on this day, it was windy and so I chose to sit at the bar. The decor inside was interesting as they had a Bavarian pennant flag banner and then tiny little houses along the top. For my beer on this day, I decided to go with a flight as I often do whenever I visit a new brewery. The cost for a flight here is $15 and consists of 4 pours. I ended up choosing the Oh my Grod! grodziskie, big black bark (black IPA), Kings Ferry IPa and Seven Flakes Stout. First up was the Grodziskie which was smooth with some nice smokiness to the finish. It was enough smoke that it was pleasant and recognizable without being a smoke bomb and i think would be an easy sipper. Up second was the Big Black Bark which had some richness from the dark malts along with a bit of hoppiness on the finish. Third was the Kings Ferry Ipa which had a nice bit of hops on the backend. Last but certainly not least was the Seven flakes stout which was a little sweet to start and then was followed by those caramely flavors at the finish from the dark malts. Out of the bunch, I think that the stout was my favorite with the grod coming in second. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. All of the beers were nice representations of their styles and I enjoyed my chats with both the owner and his wife.

The restaurant was extremely busy and clearly understaffed -- there were only two servers working incredibly hard. Service was definitely slow, but I give them a lot of credit for doing their best under the circumstances. They were very gracious and even brought us a complimentary drink to apologize for the wait, which was a really nice touch. Despite the delays, the food was excellent. The nachos were great, the French dip and chicken sandwich were both very good, and honestly, the fries were some of the best I've ever had. We also tried their house-made beer, which was delicious. One thing to note is the layout of the restaurant. It's right next to (and partially within) the arcade, so it can get very loud with lots of kids running around and yelling. I can definitely see the appeal for parents -- being able to eat and have a drink while keeping an eye on their kids is a big plus. For those without kids or looking for a quieter, kid-free night, it's just something to be aware of. That said, I'd love to come back in the summer and sit on the outdoor deck along the water. Overall, a cool spot with great food.

Past three times I've been, they have been dry to the point of overcooked and hollow. But the burgers are good and other menu items are also tasty. Disappointing that they shut down early weekdays. Especially Wednesdays! lol. Dining area holds plenty of seating indoors and out. View of Hudson River is awesome! Staff are all good people! Bar outside is not too bad. Good social spot! Like I said. I like this place and will still visit. So solid two thumbs up.

Service was good and…read morefriendly, our waiter recommended great beers for my friends and helped me connect my phone to wifi. We ordered the mushroom burger and fish tacos along with all of their dips and fries to share. Fries were perfect - crispy, soft, and seasoned properly. I loved all the dips but the truffle aioli was my absolute favorite. Mushroom burger was made very well, full of mushrooms and the patty was juicy and cheese was gooey. I do wish there was slightly more seasoning on it; perhaps some more salt. The fish tacos were delicious, there was a lot of slaw but I appreciated it. I do think that while the fish was fried perfectly, I would have liked a larger piece of fish. The slaw to fish ratio was slightly off. The corn that came on the side w the fish tacos was amazing and fresh and a great idea. I think it can even be dressed up and presented as an elote option. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here. If you are in the area definitely check this place out.

Brian has a natural and exemplary way about him of hospitality was a person! Not to mention super knowledge about the beer menu. Strong words... but those who know ... know I hold no punches! Moving on.... I'm a stout girl: I tried Morning Oats and Coconut Collusion. I liked them both but it was Coconut Collision for the win! Not too sweet nice remarkable coconut notes that are not overwhelming... even keel. Reminiscent of Guinness.... All the things a stout should be. Since I was in the mood for a birthday beer... Morning Oats had to be tabled (butI will return for it). I also had Circle Back (Pilsner) which was awesome - Brian's recommendation (the beer whisperer). It was a wonderful experience. Super chill and 90s music on Thursday when I'm trying to work and have a pint is what it should be! In. The. Cut. DOPE! Great for groups and I when you're flying solo - slap an unpretentious date night. ::: couple next to me equally as pleased ::: Venue is industrial chic. Oh... and the burgers are definitely something to write home about! It's worth the visit!
