I do wish there was slightly more seasoning on it; perhaps some more salt. The fish tacos were delicious, there was a lot of slaw but I appreciated it. I do think that while the fish was fried perfectly, I would have liked a larger piece of fish. The slaw to fish ratio was slightly off. The corn that came on the side w the fish tacos was amazing and fresh and a great idea. I think it can even be dressed up and presented as an elote option. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here. For me the real standout was the Politics and Religion, a DIPA with milk sugar and coconut and sabro hops. This is just a quintessential NJ brewery. My girlfriend and I have been to a lot of NJ breweries over the years, and we feel confident ranking this one high on the list. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in February and whiled away the hours watching Winter Olympics with the staff and other patrons. The only downside is parking. There are about five parking spots out front. If you're not lucky enough to grab one of them, and especially if they have a special event going on, you'll have to demolition derby your way into a parking space amongst the maze of narrow streets that surround the brewery. This place just passed their 7th anniversary and will undoubtedly be around for many years to come. We live far away but can't wait to come back someday.

So I went with the Sanguine which was supposed to be their blood orange wheat beer. It was drinkable but definitely not something I'd get again. I enjoyed both but loved the cherry. They also welcome people bringing takeout from local restaurants and provide small food items (hot dogs, popcorn, etc). On the night I visited I brought food from a local pizza place. They were hosting an event in partnership with a local business or group passionate about letter writing/ handwritten notes. The man running the event passed out cards with envelopes and stamps and it was nice seeing people write and making connections. It was really cool to see how they support a lot of environment and sustainable development initiatives - the relationship they have with the community is a strong one. I was also surprised to learn they host a chess club/ gathering consistently on the weekends - something I'm looking forward to exploring!

Heads up to winos: they exclusively sell cerveza. As well as normal non-alcoholic drinks such as soda and Gatorade. That selection tho. I love me a craft brew but I went with a friend who actually makes his own beer and knows his stuff - there were finds even he vouched for as rare and amazing. There's a freakin walk-in cooler. As well as a box of free wild hops next to the check out counter. What the actual heck. I'm not from the area but if I was I'd be shopping here weekly.
