I have been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years . Their staff is exceptional. Pharmacist Aline is always helpful , kind and informative . She knows the patients by their name and is always smiling and welcoming . The other staff members are very helpful too every time I come in. Even if prescription isn't ready they make sure they do it right away and I don't wait a long time . They have been giving covid vaccinations with no extra help on top of their daily orders. This is amazing ! They've been risking their lives everyday to help patients of our community . Thank you ! read more

Ice cream always taste better after midnight. This store has always been in a good location for me and now that they have re-done the floor plan it' looks great, wide open isles and great products.. I mainly go for the Ice cream (coming home late on Friday Night's) and cleaning products, but I have been known to pick up some wine and beer specials, the staff although ever changing has always been polite and very helpful, signs of good management.. But if you haven't been since the makeover you're in for a pleasant surprise... read more

Rite Aid - Not the only reason to go here but maybe the best :) - Drugstores Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

I am sorry I ever brought my prescriptions to this pharmacy. My prescriptions are supposed to be on automatic renewal but that does not happen. I called a week ago and my prescriptions were supposed to be ready for pick up today. Then I got an email from them saying my prescription was out of stock and would not be ready for several days and they totally forgot another medication. Incompetent. read more

This is a standard Rite Aid with pharmacy. The selection is typical and there are sales if you have your Wellness+ card. The worst part about this Rite Aid is the long wait at checkout sometimes. Even though there may only be two or three people waiting in line it can take up to 15 minutes or more just to buy your stuff. They really need to make it faster to check out either with more cashiers or training the cashiers to be faster. read more

The service here is appalling. I have tried to call in a prescription four times and they keep putting me on hold over two days - each time well over 10 minutes - there is no time of day that seems to work for this pharmacy to put a live person on the line. I have been coming here for years due to proximity to my house - time to find a new pharmacy. read more

I keep telling them to not give me child proof caps, they said they made a note of it but the pharmacy continues to do it. I can't open my own meds! I'm only here because my insurance, SCAN, didn't contract with them this year but now that's changed for 2019 and I'm going back to my CVS in Hermosa where's there's better deals, always give me the right bottle caps and no beggars out front everyday asking for money. Also the pharmacist at Rite Aid consults at the check out, so much for privacy! I'm so done with this place. read more

This place is nearly worthless. We moved 1/4 of a mile away a year ago and have been using this place for our prescriptions since then. We also have 2 small children. Well only once in about 12 trips to pick up prescriptions have I been able to do so the first time I get to the window. There are regularly lines, and people waiting there with me for flu shots. I have even been told to come back later 3x because it would likely take more than an hour. read more

Slllllllllowwwwwwessssssssttttttt. Evvvvvvvvvverrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Longest wait, every time, no matter what time of day. I would kind if it was a casual refill that could be ordered ahead of time, but you need meds urgently, do ANYTHING but go here. read more

I love the location of the store, however like others have said for a rite aid this one is very expensive. The target on PCH a few miles away is typically 10% cheaper on mid range drug store items ($8-$25 range items I would say) but there's no ice cream at target, so there's that. If you go here for ice cream; be sure to ask someone at the checkouts for help to be sent over because sometimes you'll stand there for a while before they actually send someone to help. Usually only late night though. read more

My cousin and I were stuck here for longer than we needed to be. The cashier was of little help, he put 20 cents on an iTunes gift card when I wanted $20.00 on it. When I asked him what would happen to those 20 cents, he gave me an attitude and then pulled out 20 cents from his pocket and gave it to me. Rude much? Items were misplaced, making me think they were cheaper than they really were. For example, my older cousin wanted to buy Hypnotiq thinking it was $15 but it was really $25, so we needed to exchange it. The cashier needed "authorization" for everything too, making bad, slow customer service even slower. I don't recommend going here at all. read more

Worse pharmacy ever I was standing in line at the pharmacy for my prescription and then Carlos ask me for day of birth in front of everyone so i said the month and day , he reply I need the year , I reply I prefer giving you my ID he reply it not what you prefer I am asking you your full DOB I said take my ID he give me some attitude so I told him if he knew about privacy act he took my id out of my hands and reply it not that hard to speak wow wow wow wow so don't expect privacy act there at all everyone in the store will know your business read more

The only reason I even consider ever entering this Rite Aid because it is around the corner of my home. I learn to always call the Pharmacy first to check their stock before coming to drop off my prescription. Guess what? This was Wed and they said that "We don't have enough pills in stock to fill your prescription and we can't order them until Monday (which is 5 days later). I can give you the 11 pills but I have to charge you full price and you can not pick up the rest of the pills later on. I'm not a permanent pharmacist and only the main pharmacist can order medicine. Thus you have to wait till next week". Say what? Are you serious? Ok Rite Aid, I have never heard of such crazy nonsense. I feel very sorry for this Rite Aid bec I think that you are trying very hard to go out of business in this very competitive environment. There are several other drug stores around within 1-2 miles radius who do have a solid customers service esp CVS inside Target on Sepulveda. read more

The staff in the pharmacy are so inept I can't believe it. Dangerously inept. I ordered a refill of my usual prescription, which they've filled for 5+ years. They gave me half the pills I needed for the month and said they'd "try" to order more. The didn't, and they have 0 pills for me next month. they said I should feel free to call other Rite Aids or other pharmacies. I went to Pill Packs. They are great. They have everything. BUT Rite Aid had already filled a different prescription for me so I told the Rite Aid pharmacist that I'd pick it up this morning since it was ready and I needed it immediately. They wouldn't let me have it. They said they'd sent that prescription to Pill Packs with the others. So I called Pill Packs. Rite Aid DID NOT send them the prescription, and I need it TODAY. read more

I have been coming to this Rite Aid with my friends for almost 10 years now to pick up snacks and groceries for my family. Last night I came in with a friend of mine after a long bike ride to pick up some snacks and drinks at around 10:30-11pm. From the second we entered the store we were followed by the woman I'm assuming manages this establishment the entirety of our shopping. I was followed from the food section, to the counter and noticed the lady blocking the exit door for me and my friend despite his items already purchased and I was checking out with mine. We were then followed outside and watched as we unlocked our bikes and then followed EVEN FURTHER to the end of the parking lot. Seriously cannot believe that someone would feel the need to press 2 20 year olds dressed in regular clothes and not causing any drama inside the store. I'm really upset and disappointed to be treated like this despite coming in almost weekly. If you come anytime at night beware, a champion sweater, beanie, and white converse will throw up a red flag and you'll be pressured to leave as soon as you enter the store. To any teens/young adults, if you need to pick up some small groceries at a 24hr pharmacy I'd highly recommend the CVS just down the street, always treats me with kindness whether I come in my pajamas at 2am or work clothes at 3pm. I wouldn't expect the same respect from this place. read more

Ann, the pharmacist, went above and beyond helping me getting my son's inhaler medication. With covid19, it was challenging to get it and she made a bunch of phone calls to not only do so, but did it same day. Even coming to work is putting herself at risk, so going above and beyond was that much more appreciated. read more

This place is located right next to my job. Super convenient when I need to run over for a drink or a snack. The staff is friendly and always acknowledges me as I walk in. The prices vary depending on what you need but it's just like every convenience store. You pay for what you need. I like to look for the sale items and or advertised deals. read more

The pharmacy here is slower than the DMV, do not go here if you have any plans for next couple days.

Drug store with Pharmacy. Close to home. Expect an individual seated at the front entrance in front of a box asking for donations. Every...damn...time. It's tiresome. I do not know if Rite Aid officially endorses this, but giving cash to a stranger with no accountability is bad on many levels. I wish Rite Aid would not endorse "charities" asking for money. No other business I know in town does this. read more

Ann and the other pharmacists here are fantastic. They are knowledgeable and work hard to help customers get what they need.

If you don't mind waiting a week for your prescription to be filled, this is your place. If you enjoy giving your personal information three times then they still get it wrong, go to Rite Aid. read more

If I could give this location less than one star I would. The cashier Jenny was rude as could be, I've had a prior experience with the same woman. My sister and I have had a bad experience with her before when she told me to "wait outside" when my sister and I were buying chocolate and popcorn and she bought a bottle of wine with it, she said it was store policy but she showed them her ID. Doesn't make any sense. She rang us up and said the card wasn't working when we check our Wells Fargo and the transaction said cancelled, she canceled the transaction over and over and re scanned we ended up having to put everything back WASTE OF TIME. And they weren't nice. The only lady who was nice was the woman who showed us the nail polish in the back but WE COULDNT EVEN BUY IT SO WHATEVERRRRR. read more

Nice that they are open 24/7! At 6 AM was able to get in and out quickly with over the counter meds, water, drinks and snack foods to hit the beach for a volleyball tournament. read more

Was stuck in line for far too long! The store clerk was unable to handle ringing up items without the help of his manager. The customer service left much to be desired...the manager should have taken over after the first problem. read more

Inside is nice and clean. Outside lights are out and needs to be fixed. Had a hard time finding it at night.

Was in-between health insurances and needed some Augmentin for my daughter. Rite Aid gave me a cash quote of close to $300....TXG I decided to shop around a little. Got my prescription filled at Saint John's Medical Plaza pharmacy (in Santa Monica) for $20.00!!!! Will never take any prescriptions to Rite Aid again they are OUTRAGEOUS! read more

This store is great selection wise but there is ALWAYS A SLOOOW LINE. There's one checker always and I'm in line at least 5-10 minutes every single time I come to this store. Hire more employees please. read more

Honestly - such inconsistent service and antiquated software. They don't stick routine medicines - they tell you prescriptions are filled and then they are not. This is a TERRIBLE pharmacy. Turn around and go to Walgreens Now! read more

Hard to find the special k. But easy to find other stuff. Dry dog food infected with moths. Gross.

Been going here for 8 months for the same three prescriptions. I have been told to come back when things weren't ready, I have waited 45 minutes when told it will be ten, and four times now they have not have a pharmacist working during the pharmacy open hours meaning you just sit there waiting for a pharmacist show up. Could not recommend less. I did not want to bother my doctor to change where he called things in, but finally broke and asked him to. read more

The only reason I go is for the Thrifty ice cream. Other than that, proceed at your own risk. Usually 1 or 2 people working there with a line of 5+ deep. The layout of the store is a bit goofy. My last encounter I had a pretty funny conversation with the cashier. I was wearing an Arizona Wildcats t shirt and when it came time to pay she said "ok swipe your card, Wildcat". I said, "oh are you a Wildcat too?". She responds, "No, I'm nothing. I like baseball." read more

Went here for some thrifty ice cream with a friend and was treated like I was of no importance. 3 different fairly unhappy and unhelpful people "helped" us out, and the last had an obvious attitude which got worse when I asked for a tester, and then got even worse when I asked for a double scoop in a cup as if I wasn't allowed to have two. Horrible customer service. read more

Took the kid here a flu shot, wait in line (there's ALWAYS a long line here) file out forms...and THEN they tell me they don't have flu shot for kids. Wasted 45 minutes. read more

It's too bad this store always has everything I need for last minute emergencies. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!!! There's always one cashier and to make it worse the one cashier is RUDE, Whichever you get will be overwhelmed with a huge line of customers waiting. read more

It's not the best place to get customer service, lines are always long and I rarely find help on the floor. But it's right across the street from my home and it's convenient. Plus it offers Plenti rewards which makes it more enticing for me to continue to purchase my beauty and health needs here. Every so often they have amazing clearance tables... you can get really cheap vitamins/supplements and/or gifts. read more

The pharmacy never has your prescription ready no matter when you order it and salespeople are rude. Time to switch to CVS.

My husband and I are driving home from a long road trip and we both caught a cold. We're so excited to see that this store is open 24/7 so we can stop by and get some over the counter medicine so we can catch some well rested sleep tonight. read more

This store is beautiful. Well lit, but floors and everything was in place and very clean. If it weren't so out of the way I'd come here more often. read more

Modernized and revitalized. Attractive layout is much more inviting than in the past. I prefer it over cvs and Walgreen.

PHARMACY SUCKS! I called ahead to check on my Rx, they said 45 minutes. I wait an hour and a half just to play it safe- I arrive and they say " we're working on it, it will be another 15-20 minutes" Need I say more? read more

The pharmacy staff are always busy, but friendly. Called in my prescription early this morning, and even though I got there after the time the automated system had guessed it would be ready, it wasn't ready. They explained how busy they've been since last night. But they expedited it and filled it in a few minutes so I didn't have to go back. Great service! Thank you! read more
