I work in retail so I know it's realllly important to give customers your attention when you think they need it. I was never once greeted by anyone in the store. I made eye contact with several people, but they just ignored me. I was looking through the card section and found it to be REALLY disorganized. Granted it's a card section, but still; at least make it visually pleasing to the potential customer's eyes! Also, clean your floors! They're too dirty that I see spots on them. read more

Nothing special about this place. Located in the same plaza as Ace and Wholesome Choice - I've never had trouble finding parking in this lot, even on the weekend. read more

This place is getting 4 stars because it has ice cream! I go at least once every week. Tip: If you get the last scoop in the tub, that scoop is free! The only reason why I'm marking this place down is because a lot of the time the service is VERY slow. Sometimes there's only one person working both ice cream and the busy cashiers area. On those days, wait time takes forever. Still, they have the best drugstore makeup selection compared to the surrounding Albertsons and Ralph's. read more

This is the closest and only Rite Aid in the area surrounding UCI. I just moved to a house nearby and it' s a well located convenient-style pharmacy right next door. There's a lot of pluses such as proper prices in your everyday items and 24-hour operating hours but the best is possibly their tasty Thrifty brand ice cream. It's quite cheap but also quite good. At $1.69 a scoop, you really do get your full money's worth of ice cream happiness. This Rite Aid doesn't really have many negatives. Some things can be pretty pricey such as candy and actual food items but it's nothing out of the ordinary for Irvine. I think the most noticeable flaw is in its short staff during late hours. Sometimes you have to wait a bit too long to get service even though you are obviously the only person in the store. As for actual medicine, I don't know any of the pharmaceutical staff at all as I have no experience with them because I don't buy medications in the States. read more

Very close to the place I live, I go very often here. I like the way how the associate welcome and assist you to find what you need. Special thanks to Terry who is very friendly in assistance. read more

Clean floors, it's very organized but needs more man power to greet and meet. Lines are long but only one cashier. read more

This location just got remodeled about 2 years ago. It looks fantastic and the staff is real friendly. It is nice to see the same faces. I've used this location as my pharmacy for awhile since it's right across the street from where I live. Great pharmacy. The shelves are always stocked and they have never been sold out of anything that I needed. The only suggestion I have for them is to put some sanitary toilet seat sheets in the bathrooms. Women's bathroom didn't have them at all when I went to use the bathroom. read more

I might be just too observant, or hyperaware, but i have been followed around twice at this establishment. I don't know if it is because i am a young black person, but my white partner has never had to deal with it. Just a warning if you are a black person I guess and want to support fewer racist establishments. Just made me feel very uncomfortable and like i was targeted out of everyone else there. read more

Everyone is right, we all show up here for the ice cream. That, and it being open all the time and this is my last resort when I need to buy certain items during those late nights after work or dropping a friend off home. I really do like this location, but sadly not because of the cashiers. I actually feel very safe buying things at these late hours in this city, for some reason I just don't feel threatened. This is the reason for the rating, but outside of that I don't like the workers too much. I find them rude, extremely slow, but at late hours I really don't have much of an option. If the workers were replaced with nicer people I would feel better, this also includes the ice cream line that you have to wait forever to get anything from. It's the same workers who have been here several years, yet they're still not doing their job right. I miss the other workers they had, they never took so long or gave you a hard time, but I guess we're stuck with these people till then. read more

Pharmacy just not up to par. Either they are overworked or cannot handle their work load. The front needs to get it together. Maybe because this is a small pharmacy or what. Recently had to switch due to insurance reasons. Can say other pharmacy just got it done. Ever since transfer have had problems with prescriptions. Was told no more refills. Okay call doctor and get it done. Was told I need to call directly (my doctor) They called but haven't gotten a call back. I wasn't notified. This was after I had to go back in and find out directly. Told it takes too long for them to call and wait to find out about it. One girl told me she would be on the line for 30 minutes? Forgot isn't this what your pharmacy is supposed to do? Oh by the way got the doctors nurse to call back and send order in took about 10 minutes. read more

The cashier guy was either stoned af or mentally ill. He was super hyped but reacting very slowly. And he kept staring at me with his eyes almost pop out, and smiling horribly creepy to me. What the hell?? A little background check on your staffs will be nice I guess. read more

I use the Rite Aid in Yucca Valley, Ca, on 29 Palms Highway. They are all very nice people, that don't have a clue, never have your prescription ready when it's supposed to be, and are so understaffed, you're lucky if they ever pick up the phone. This store is run like an SNL skit. read more

All the cashiers and workers are really nice and friendly, so I always go here. But this April 8th, I went here and asked this pharmacist about one medicine, and he's like I don't go, go somewhere else, and rolling his eyes at me. He's a old man with glasses. I don't think he deserves working there. He doesn't even deserve to be a pharmacist. I don't even know why he's getting paid？？！！ Unbelievable. Anyway, other than this specific one are chill and friendly. read more

Hats off to the managers Ryan and David, aside from being very professional and super friendly they exceeded my expectation by the way they manage the store always very clean, stocked and organized. read more

I've been to a few pharmacies before but I think this pharmacy is the best. They are very professional during this pandemic. Thank you to the pharmacists here! read more

This store is one of the best I have ever been to, staff are super nice and helpful and I couldn't ask for more. The store is always very clean and stocked. Judy was the one to help me today, she's super friendly and helpful. Total satisfaction. read more

This Rite aid store was amazing. Super organized and friendly staff. Pharmacy had my prescription ready promptly. I will definitely return to this store. read more

After going to the other non-ice cream rite aid, I was directed here. First, parking is terrible. Not like, I have to walk far, but like, there are zero spots anywhere. I ended up parking illegally inn the back of the store, in a walking path. Second, the line was long, so I waited in it and when it was my turn, i asked them to help me and they told me the line was too long and i had to wait. So after waiting for everyone else who came in after me to check out, the same person I originally went to scooped my ice cream. And it wasn't even friendly service. And I'm sorry to report that the ice cream wasn't as good as I remembered. It was so soft, it was almost soupy. I think I'll stick with yogurtland if I have ice cream cravings in Irvine. read more

I always come here for my Blood Pressure Meds and everytime I leave feeling taken care and looked after by the wonderful pharmacy staff at this location. I enjoy coming here because I feel I am treated with respect and care. They are exceptional. Will be coming back for another 10 years. Thanks. read more

Yes, there's good bargains here but the customer service is absolutely terrible. If I could I would give them no stars on customer service. There's practically no customer service; the employees are very rude and ignore you. I just went in the other day and the employees I met were so stuck up and hate to say it but bitchy. I love the store but I'm definitely going to a different location because the people here make you feel uncomfortable and disrespected. read more

Was turned away for flu shot because pharmacy was too busy half an hour prior to closing. I understand it was busy and it was close to closing but I was there within posted business hours. Had I known ahead of time they would turn away customer within posted business hours I would have gone to a different pharmacy. I am posting here so other wouldn't waste a trip there. If you are an hour within closing don't bother coming here, chances are you won't be able to do anything besides a simple pick-up. (Pharmacy closes at 6pm on Sat-Sun) I went to Walgreens immediately afterwards and they served me with 10 minutes prior to closing, kudos to their customer service. read more

Great experience. Great service very helpful. We are very pleased . Thank you to all especially to pharmacy team.

I go to this store almost everyday in the morning. The store is always clean and stocked. Also super friendly associates. Judy usually helps me at the checkout she's really nice and always happy to help. Love shopping here, great store. read more

Holy Cow they really hook up the Ice cream here. First let me just say that rite aid aka therifty Ice Cream is the best. My gf and i usually just get one scoop and share it because one scoop here is really three scoops lol they really hook it up read more

I only come here for the ice cream, and each time the experience gets worse. Today there was an Indian gentleman behind the counter who was very unfriendly, gave me my ice cream with attitude, and the scoop was only 1.5 inch high from the cone--wtheck man! What happened to 4 inch scoops? With an abysmal scoop accompanied with said service, the prices should be getting lower, not higher. My encounters with all the employees here have been met with the same contemptuous attitude for the last few visits; I can only conclude that these are Walmart's rejects. Sigh. read more

The best thing about this place is the fact that it's open 24 hours. Which means ICE CREAM AT 3 IN THE MORNING! I've done it, multiple times. They usually give the amount equivalent to 1.5 scoops whenever I come here. That's right people, pile it on! This is one of the few places in Irvine open past.... ummm 9pm. Haha. Unless you want donuts at Donut Star on Jeffrey and Alton. But eff the donuts, I want my ice cream =). read more

I was standing in line to get some ice cream. The cashier served the two guys in front of me and then walked away, leaving me staring at the ice cream case in confusion. Ok, fine, so I needed ice cream like a fish needs a bicycle. I got in line to pay for the rest of my stuff. Then the same cashier sees me and says, "Oh, did you want ice cream?" No, not anymore I didn't. I can get better ice cream and better service down the road at Strickland's. read more

The staff that work there are so rude! I was shocked. I waited in front of the cashier checkout and asked one of the employees that I was ready. He pointed at another employee, who was an older tall man with glasses (might have been Indian) and looked at me an continue to do what he was doing. I was a bit confused on what was going on. He finally came over and helped. He was being rude the entire time and looked bothered that I even asked him to help. Jeez. If you hate your job so much, stop working there! I've met so many nice rite aid employees that would love to take your spot! read more

We bought a gift card and loaded with $25 and presented it to a child who had her birthday. To our dismay, we later found out from the parents that the card did not have the amount loaded and was declined in the store for which we bought. Since this never happened to the gift cards we bought anywhere else and also since it took about a month for us to come to know about this we did not have the receipt. So we went to the store and informed the person in charge of gift cards. Among many questions he asked one strange question which I have never heard before - "in which counter we made the transaction?" (which happened a month ago, can you believe it?!!) We showed him my bank statement for the transaction and were told that we will be called back since he has to contact some other department. It has been more than 10 days since then and we have NOT received any call from them. I feel that I got robbed of the money as well as undergo the disgrace we have faced with the friend to whom we gifted the card. This is VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am seriously thinking of changing my pharmacy also to a different one. read more

i LOVE rite aid. They always have SOOOO many bargains on almost everything!!! I look forward to the weekly circular in the mail to see whats on sale this time. i came around 7:30PM, and it was pretty much dead inside the store. i browsed the makeup aisles for at least 10-15 minutes, and no worker asked if i needed any help, which i would normally prefer, but tonight i wanted to ask if they had the limited edition wet n wild loose highlighter in stock. sadly, the two display slots for it were empty. i finally saw a worker walking down the aisle and led him to where the empty display was for the highlighters. i asked him if the store had any in stock in the back, but he just looked at me confused and asked what i wanted. i repeated myself and he still asked what i wanted. i pointed to the display and asked yet again. the worker looked at the two empty slots and just said "oh no more. these are empty so we have no more." i didn't want to bother him even though the store was dead and only had like one or two other people in it, so i just said ok. i would have appreciated if the worker would have at least checked the back to see if there were more products because he wasn't doing much else. i wouldn't come here again if i needed something in particular. read more

So who doesn't love chocolate malt krunch and mint chip Rite Aid ice cream!?!?!?! Just $2?!?!? Bomb! NOM TIME! Unfortunately, the mint chip had a real weak mint and way too many chips. I love 24 hr drug stores. Came here to pick up a bottle of henny, but what a disappointment. They only had the super small bottles left. But on a better note the cashier guy was super nice and funny. And they really really look at your ID. read more

Pharmacy customer service needs improvement. They can only handle payment collection. If you have any question out of routine, the response is out of tune. When attendants speak, you don't know if they are talking to you or just speak other worker. When I asked why for the same medicine I have to pay almost double the price, the answer is "ask your insurance". read more

Not great as a store. Long lines not enough front staff. I don't use this pharmacy so I cannot comment on that aspect of the store. Could use a facelift its a bit depressing but functional for otc meds or band aids. Generally more expensive than stores like target. read more

I love the girls at this pharmacy! The store has been recently updated too, making it a nice experience over all.

This Rite-Aid has a good selection of makeup and its clean unlike other Rite-Aid. And they also have ICE CREAM! Beware of the Birthday Cake ice cream, for some reason that ice cream is really soft at this Rite-Aid location. read more

I came here for the ice cream...and other quick necessities that I need. Rite aid is very convenient if you need ice cream or snacks and medicine and hair products and other things if you're running away or if you're drunk at 4 in the morning.
