This place is right off the trail. Popped in here because my friend from France Pierre said the best cycling recovery drink is Perrier! And it's also my favorite drink! And guess what? They have it here! I got the Perrier Lime. (Wished they still had the lemon one.) But here you have to pay the price for that level of recovery all the way from France on a hot day on the trail in Irvine: $2.63 Worth every penny! I powered it back to my car 8 more miles. They have ample polls to lock up your bike outside and you better do so! There were some suspicious people hanging outside smoking who I later saw pushing shopping carts from Ralphs on the trail. One guy was pushing a bicycle--don't let that be yours. Irvine today is not the Irvine of 10 years ago! Lock up! Anyway on the receipt it says "7-Eleven". But it does not say 7-Eleven on the front. It just says Food Mart. But as long as they have Cold Perrier they can call themselves anything--I don't care. Employees here were friendly and wished me well. I deeply regret my highly disappointing experience at this particular Rite Aid location. Today, I visited to pick up my medications, expecting all six of them to be ready for collection as previously indicated. Unfortunately, my regular Rite Aid near my home ceased operations, necessitating my reliance on this alternative branch. In stark contrast to the exceptional service I had enjoyed at my former pharmacy, I found the overall experience at this location to be distinctly unprofessional and argumentative. To my dismay, both the Pharmacist and Cashier completely ignored my presence for an extended period of ten minutes. When I finally attempted to engage with the Cashier by saying hello, I was met with a disapproving look and an argumentative response. She insisted on calling me when she deemed it convenient, and our interaction quickly escalated into an unnecessary disagreement. As a result of this profoundly unsatisfactory encounter, I have reached the decision to redirect my business elsewhere. The exceptional friendliness and efficiency that characterized my previous Rite Aid experience are sorely missed, and I seek a pharmacy that can meet my needs with the utmost professionalism and respect. read more

This review is really just as it pertains to their pharmacy. They earned this low review based on numerous experiences. Yes, their lines are often long. My issue is more that they send me update texts saying my prescription is ready, I get there and it isn't. This has happened more than once. Then, when a prescription needs to be renewed, they say they will call the doctor and...days later when I call they actually admit they haven't. I try again...same issue. It has taken me up to 5 days just to get the fax sent to the doctor. It is obvious they drop the ball. There's more, but I don't want to go on and on. You might try CVS? read more

I love the convenience of this drug store since it is so close to our home. It is defiantly very convenient to have with a infant in the house. The one thing I may add that can get frustrating at times are the long lines. There a a few local schools in the area and it seems like a hang out joint for kids. Half of the lines are for people waiting to pay for their ice cream. I don't understand why they don't hire more help. Other than that the overall experience is OK. Just be prepared that you might not be out of there as soon as you would like to be so set aside a good amount of time. read more
