I had my mom come in and order a pizza and wings, not only did she pay $47.52 just for these two items, but we did not receive our wings. I politely called and asked to speak to the manager, she gave me her name; Rebecca. I explained the situation to her and she said that it was basically our fault because my mom does not speak English and the person taking her order did not understand her, what I don't understand is how you misunderstood her asking for wings and instead gave her a salad. Rebecca refused to give me a refund on the salad that we did not want, horrible service. I work in the food industry and I have refunded many customers before, I don't understand why I couldn't get a refund myself. This place is extremely expensive, the pizza was dull, I got more dough than anything else and they threw all the vegetables on my pizza with zero care, I should've asked for a full refund (frankly, given the fact that she refused to give me a refund on just my wings I highly doubt I would've gotten a refund for lack words, a shit pizza). Avoid this place at all cost, your money is better spent at Pizza Hut, or the shittiest corner pizza. Now I'm from Montebello, but recently moved to the neighboring Pico Rivera - I'm not saying I bought this house because it was in close proximity to Rio's - but it didn't hurt either. Recently had a sweet sixteen party and was looking for a midnight snack. We came across this pizza place while my daughter was practicing for her swet sixteen dance and just fell in love with the pizza. We had asked if we could get it delivered but unfortunately the location closed at 10 and don't deliver. The staff ended up talking to the owner and agreed to have it delivered! The fact that the employee actually took the initiative and talk to the owner without me asking just speaks volumes. The owners came out and personally delivered the pizza nice and hot!! These were the absolute smallest wings I've ever seen in my life. If you're going to sell these, let people know or double the order to make up for it. Back in the day, this pup was an aspiring journalist. I found out about Rio's when there was a location next to ELAC in Monterey Park. For 20 years (human not dog) Rios has been a fave of mine. This location does not disappoint althought they have gone through some changes. Only cash. Pizza and wings are the only thing on the menu. The pizza itself has not changed and its still so good.
