With extensive vegan sides (pasta, wings, salads) and non-vegan options as well, this is a great place where family and friends (vegans and non-vegans) can each find something they like. Ordered ahead for pick up: an order of cheese sticks and a medium vegan pizza, one order of cauliflower wings and one order of regular wings. It was Super Bowl Sunday but the order only took 30 mins. The pizza shop is located in a small location within a larger plaza, so parking isn't an issue but there are only 2-3 booths inside to eat. I ordered online for takeout later in the afternoon. My pizza was ready on time. The staff was friendly and nice enough. Their ingredients are definitely fresh, and they were evenly distributed without going overboard. I added basil to my pizza, and they didn't go crazy with it, since it's a very bold herb. The volume of toppings to sauce ratio was good. The crust was on the thicker, bready side, but it was fluffy. I definitely didn't hate it since the amount of sauce and toppings balanced it out. My pizza's bottom did stick to the box but only 2 out of the 8 slices did. I got pizza for takeout so I can't expect it to be perfect and for it to steam a little in the box makes sense. A Pico Rivera native I know recommended this place to me. It was on my way home today and I wasn't making dinner so I had to pick something up for myself anyways. When I initially passed by it, I had missed it. Google maps said it was behind me, so I had to go back. It doesn't actually say pizza presto in the front , it only a sign that says "pizza" and it was really small. When I walked in, there was only two large booths and a counter to order take out. Was trying to come here 4.23.26 was so excited to try this place out. Arrived at 8:25pm to see the workers sweeping & chair on the booths and chatting it up. Came in and asked if they were still taking orders, the cashier in front said "sure, only if you don't take long to order or order large amount" and proceeded to talking to workers. But, why is it that when I order 10 wings, I only get 1 small side of sauce when I request the sauce on the side and get the same size of sauce when I order 5? Pizza Presto is located on the busy corridor that is Whittier Blvd in Pico Rivera, in a strip mall. As such, it's easy to miss. This establishment has room for two booths and one table outside so seating is limited but I have never found that to be an issue. This locale is small but the menu is inclusive with a lot of options for patrons who have different needs. Communication is key and there are a lot of signs to help a first time customer. Firstly, there is a vegan menu. There is also a regular menu. The vegan menu prices are a bit more than the regular menu prices but even Starbucks charges more for soy or other alternative "milks. Things are getting better in terms of vegan and vegetarian options but it's nice to have exclusively vegan options. While there, I was witness to the cook hand making the dough for the pizza, it's small touches like these that set a pizza parlor apart. I was with my brother who is not vegan or vegetarian and he had the Mexican pizza. He loved it. The proprietor understanding I'm a vegetarian, gave my brother vegan ranch for his mojos. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the gesture. They make their ranch dressing in-house and it can be bought in a larger quantity to take home. In the past, I've had the mushroom and olive pizza with regular cheese as I'm a vegetarian. I enjoyed it. I've also had the Philly Cheesesteak. I had the chick'n basil sub. The bread was crispy yet soft and it was good. It's nice to have something besides a cheese sandwich. The options allow me to expand my dining experience a bit more. Additionally, they have vegan desserts. This business seems very inclusive and should benefit from community support. The people who work at the restaurant are reserved, polite and respectful. This place is sooo good! My sister is vegan and this has become her go-to vegan pizza spot. The vegan ranch and cheese is delicious, all the veg toppings we have tried have had a great taste. The owner is so friendly and welcoming . They have some cozy seating inside and some few seats outside. I can't forget to mention they have vegan desserts. We got the tiramisu.
