My wife and I came to have a taco dinner and we were happy we chose this spot. Good food and quality tacos. Highly recommend.

Tried Tacos Y Que after seeing all the great Yelp reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the asada burrito, and it was solid--well-balanced, flavorful, and satisfying without being overly heavy. You can tell they pay attention to quality and execution. The shop itself is neat and clean, with a simple setup. Customer service was minimal but still friendly and efficient, which worked fine for me. The only small drawback was the beans in the burrito--I personally prefer refried over whole beans, but that's just a personal preference and didn't take away much from the overall experience. Overall, a great spot that's worth checking out if you're in the area. I'd definitely come back to try more items.

I ordered 2 asada tacos and they were the best tacos I've had in a long time. Edward was super cool too very hospitable. Clean kitchen and dining area. Definitely recommend

Stopped by here on Saturday morning and im so glad I finally came to give it a try. The employees were so nice and welcoming. I ordered the burrito without the syrup and the guy recommended I at least try it on the side. The grilled onions in the burrito gave it such a unique flavor and even more so with the syrup. It was surprisingly really good with the syrup and their assortment of salsa.

Asada Fries!! So good always fresh. Definitely reccomend.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was excited when I was in the area because I was able to finally try this place. Walking in you are greeted by the intoxicating aromas of the delicious food. The staff is very friendly, inviting, and helpful when you are indecisive because everything looks delicious. I opted for a mulita because it's a cross between a taco and quesadilla. Every single one I have had has always been different and unique so I couldn't wait to try this one. For the meat option, I chose carne asada because I wanted to check out the quality and flavor. It certainly did not disappoint because not only was the mulita packed with flavor, but the carne asada was meaty and delicious. I couldn't decide which salsa was better. Both the red and green salsas tasted great as is and on the mulita. Next time I definitely plan on trying the birria. The restaurant was clean. Prices are reasonable considering they give you plenty of meat and toppings. There is plenty of parking on the side of the restaurant if you don't find any in front. There are kiosks that you can order from. If one isn't working, the staff is kind enough to take your order. Overall, my tastebuds enjoyed this place and I look forward to my next visit! Thank you again!

Our son was hungry after the park and happened to walk into here, absolutely delicious! Great pricing and our son ate up the entire kids meal plate. He got the quesadilla with a side of rice beans and chicken. Absolutely loved it! Service was amazing and they had live music that day too!

"They just hit different " Restaurant quality meets street tacos - this spot is a must try! Me and my fiancé tried this place on a random Saturday night after seeing them on instagram, now we found a new favorite taco spot in Whittier. We tried the asada tacos, which were amazing with the guacamole. The birria tacos were amazing! I just wish I had a side of consume to dip it in but it was still very juicy. BUT the al pastor stole the show. Both the taco and quesadilla were equally delicious! The rice and beans were okay I'd take the beans over the rice but we're here for tacos. You pay what you get for! Tacos with MEAT! Is it more expensive than a street taco? Yes! But you're in a well lit building with AC and a table to eat at. If you ever been to puesto in Irvine the flavor of the meats are very similar just with more meat and cheaper price. Over all great service the cashier was able to help us order and she was very patient with us! She even brought our food directly to our table!

Story time, so I had an hour to spend while waiting for an appointment. Walked into this restaurant by mistake. The owner is chit chatting with a customer before me while I browse the menu and is super friendly. Don't worry about reading the menu because the owner will help you decide based on your preferences. But if you choose to, the menu is super easy to read and not complicated. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Service is fantastic and friendly. Here's the banger, the food is crazy good. I got shrimp tacos and this vegetarian cheese and bean taco and it was better than how it was explained to me. High recommendation. Sorry didn't get good pictures of everything due to excitement. Oh P.S. ask for extra napkins because you're gonna be salivating excessively. And P.S.S. I actually almost cried after the first bite. Are you still reading this? GO HERE

    Are there gluten free options?

I think so. They do keto style tacos.

Mushroom tacos are now available. Request no cheese, pero they asked us if we still wanted the cheese.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

The chips went well with the beans but it was overall a great dish with a nice big portion. Pina Agua Fresca - They give you a huge cup, they even put the leftover in a to go cup and it lasted all day! It was delicious and fresh.
