The flavors were on point, the meat was well-seasoned, and everything came together perfectly. Honestly, it's one of the best burritos I've had in the area. The shop itself is small, but it has a very authentic feel that adds to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. It was my first time visiting today and I came because I wanted to see if the raving reviews were legitimate. Well, they absolutely were! These ladies are cooking up a delicious storm here. I tried the enchilada plate with mole, and a chile relleno à la cart, with a cup of coffee. The coffee came first and I already knew this place was going to be a step up. The coffee was strong with good body. It wasn't the typical weak cup of coffee that might as well be water. After a little milk and sugar it was perfecto! Then the food arrived! It was all plated beautifully. My eyes definitely had the first bite. I always try the beans first when I try new places. For me, the beans set the stage for what to expect from the rest of the meal. To my delight, the beans were very good. They were seasoned really well and had great flavor. They were bland, or watery, or burnt or anything. Beautiful beans. Now the rice...it was great too! Again, great flavor and texture. They were soggy or bland. Great, beans and rice passed the test. Now for this mole...again! Also delicious! This mole tasted like they make it in house. The flavors weren't typical of store bought. I the chicken mole enchiladas were great. Lastly, is the chile relleno. It had chunks of tender veggies like tomato and bell peppers. The cheese was melted and oozing. When I tasted it I knew they invest in quality cheese. It also had a nice flavor. I think a lot of places use really cheap cheese and you can't even taste it. The salsa, chile, thick egg breading and cheese was all perfect. I am going to return to try the menudo. So happy I came here! It's definitely a new go-to when I'm craving Mexican. read more

Don't waste your time!!! I went over there to check it out the other day and was extremely disappointed. The burritos we ordered were loaded with salt!! I took it to go, so didn't know until I got home. I was very disappointed in that place. I had high hopes only to be let down! Do NOT go there you will be disappointed. Came this Weds and had the special which was a burrito, and drink for $11.99. Great deal. They do have specials all week. Service was good and lady was really nice. Just had a delicious bowl of menudo (only available in the weekends) with carne and nervio!! It was delicious and very clean. Comes with some really big handmade tortillas that were so good with the menudo. I also ordered a taco de tripa and I told them I wanted the tripa crispy and it didn't disappoint!!!
