Vida Pura Cafe is seriously an East LA gem. The team here is so kind, welcoming, and just has the best energy. You can feel it the second you walk in, and it made the whole experience even better. I tried their best-selling breakfast burrito and wow... it lives up to the hype. It's loaded, full of flavor, and everything just works together. You can tell they know exactly what they're doing. I also got the Teddy Bear Matcha and that was a perfect add-on. Super smooth, not too sweet, and honestly gone in seconds. Everything was so good I finished it all in under 15 minutes This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend.

On my drive down from LAX to Palm Springs we found this place to eat. We had no idea it was vegan until we arrived but everything on the menu sounds so good so we gave it a try. Anytime my husband approves a vegan spot. You know it's good and he definitely approved of the delicious burrito we had. The coffee was amazing. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be stopping by.

I wanted to see what the hype was about, so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Banana Nut Latte and my boyfriend got the Teddy Bear Latte. Between the two, the Teddy Bear Latte was definitely the better choice. The banana flavor in mine was very subtle--almost nonexistent--and mostly tasted like regular coffee with sweet milk. Customer service was good, especially considering how busy they were when we went. The shop itself is pretty small though, so there isn't much room to stand around or hang out inside. Overall, it was an okay experience. If I happened to be in the area and needed coffee, I'd stop by again, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it.

The best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted in my life!!!! I also ordered the teddy bear latte! Yummy! I finished it fast haha maybe because there was cold foam. I'll definitely be back! Great service nice workers!

Vida Pura is cozy small coffee shop in East L.A. on Ford Blvd and Ceasar Chavez Blvd next to Panaderia La Flama. My wife and I came to our coffee addictive minds in peace and also a wake calll. This small popular coffee shop ssrve traditional and signatures coffee and drinks including non coffee drinks also serve matcha drinks. They also have a very limited menu they serve overnight chai oats and chia pudding, almond butter toast and breakfast burrito and breakfast muffin sandwich. We try their banana nut drink first we notice there's a banana chip in our drinks,we both tasted we kind mixed feeling about the drink first we shake and stir the drinks then we can tasted the banana flavor in the drink we enjoy it very but needs more flavors to be more appealing. The staff of Vida Pura were very friendly, plight and also a smile and support their business in the community.

So here's another well thought out coffee spot in the heart of ELA worth visiting, and, it's next to the best Mexican bakery (that review is another page.) It was great to see the locals come together and enjoy espressos, matchas, and more. I had the cafe de olla with a soy chorizo burrito and, they were smooth :) I mean, when the texture of the food is warm, and soft to chew along with a flavor that is delicious, well it's an experience. Service was great and the spot allows for comfy sitting. Will return :)

What a nice little coffee spot! This a vegan coffee shop, with oat milk being standard for all of their coffee drinks. The food is all vegan as well. The shop itself is small, allowing only a couple of customers to be inside comfortably at once. There are little benches in and outside to wait for your drinks and food, but no seating for eating, working, etc. While there's no dedicated parking lot for their shop, there is a little parking lot right across the street and street parking within walking distance. The staff were so friendly and the order came out quickly. The banana nut latte was so good - the cold foam was definitely the star! The burrito was a little plain on its own, but with the salsa they included, it was so good!

Back at it again, I love it here. Banana Matcha with a shot of espresso just do it. For food I usually get the burrito or torta. As always delicious!

One of my cousins recommended this spot to me. She's been a fan since their food truck days, and now they've opened their own coffee shop! This little hole-in-the-wall coffee spot is so cute and stylish. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I mentioned it was my first time, and the cashier was super kind. She pointed out their most popular drinks and asked about my preferences. I decided to try the Teddy Bear Latte. The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell they put real care into the details. The flavor was smooth and balanced nothing over the top, just genuinely good quality coffee at a fair price. Definitely recommend checking it out and supporting this great local business!

This spot is right next to my favorite bakery La Fama which makes the best conchas. The drinks are always quality & delicious. The strawberry matcha is nice & earthy with notes of strawberry & agave. I've tried the teddy matcha latte which is 10/10. The staff are super friendly & open to questions. The only downside is the parking which can be limited to the street section on the side which can sometimes be occupied by the mechanics machinery. Overall , a nice spot for a yummy matcha or iced coffee. They also have various pastries or breakfast items that I'm yet to try.

Vida Pura is one of my favorite vegan spots in LA! The drinks are good, creative, and consistent. The food, despite being limited in options, is always good and fresh too. They have a small selection of vegan pasties and desserts too. Parking is easy to find - there are parking lots across the street and down the block.

Vida Pura was such a chic little stop. The coffee was amazing, and the vegan burritos were actually so good flavorful, fresh, and not giving bland health food at all. Everything tasted really well made, and the whole place had that elevated, feel-good vibe that makes you want to sit there a little longer. Definitely the kind of spot that feels cute and worth coming back to.

What a delight to see a new Latina-owned cafe in Boyle Heights. This sister duo opened up Vida Pura back in March after being inspired by their parent's food truck business. Upon first glance you see a minimalist exterior (the dark green awning and painted cafe name along with the subtitle Breakfast Coffee Matcha - straight to the point and effective business branding, indeed) but once you enter you see a modern design and local residents enjoying a hot cafecito or one of their signature iced lattes - my favorite was their gingerbread cookie latte! Yes, they carefully place each gingerbread cookie on the top of a dreamy cloud of cream floating over your delicious iced drink. Though I didn't try their food items, I look forward to returning soon. For those match lovers, I (and I'm sure a lot of cafe owners) hate to disappoint you but due to high demand and low supplies there is a delay in shipments. Until then, enjoy the rest of their menu. Cheers!

I loved all the greens and pita to wrap the pork and goodies into! We ended with a bday scoop of mango sticky ice cream which was completely different than I've had before and yummy.

The standouts were the green beans, the Brussels sprouts that came with the chicken, the pork shank and the tuna and crunchy quinoa salad. I'm still thinking of that crunchy quinoa. We had no room for dessert. So maybe next time we try the goat curry, get the quinoa salad again and get dessert! The service was great too. Attentive but not overbearing.
