Honey Pistachio latte, Toffee Nut latte
Kimberly D.

I stopped by Angelo Coffee a few months ago to do some vacation planning. This intimate cafe has street parking and offers delicious coffee along with some pastries. We ordered two coffees and a pastry which were all great! They have a handful of tables inside and a couple right outside the shop. They even have the most adorable book nook if you're not interested in getting some work done! Staff is kind, welcoming, and patient. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5

Im sorry my coffee was not it . Bitterness not taste nothing like toffee nut. .. I could only taste the espresso n whole milk with no flavor. I'm a coffee lover and I know when coffee it's good.. I'm reading the yelp reviews and amazed how everyone is writing nothing but good reviews . Yall is lying

Pretty good spot. Very cute, clean and hip. Service is warm and welcoming. I've noticed similar shops popping up in the area and I fear they are catering to the tik tok crowd so they lean towards more style over substance. Hey, if it pays the bills more power to you!! Drinks are decent but the coffee bean quality is mid. Definitely has potential, piques my interest. For that reason, I would definitely come back.

Little quaint coffee shop in East LA, where you can get your work done and enjoy some good coffee. The baristas here were super friendly and patient when we were deciding on our drinks. Limited amount of seating and parking can be found on the street. Would definitely come back if i'm around the area.

Banana Cream Latte

Super delicious drink! The banana tasted natural and the combination with the coffee was just so yummy! Staff was super friendly and quick as well. Cute little coffee place to try!

Ventured out of my norm ( East Los) to get coffee as I was in Monterrey Park and only minutes away. The location is small and cute. Service was good and fast. They have a variety of options. I went with the strawberries and cream latte and jalapeño and cheese crescent. The barista was fast, as it was basically ready the moment I finished paying. It was pretty good, it tasted like a strawberry and banana latte. The crescent was good too. Recommend if you are in the area.

Chai latte

I came here for a networking mixer event and had a great time. I applaud the intentional location for this coffee spot in the thick of Boyle Heights. The Latino community loves coffee and it makes me happy that we have a place to call our own. The place is bigger inside than you would think with plenty of places to sit. As much as I wanted to give it 5 stars based off the vibe and ambience alone, the chai latte that I ordered was slightly lacking. I don't know if it was too much ice that they poured in it but it just wasn't quite there as far as presence of the spice and fullness of taste. I'll order something else next time that perhaps I will enjoy more than the chai latte I ordered.

I truly wanted to love this place and unfortunately, I just didn't. I ordered a hot vanilla latte, lower on the sweet side and unfortunately when I took my first sip, it was just so sweet. I had to save it for when I got home and added another shot of espresso to balance it out. Can't complain about the service, it was very straightforward. The ambiance is quite nice. There are plenty of tables with outlets and there is a cute reading nook.

Went today and service was great even after it was busy. But that's always a good thing. The jalapeño croissant is delicious. Drinks were also delicious. Need to come back and try more drinks. Ambiance is was even better. Felt cozy.

New hidden coffee shop blocks away from my home discovered while walking! First off the atmosphere of this cafe is so cute and well designed. Ample space and has tables if you want to work from here. Service was really fast and they were nice . I'm usually not a coffee drinker but the strawberry and cream latte caught my eye! Asked for it decaf and actually really enjoyed it! Great taste and very sweet! Close by so will def come again. Let's support our women owned businesses !!!

Beware of parallel street parking. Tons of parking on weekdays. There are outdated parking meters throughout but they aren't enforcing/ not in use. For reference; for both Ditman Ave. &Townsend Ave. Street sweeping (No Parking) is from 8am-12pm on Wed on one side and Thurs on the other side. Outside of street sweeping time it's 2 hour limited free parking between 7am-6pm except Sunday. For 1st St, Street sweeping (No Parking) is between 5-8am on certain days. Outside of street sweeping time it's 1 hour limited free parking between 7am-6pm except Sunday. Staff here is so sweet and personable. Great spot for a work from café, study sessions, coffee date or just meeting up with friends to catch up. At the entrance they converted the nooks into reading nooks seems pretty cozy with pillows, I'm sure you can bring your own blanket if you wanted. They also carry Homeboy Bakery items. If you don't know, Homeboy Bakery employees are formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, seeking to transform their lives. Go support this local coffee shop! Alternative milk option is no additional charge here. They offer Whole, Almond, Oat and Soy Milk! Strawberry Matcha Latte -matcha base with a strawberry cream top. I opted to have my matcha less sweet as the strawberry cream top is already sweetened. Came out perfect! Banana Cream Latte -coffee was good paired well with the banana cream top, crushed vanilla wafer cookies added just the right amount of texture.

We LOVE a Latina owned small business! The shop is always full with people studying or discussing the chisme. Iced Vanilla with Cold Foam is the best in my opinion

10/10! This strawberry matcha was so good that it left me craving more. It was not overwhelming with sweetness and made perfectly. This was my first time visiting Anhelo, and the service was also warm and inviting. Great location for a study sesh or a coffee date!

So much care and intention woven into this place. On weekends you can feel the energy of people moving through from opening to closing. Today I needed a little more sweetness in my life, so I ordered the iced Mazapán oat milk latte with peanut butter foam -- magic -- alongside the Tamales de Mole, a weekend-only special. The sweet balanced the savory perfectly. Pansa llena, corazón contento. The flavor profile caters to a range of palates. My partner went for the Oaxacan Mocha oat milk latte -- also highly recommend the Cacao de Mi Corazón smoothie and the Spanish Latte. Know that every drink is made to order, crafted with intention. The bold, richness of the coffee stood out on the Café Del Dia, and the Latte De La Barrio was delicious. I also liked the traditional clay mugs in which they were served.
