Was lucky enough to find street parking right next to the shop on a weekday. The inside is large, spacious, and was surprisingly packed when we got there. Service was fine. Got the matcha einspanner and strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Both drinks were pretty good (strong matcha flavor) ~ price on the higher end. Would come back if I'm in the area though!

Beautiful warehouse style cafe and has lots of seating which is perfect for working or relaxing! The matcha was excellent, you can taste the quality of the matcha here, rich and perfect in flavor! Will definitely be back when I come to LA.

First time here. Opens late for a coffee shop in my opinion. Parking is tricky in this area. Amazing vibes inside. Friendly staff. Very cleans. Tons of space to sit and work. Noisy but not too loud to concentrate. Great drinks. A little pricey, but made well. Recommend and would return.

Damo is great. And this new location is so nice and spacious, lots of seating. The customer service is on point and the drinks are great. I opted for an Einspanner which had the perfect creamy foam top. The espresso give my match the perfect punch. One of the best matchas for sure.

10, 10, 10s across the board! I was doing PT around the corner and stopped in for a latte with a friend and it was DIVINE! The spot is serene, the vibes were lovely, and the staff was kind! The lattes were even better! We did the cold brew with vanilla cream too and an oatmilk einspanner latte with cream top. Loved that there's different seating areas and options and saw a few outlets. Parking was an adventure but in the arts district it often is they have a discount code for the lot across from it. Will def be back!

Damo has arguably some of my favorite matcha in LA! I usually frequent their Ktown location, but lately I've been loving their Arts District location - it's so spacious and has plenty of seating and free wifi. The space itself has a modern, peaceful, and elegant vibe. I most recently got the matcha einspanner (less sweet) but subbed it with strawberry cream and oh boy this is one delicious drink! I love the strawberry matcha combination, and their matcha is consistently good quality. I've also gotten their hojicha einspanner and it's delicious too! Parking is street parking (which can be a bit of a challenge) or a paid lot across the street.

Food/Drinks: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance: 9/10 so this is a new location for Damo and honestly because I saw so many Instagram posts about how great the macho was. I was really excited for it. It wasn't bad but for me personally the Matcha profile wasn't my favorite but overall, I think the café was really nice. I've had Tom before in their OG location and there. Coffee is really good. This new location though is really big and comparison to the one in Ktown, so it's a nice place to get work done especially because they have a big table in the middle of the café where a lot of people can sit down and get work done together. Just a little disappointed on the Matcha, but it is a deep taste and I am willing to come back again.

    Strawberry matcha

Their drinks are always the best, especially the matcha bc that is what I always get from there. I got to try their hojicha cream top on top of my matcha latte. Their matcha color is always on point and all matcha places should make their matcha like this colorthey have their own restroom for customers that is also clean. And very spacious and aesthetically pleasing as always

This is the 2nd Damo location and the original Damo location is located in Koreatown. DAMO is one of many modern and trendy coffee and tea spots that focuses on einspener drinks. [Parking]: There's a parking structure across the store for $5 per hour. Otherwise free street parking is the next best option, but visitors will probably need to circle around the neighborhood. I found a free street parking spot near Mateo St & E 4th Pl (on the bridge). [Atmosphere]: This location is a lot more spacious than the flagship shop in Koreatown ... and yet all tables were still occupied on Saturday afternoon. Sleek and modern interior decor. [Menu]: Their best selling drinks are any of their matcha drinks - Matcha Latte, Matcha Einspanner, and Strawberry Matcha Latte. Unfortunately their signature da-gwa (assorted Korean traditional snacks) was still not available and that was a sign stating "coming soon" as of January 2026. *** Hojicha Einspener (iced hojicha tea + hojicha cream - $7): It was a light and refreshing drink. The drink was a bit watery, but I could still taste hojicha flavor. *** Personally Hojicha Einspener didn't taste as good as Matcha Einspener. The only plus I see for this location is bigger space ... free parking didn't get easier, da-gwa was not available at this location (yet), and all tables were stationed by customers who are here to study. Great vibe for a coffee date or hanging out with friends, but I see this spot as more of a grab-and-go shop during busy hours with nothing interesting to see in the surrounding blocks (Arts District has always been a hit-and-miss area).

This was my first time trying this location. I ordered the matcha einspanner- the matcha flavor was strong and I really enjoyed it. However, while I was drinking it, I found a small piece of wood in my drink. I'm guessing it may have come from the wooden whisk used to prepare the matcha. It was a bit concerning, but I wanted to share my experience.

    Amy A.

Perfectly smooth, rich and earthy matcha. Not the kind that is bitter, the kind that is made with love. Fast service, handful of people there chatting or studying. Wide space, could easily get some work done. Would definitely return.

Loved the rustic and minimalist design - plenty of seating and trendy decor to photograph your drink against. Service was quick and we all received our orders within 5 min. I liked how thick and creamy the matcha was, but the aftertaste was a bit too astringent for my taste. If you enjoy strong, not too sweet matcha lattes, Damo is for you!

Aesthetic cafe in the Arts District, but was a bit disappointed with how my drink turned out since I had a good experience at the Ktown location. I got the Hojicha Einspanner and it was decent. The best part was the Hojicha cream top which was creamy and flavorful. However, the Hojicha drink itself was too watery for my liking. Even mixed with the cream it was still too watery. Would've liked more Hojicha flavor. Interior is big and spacious. Great for big groups. There's also WiFi and outlets. Parking is street parking only. I think I would visit again, but probably order something else.

Unfortunately, I came on a weird day after several private events in a row, and the only "big bite" item they had was the beef noodle soup. It was decent, but not extraordinary. The soup was brothy (not thick), flavorful, but a little sweet. The beef was a bit drier than I liked. The portion was ok. I also had the iced guava oolong. It was refreshing, but you really cannot taste the tea. They are inside a courtyard across the street from Phoenix Bakery. It may be somewhat tricky to find if you're looking for a standalone storefront on the street. There is metered street parking but I later found out that the building has its own parking. Overall, a nice place. But I wouldn't come here specifically for their beef noodle soup. You get better in the SGV.

Matcha Cream Top ($7.75)-- I looooove me a nice and thick cream top and this place does it amazingly. It's thick and perfectly sweetened and doesn't melt with the drink/ice. It stays perfectly thick and still and above the matcha unless you mix it in. The matcha is also really nice and rich. None of the bland or grassy taste. Just genuine good matcha! Chocolate Forest ($7.75)-- Basically same as above but the cream on top tastes like Milo/Ovaltine mixed in. It's a nice and sweet nostalgic taste. Not a hint of bitterness so if you want mocha/dark chocolate this is not the one for you. It's more happy kid hot chocolate vibes. The little tea shop sits in a small strip and was the only establishment opened on a Sunday evening. This made for easy parking but I couldn't help but feel that the location was a bit eerie. Orders are made via tablet or directly with a staffer at the register. The menu lists: milk teas, specialty teas, tea slushees, lattes, and coffee. Drinks are customizable when it comes to sweetness level. Purchases: *ORIGINAL THAI- regular size, 30% sweetened *JASMINE MILK TEA- large size, 50% sweetened *YUZU GREEN TEA- regular size, 30% sweetened The yuzu green tea was fantastic. This was the perfect item to satisfy my thirst. This was not only deliciously refreshing but the agar jelly balls were so enjoyable. The original Thai tea set at 30% sweetener was perfect- it had the best punch of tea flavor with the subtle sweetness that balanced the bold spice profiles. The worst buy was 100% jasmine milk tea. This literally tasted like sugar water. At 50% sweetness level, I could not imagine what 100% default would be. This cup literally tasted like condensed milk poured over ice. 3 stars overall. It is so unfortunate how ChaTraMue has clear signage of them standing by their products and guaranteeing customer satisfaction only for our simple request for more tea [to offset the sickenly sweet cup] to be denied. The gentleman at the bar said the only option was to go and purchase another drink. BRAVO!! The customer service here is unmatched and the guarantee policy only applies to certain situations?????

How is that community building? For what, just tea? No other refreshments and limited arts supplies & seating. And the time it takes to get the tea made - people rush to get refills and so there never was enough. I don't know why they can't use bigger tea pots. And there's just one bathroom, if I recollect. While it is spacious, I think there're ADA concerns of getting into the bathroom due to initial stairs I believe they oversold the event too, so it felt like we were packed into such a limited space, almost sitting on top of one another. Had my extroverted friend not wanted to be here, I would never have stayed for the duration I did. There's barely any seating if there are groups who come and take up space; the entire space barely has any ventilation and they run incense sticks & aroma therapy, makign it extremely hard to breath after an hour. The air purifiers were on red the entire time, but not a single employee did anything, even when it was pointed out. All the shoes were off - which is great - but then you have a fire hazard right by the door because there's literally not enough shoe storage space, so shoes were all over the floor too. You're absolutely better off going to a small business coffee shop where there're pastries & drinks available, with more space & better ventilation.

The smoked salmon sandwich was probably my favorite of the savory bites. The desserts were pretty, sweet, and fit the whimsical princess tea-room aesthetic well. Nothing was overly adventurous or fusion-y, but everything felt thoughtfully prepared for an elevated afternoon tea experience. The portions were surprisingly filling by the end too! Price: Rose & Blanc is one of the more approachable afternoon tea experiences in Los Angeles. Their standard tea service starts around $38 per person, while the more elaborate tea set runs about $50 per person and includes additional stuff. Given how expensive high tea can get around LA, the pricing feels fairly reasonable, especially for special occasions like birthdays, bridal showers, or catching up with friends. Ambiance: The ambiance is probably the biggest draw here. The entire space is decorated in soft baby pink with floral accents, chandeliers, vintage-inspired décor, and elegant table settings. It feels feminine, charming (not tacky at all!) and intentionally designed for celebrations, and of course Instagram photos. Despite being located upstairs in a bustling Koreatown plaza, once you're inside it feels surprisingly cozy and transported from the busy city outside. Service: Service was friendly and attentive throughout the tea service. Staff checked in regularly, explained the tea sets, and kept things moving at a comfortable pace without making us feel rushed. Since tea service is reservation-based and served during designated seating times, everything felt organized and structured. Most servers spoke both English and Korean yay Parking: Parking is easier than expected for ktown. There's a self-parking structure available in the building, though spaces can fill up quickly during popular tea times and special events. The photobooth was fun but we were so thrown off by it taking 8 photos, we had no idea how many poses we would have to come up with hahaha. I would definitely come back here anytime!

After dinner last night, we were discussing where to go for a second round, and one of my friends…read morerecommended this place. So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.

Was craving some late-night boba and was glad 3CAT was open! I tried the Mochi Barley Burst (less…read moresweet), and it was so yummy. It's a black milk tea with soft mochi topping and a barley popping boba, which make for such a fun texture! I love anything mochi, so this drink was perfect! You order at one of the kiosks, and service is pretty fast. There's limited seating, but it feels more like a grab-and-go boba spot. There's also a parking lot attached to the plaza, which is convenient, although it seems like it can get pretty busy during peak hours.

Boba Upgraded! The Mochi Barley Burst Is an Absolute Must-Try…read more 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage has become one of my new favorite boba spots! This is a tea-forward spot that makes all ingredients and toppings fresh from scratch daily. Their most well-known unique topping is the barley popping boba. They use a real-chewy highland barley grain that gives off a nutty, earthy and milkdly sweet pop that makes for a unique texture. The fan-favorite drink is the Mochi Barley Burst which pairs a floral black milk tea with the popping barley and fresh handcrafted mochi. The tea does not have any artificial syrups and uses an organic milk with a bold tea base. The handcrafted mochi is super fun to have with the popping barley because it is pillowy and velvety. Make sure to mix it well together, so you can enjoy the whole drink for all its features. I like the ambiance of the shop. It's a smaller shop with some seating area. You order your drink at the self-service station. There's quite a few staff working to make the drinks, so we got our drinks in less than 10 minutes. I adore 3CAT and I would highly recommend visiting if you haven't already!
