Very good pizza. Love the sauce and the dough. I called in to place the order. The service was fast. It's a small mom and pop pizzeria. If you pay with cash, It's cheaper ( credit card companies charge business owners extra fee). Lots of parking. The Deluxe and Hawaiian pizza that I ordered were delicious!

Buffalo chicken pizza

Super tasty with the perfect kick of spice! The buffalo chicken had great flavor--not too overpowering--and paired really well with the toppings. But honestly, the star of the show was the dough... soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Definitely one I'd order again!

Delicious food, the crust was really bomb and it was incredibly cheesy. Will definitely be going back and it is a must try!!!

My sister-in-law and her husband brought our family here for dinner, and everything was amazing!…read moreThey've been coming here for about two years, and now I understand why. The mashed potatoes were incredibly soft, creamy, and full of flavor. We ordered the Margherita pizza and a cheese pizza for the kids, and both were delicious. The pizzas were cooked in a wood-fired brick oven, and you could really taste the difference. The carbonara was one of my favorite dishes. It came with an egg yolk on top that you mix into the pasta, making it rich, creamy, and flavorful. The lobster linguine was another standout dish. We also ordered the pork wings, which were so tender they practically fell off the bone and were served over delicious mashed potatoes. The mushroom ravioli was unique, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also shared the ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly and was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What really made the experience special was the service. The owner regularly stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was good, and everyone working there was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and every dish tasted like it was made with care and love. This was one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time, and we'll definitely be back!

We were seated right away, and the place already had quite a few people dining inside. The experience started a little off for me when ordering. I asked for the spaghetti carbonara with added chicken, and was told no because it already came with bacon. I understood that, but I still wanted to add chicken. I then asked if I could order the penne pasta dish with chicken but substitute a different pasta since I'm not a fan of penne, and again was told no. I've been to plenty of restaurants that don't allow certain substitutions, but simply adding chicken seemed like a reasonable request, especially since I didn't mind paying extra for it. It just felt a little strange being told no to every option. That said, the other staff members were attentive and provided good service throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is casual and had a steady crowd while we were there. I also noticed the entire staff working that night appeared to be male, just an observation. The food itself was really good. The baby greens salad, pasta dish, and chicken portobello were all very flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, I left with mixed feelings because the food was solid, but the ordering experience could have been more accommodating. Still, I would recommend giving this place a try because the food definitely delivers.

When i paid they told me that there was a charge for using a credit card. So i ordered a large chicken buffalo ranch and paid like $43 i felt like that was a bit overpriced. Let's talk about the pizza i felt like the dough was overly stretched and it the topping weight was not proportional to the dough which was regular crust. The taste and toppings of the pizza were good but i wish the crust was toasted better from the bottom or maybe the toppings on top made the pizza soggy from the bottom. Im not sure. Overall not totally impressed with the price of the pizza to the taste.

We would occasionally split an order only to realize we should've gotten our own because they were that good. Fast forward some years, I returned to get a grinder sandwich. I was so excited to sink my teeth into the crispy crust, fresh lettuce, thick cut tomatoes, layers of meat, the generous amount of mayo. Their sandwiches were exactly the way the business owner and other customers have posted photos about. I was so disappointed. The lettuce was sprinkled on like they were rationing it. And they were really wilted. There were probably 2 or 3 slices of meat layered on. I had to hunt for the tomato slices. At least the bread was still crusty and the mayo was still generous. Otherwise, I was so let down. Again, it's been years since I've had their sandwiches, but there's no way quality has gone down this bad. At least their calzone looked the same.

Recently, my son and I have been making pizzas on Friday nights as a bonding experience while my wife is out with friends. We make some, buy one, and compare. My son usually prefers his homemade, but Petrillo's is the exception! He loved the cheesy cheese pizza and the amazing cheese pull. I ordered half cheese and half their specialty pizza, which includes mozzarella, Romano cheese, house tomato sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Their small pizza is 12 inches and has 8 slices, which is much larger than other places. Petrillo's Specialty Pizza is stacked with generous toppings and has a doughy but crispy bottom - the best of both worlds. I enjoyed the Specialty pizza, especially the Italian sausage. While I'm not a mushroom fan, I ate them anyway. I'll likely hold off on mushrooms next time. They provide generous amounts of complimentary crushed red pepper packets, paper plates, and napkins. Parmesan cheese packets cost extra, about $0.50 each, if I remember correctly. The staff were friendly and are local residents, which is always great to see in a mom-and-pop business. You can eat in or order from the take-out counter on the right side. It's best to order ahead to avoid a 20-25 minute wait. My only minor complaint was the pizza was a bit sloppy when I took a picture, but I understand they're busy getting orders out. I will definitely be back to Petrillo's for pizza!

We were greeted by the host and waited about 2-3 minutes to be seated. There were around 4 or 5 tables that were already seated and/or eating. Setting: typical western restaurant with booths and tables. Quite dark inside. We were sat at a booth but the seats had a bunch of residual bread crumbs on them. We had to ask a waiter/busboy to clean off the seats for us. Food: This restaurant is known for their pizza so we ordered their signature pizza to share. We also ordered the fried zucchini appetizer and the spaghetti bolognese which came with a side (Minestrone soup) There was complimentary bread and butter for the table - it was soft and fluffy on the inside and had a nice crust. But it came out cold. Would have been better if it was warmed up. Fried zucchini: well breaded, came with ranch. Portion size was ok, not too big but not too little either. But quite expensive at $11 for an appetizer that did not WOW the table. Minestrone Soup: average, quite salty, given it is early in the evening, the soup should not be this salty whereas the end of the day usually means the soup has been reduced and concentrated by warming/simmering. Spaghetti Bolognese: plenty of meat in the sauce and pretty tasty as well; but the biggest flaw was that the spaghetti was way overcooked. Huge negative for an Italian restaurant - the base/pasta of your dishes should be perfect and this was far from Al dente. Petrillo Signature Pizza: loaded with toppings, they did not cheap out with the toppings and pretty tasty as well; however, another big flaw was that the dough was dry and dense - the dough did not rise. The yeast in the dough was either non-existent or was not given enough time to rise and create the fluffy dough and crust texture of a typical pizza. We basically got dense flatbread. As this was the signature pizza, it was quite disappointing. Service: Average, nothing great. The servers came by a couple times only after the food came out. Could have really stopped by a couple more time to check in. Rating: 2 stars Review summary is based on mainly food quality as the quality of the food, attention to detail, and execution all was very subpar. Given the kitchen was not super busy on a Saturday evening, the poor quality leaves much to desire.
