The chicken was juicy and tender, and the spaghetti was cooked perfectly. I try not to eat sweets, so I took the Pizookie to go and gave it to my next door neighbor. Do not get the chicken wings, especially the lemon pepper. It's literally to die for - like actually you would die from food poisoning. I've been burping and farting nonstop. It's not gonna make you wanna do anything after. The Chino location is way better and I did not feel like this with that location but this location is just not it. Its a vibe. Went in on a hot day- the AC was blasting, the Dodgers were playing, UFC was on. Multiple TVs mounted for 360 viewing in the dining area. Cool music on the jukebox. Pizza was perfectly crispy, soft and cheesy. Service A+ (sorry I forgot her name). A few arcade games keeping my daughter happy (shoutout to the clawmachine that you can keep playing until you win a prize). The beer, frosty. Everything seemed clean, updated and modern. Purchased a single pepperoni slice of pizza... absolutely disappointed. The slice was hard as a rock and tasted like cardboard. I used to love their pizza growing up but after that experience I'd have to give them a hard pass... I remember their pizza moist, chewy and loaded with cheese and an amazing crust growing up, but sadly it lacked everything. I hope it was an isolated incident. We moved MARCELA in 2019 and I've been wanting to come to this place because every time I search pizzeria comes up as BJ's pizzeria but I always think oh BJ's like BJ's and brewhouse at the mall... But that's not this BJ's. I'm not sure if this BJ's was here first or after the other BJ's, but I will tell you this I've been wanting to come here a long time and it did not disappoint. We went on Friday and our experience was terrible. The server was not very hospitable. We had to keep flagging him down to ask him to bring items we had already asked him to bring. At one point he even ignored us. When my sister asked for a to go cup of iced tea he brought a paper cup and poured her tea which was maybe half a cup. Geez I have gone to Dennys and the server gave me a full cup of fresh tea. I don't like to be so negative and I will only say his name begins with an "M". The food was very good, but we will not go to BJ's in Montebello anytime soon. read more

A great neighborhood find, when your pizza craving hits stop by here you will not be disappointed, the food, the cool ambience, and impeccable customer service will not disappoint. I've stopped by on 2 separate occasions and each time was worth it. They have pizza, sub sandwiches, wings, wedges and salad, beer in tap and in bottles. We've had jalapeno poppers, pizza, salads the only thing I haven't tried was dessert but the cakes look yummy. It has a neighborhood feel and everyone is welcoming. Was craving pizza after a long day at work and decided to give this place a try. The pizza was sooo fresh and the bread was delicious, like fresh bread from a bakery. My wife and I went there on Saturday. It has been over two years since we visited since we don't live in the area. We were pleased that the quality and flavor of the food continued. I love onions on my pizza and they add just the right amount... IMHO. I also like the flavor of their meats, they keep me coming back slice after slice. We were also pleased that they have been able to maintain the same level of service. The folks at this pizzeria were always friendly and helpful. They certainly didn't dissappoint this time around. The location does not offer outdoor seating, but indoor seating is well spaced. The menu offers a few variety of choices beyond pizza such as wing and subs. Nice stop for lunch as they offer good lunch specials. Ordered the #3 which is slice of pizza, salami and a drink. Service was friendly and food was brought out fairly quickly. I would have rated higher if the meal had a little more flare to the flavor. Still a good stop. read more
