Fruit Revolution is a small local juicer, smoothie and sandwich shop in East LA. They offer a wide variety of healthy drinks and food at a very reasonable price. It's interior decor was very humbling and modest like mom and pops. They have two tables inside and one table outside. I had a veggie sandwich x side of salad and a veggie fruit juice. Both were healthy and taste good. Atmosphere was chill with a Spanish music background. Prices were fair. Hispanic female staff were competent. Street parking only. Overall, it's a decent juice and sandwich spot. I just like supporting local hispanic businesses. I recommend this shop. read more

Great food all around for a rainy day in L.A. Looked them up while we were in the area for an audition. Since they had good yelp reviews we gave them a try. They have a good assortment of healthy food on their menu. We had a sweet crepe and a savory veggie and cheese one. So unbelievably delicious for an affordable price. The ingredients tasted so fresh. We also shared a healthy immunity juice. The prices for the juices are great too. And the ladies helping me were super sweet and nice. And fast. We were starving. My husband and I came to Fruit Revolution 4x within one week - that's how much we loved it! We've only tried the juices so far but plan to try the sandwiches and salads next time. Since we're trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into our diet, juicing seems like a great way to get those colors in. We appreciate that the juices have many options and varieties, depending on what you're looking for and how sweet you want the juice to be (number of veggies vs fruits). The two employees are always so friendly and kind and are willing to offer their recommendations. They've said that once we make our way through all the juices, he can create a new juice for us. We also appreciate how much juice we get - no ice! - for $8 for the jumbo size. When else would I eat 3 celery sticks?? The store is clean and well-maintained with a few tables. Was weirdly craving a green juice, but most smoothie shops add lots of extra sugar and/or the juice itself is primarily fruit rather than veggies Unfortunately, I don't have a juicer so I couldn't make my own. So I came to the closest place near me that sells juice and all I can say is WOW! The people in here are extremely kind and nice and the service is quick. Inside the ambiance is just a generic establishment, but we are not here for that, we are here for the juice/smoothies. After golfing at Topgolf, we wanted a light lunch so we decided to give fruit revolution a try. We got their Cobb sandwich and berry smoothie. One thing, We were amazed by their costs! This is a cute little easy-to-miss hole in the wall. The food was super delicious. I ordered a tuna salad while my friend ordered grilled chicken, and they were packed with ingredients. I also ordered the Athens juice which contains just celery, carrots, and parsley but wow was it flavorful. I opted for some of the healthier choices I could find on the menu, but I can only imagine how their other juices and sandwiches taste. Make sure to not park in the alley behind the place. I had a really delicious lunch here! I ordered delivery and got their popular chicken chipotle sandwich and a side of their fruit parfait. The sandwich was still warm when it was delivered. And it was delicious! It has a hint of spice and it was full of avocado. The side salad it came with comprised of mixed greens, a few croutons, and a raspberry vinaigrette. The dressing wasn't too sweet. I thought the portions were just right. The fruit parfait was amazing! It had various fruits topped with my choice of yogurt and honey (there are 4 combinations of toppings to choose from on DoorDash). I like to end my meals on a slightly sweet note and this parfait did just that. The meal was made pretty quickly considering Google showed that they were very busy and it was delivered on time. Wow!!! $8 for jumbo 32oz size fresh juice!!!! Smoothies are fruit and ice based so it's dairy free/vegan, except for their pina colada drink that has dairy. No sugar added. Located near Montebello's Quiet Canyon, not far from east LA. I was looking for a freshly made anti-inflammatory drink like rau ma (pennywort) but that is served only in the summer by only Vietnamese shops. Many Chinese shops no longer make fresh juice drinks the traditional way anymore. And I'm not into the big chain Jamba, Juice It Up, etc stores. Small local shops tend to hand pick and care about their produce more, and of course wayyyy more affordable. Just reminds me of Mexico and Asia areas with tons of easy access juice stands around. I tend to try to look for safe anti-inflammatory food, or drinks when I'm inflamed. Just normal part of chronic illness/autoimmunity, low immunity life. So it was an amazing to find this place that actually label juice as medicine. Many cultures see food as medicine....salmon, tendons or collegen items for strengthening joints, carrots for eyes, beets for blood circulation, etc. Great to see they label juices for different matters... cholesterol, flu, weight, diabetes, headache, energy, etc. Can't pick? Had a customer of mine choose this place for lunch this week. I went along with them and chose the chipotle chicken sandwich. I shared some of it with my teenage son when I got home. It was so freaking delicious. My son who can be very picky about what is on his sandwich said it was the best sandwich he has ever eaten. Sauce, avocado, lettuce and all.
