    French toast and English muffin!

Wanted to try this place out even though I didn't work in the buildings nearby. First time I dropped by, the folks at the desk were so nice and friendly. I appreciated that they wanted to have a conversation with me. I called ahead for a cafe panini and it was fantastic. I loved the crispy toast and it was a perfect combination for me. Will drop by to try other items!

I was in the area on a weekday and decided to stop by before work to grab a coffee. I went at around 8:30 AM and it was busy with many folks doing work. After looking at the menu, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to get given the selection! I asked for a recommendation between drinks and they mentioned if I want a hot drink - Miso White would be good; for a cold drink - Lychee Tonic would be ideal. It was a hotter day, so I opted for the Lychee Tonic. Since it was busy, the wait was ~ 10 minutes for the drink. After giving it a try, it tasted refreshing but I didn't really get the lychee taste. Not the best first impression with the tonic. However, I'd still consider coming back considering their ambience. Also absolutely interested to try their pour over options! Parking is available in the back of the building. American Express is accepted here.

I quickly realized I had seen this on my social media feed and had put it on my "want to try " list. The parking .... They only have street parking from what I noticed and it's a main street ...Cesar Chavez so I had to park about a block away. I looked on yelp and their individual cakes looked delish and I really wanted a coffee. I chose to get the coffee cake, the tiramisu, each $7 and a slice of cheesecake $5 and their new coco puffs cold brew cafe de olla with vanilla cold foam 20oz. = $7. Unfortunately, the coffee cake and tiramisu were too dry and didn't have much flavor.... The whipped cream was soft and fluffy, but also not much flavor.... Both of them had whipped cream.... Unfortunately, I was really excited. I wanted to have a nice coffee cake, but this is not it. At least not the slices I got. The cheese cheesecake was good and tasty, but not out of this world. So I wouldn't go back to this bakery just for these cakes. The iced coffee, though that was delicious.!!! really tasty not too sweet and my only complaint is that my cup was too small. I should've ordered the bigger size~ they have 3 sizes and I got the 20oz (med). I felt like there was more ice and coco puffs than coffee and I wanted more coffee. lol I really like the amount of cocoa puffs and ice was the normal amount so I'm not complaining about that lol but I just wanted more coffee! The service was nice Sorry I forgot to take pics I would say to try this place out for yourselves.... I noticed that before I got there, two ladies had walked about a block to get there. We're chitchatting having fun and placed the order and they sat outside on the little umbrella, cupboard patio chair chairs and we're having their cafecito and chisme time and seemed to really enjoy it. Like I said it's a a cute place. And they do have a lot of choices like keto ones so who knows you might find something that you enjoy there.

It's a wonderful spot to study as long as you get there early. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the drinks are consistently made fresh and served piping hot. There's also a solid variety of food options to choose from. I've had the chance to try a few items: the Dubai chocolate mochi (4/5), the breakfast burrito (4/5), and the breakfast sliders (5/5). The sliders are especially good--kind of like a stacked sandwich with egg, sauces, and jam that all come together really well. My go-to drink is the Bori Cano, which is my current seasonal favorite. It's a unique mix w cream top over an Americano, with barley tea on the bottom. It's perfect for keeping me going during long study sessions. I'm really glad to have a place like this in Monterey Park where I can settle in and get work done. Their register wasn't working so everyone had to pay in Zelle or Venmo, including exact change in cash. The guy was welcoming and recommended me to try the Kimchi Musubi Croissant and the Garlic Cheese Bread since this was my first time here. I ordered their popular Honey Bori Latte in almond milk ($1 extra) with less sweetness and the Kimchi Musubi Croissant, which you can request to heat it up. The Bori latte didn't have much honey flavor and a bit watery, but I liked the puff rice topping that made it unique. Kimchi Musubi croissant was flaky and flavorful, but I wish they added more kimchi since it was more like eating a spam croissant. Overall, I'm glad I came here early before I left Monterey Park. It was less crowded an hour after opening and I like their 90s rnb playlist. I even love their cute mascot sticker.
