Don't come here often but when we do .... Boy it's so so good! Got the lunch special, large slice, salad and drink. Fills me up. Didn't have too much time but our food was up and ready pretty quick so we ended up having a good time and not having to rush.

We called in our order on a Saturday. We ordered two large pizzas, one cheese and one Ambrose Combo. Total was $53. Food was ready on time and was hot and fresh. Service was not the friendliest. A bit overpriced IMO.

Every time I'd finish sweating it out at the gym next door, that giant red "Ambrose Pizza" sign would taunt me as I trudged to my car. Pizza?! who doesn't crave that cheesy perfection after a workout? The temptation built like a slow burn, until one evening.... I caved! I ordered a large margherita pizza and buffalo wings, picturing the surprise on my wife's face, the kid's excitement, and yeah, satisfying my own growling stomach. The drive home was torture... the aroma teased me from the passenger seat, promising glory.. We gathered around the box like kids at Christmas, ripping into slices with greedy abandon. But ten seconds in, bites half-chewed, we locked eyes--eyebrows arched in shared horror. Flavorless... Utterly bland dough.. toppings that tasted like regrets. The wings saved the 1 star review, packing heat and tang, and the ranch being the savior. Being with my wife who makes sourdough bread, mistakes happen and sometimes salt is forgotten, maybe one day I will try again and the pizza will have flavor, maybe one day.. 2/5 stars: very disappointed.

We stopped by for lunch during the week recently and found Ambrose Pizza to be very welcoming. It was also very busy! The ambiance is right up my alley too reminiscent of how Shakey's Pizza used to look in the 80's. To save time we were encouraged to order online right from our seats in the restaurant. I ordered a turkey sandwich and drink and it was ready quickly. The turkey was fresh and the bread was fresh as well. Reasonable prices too. I'll be back for pizza soon! Plenty of parking outside. Enjoy your visit!

Not sure if Ambrose is under new ownership or the original cooks are gone, but this pizza is absolutely terrible. The dough is flavorless, it used to be thick but with a nice crunch on the bottom, that's all gone. The veggie pizza used to be one of my favorites, fresh vegetables (onion, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes) on top of the gooey melted cheese. Now it's a mess and doesn't even look appetizing. I miss the old Ambrose pizza, if this is the pizza they're going to be making going forward, it's time to find a new pizza spot.

Whole heartedly a love and bias for Ambrose. Take that in consideration for why I gave my experience a 5 start. Because I love their food, their location. We Wifey and I can here for lunch. I wanted a sandwich and was thinking of those other joints. She suggested Ambrose and boy was she right. We both had the Italian Club. Ok you may argue too much lettuce, not enough meat. I say opposite. Love the thing sliced lettuce. The meats in the sandwich are plentiful and tasty. But the star and it has been for decades is the bread. The right composition of softness in the crust , firm middle and wonderful taste. The bread recipe is regional treasure. The staff has changed in 20 plus years but service still makes this feel like a local hangout. Keep going Ambrose I will keep being a loyal fan.

When you walk in you feel like you're in old school pizzeria. The staff is on the ball and attentive. I met the proprietor of this place Alonzo. He was totally involved with his pizza making operation. Never had pastrami pizza. Everyone should try it; pizza was great. We will be back.

Melontini (4/5) - This drink was spirit forward and came with a cute melon ball on the side. I slightly wish it was a little fruitier. Wagyu meatballs (5/5) - the appetizer came with three medium-sized Wagyu meatballs on pieces of garlic toast. The meatballs were delicious and a great starter to our meal. Caesar salad (4/5) - this was your classic Caesar salad that accompanied our pasta perfectly. Fried zucchini (5/5) - I love that the zucchini was sliced and crispy. The breading to zucchini ratio was perfect and paired perfect perfectly with a marinara sauce. Short rib pappardelle (5/5) - this pasta dish was the absolute highlight of our meal. In order comes with two servings, which is more than enough pasta for a second meal for two people. The short rib was flavorful and tender, and the Alfredo sauce and fresh pasta were amazing. Cannoli (4/5) - the cannoli was a simple way to top off our delicious Italian meal. I like that on one end there were chocolate chips and the other end there was pistachio.

Well, that time FINALLY came! My sister and I were hanging out reminiscing over our late mother together, on her birthday and decided to get Italian food (her favorite). We both agreed Four Bricks would be THE SPOT! Needless to say, we were so right! We were greeted and sat with no reservation at around 4:30pm, thankfully there was no wait at that time. However, the restaurant quickly filled up. Our server was very attentive but not over bearing. For our appetizer, we chose bruschetta. 12/10 The perfectly dressed tomatoes and basil sat on a pillowy burrata cloud and melted in your mouth. YUMMMM!! I opted for the penne ala vodka, while she chose the bolognese. 10/10 The penne w/vodka sauce had a surprising hint of spice that was decadent and savory. The bolognese had a slightly creamier taste without the spice and was equally as flavorful. Finally, we ordered the lemon butter cake. 10/10 When I tell you this cake was delicious ... woahhh!! It was a nice crisp butter cake but the lemon zest paired with the coulis and fruit gave the perfect balance. We were told the restaurant would be closing and that it was the final day of service. Made us both bummed to hear since the hospitality and true Italian food with homemade pasta was such a delight. Impeccable place overall! The food is consistently tasty and plentiful. I've tried the pastas but my go to meal is a big bowl of Minestrone soup, salad with Italian dressing and to die for garlic bread. I try to eat more plant based, and the soup is chock full of delicious vegetables - I think Vinny said eighteen different kinds - and just enough ditalini pasta to satisfy my pasta craving without blowing my diet. There's a hint of hotness to it, just enough to set it apart from the chain restaurants. I don't like vegetables very much, but I know they are really good for me, so Vinny's Minestrone was a terrific find. For my cheat day, about once a month I splurge on Patsy's Tiramisu. I think she said the recipe came from Vinny's Mom. It is worth every decadent calorie. The fluffy whipped cream is light yet rich, sweet but not too sweet, just the perfect amount of wonderfulness that dessert should be, and sadly, often isn't. Finally, I have to mention the people that work there. I don't know exactly what goes on in the kitchen, but my food is always fast, abundant, and hot - unless it's supposed to be cold. I'll repeat the word delicious here, because it is. So Vinny and his kitchen team are A+. The servers are great. Leti and Laurie greet me by name, with big smiles. They remember my preferences. They are never too busy to call out thank-you and have a great day when I leave. Patsy, the owner, is often on the floor serving, too, and she has gone out of her way to check-in with me and ask after my well-being. I appreciate their kindness, which is ever-present during slow, and busy times of the day. Vinny's is not fancy, but it's warm and homey, and yes, here's that word again: delicious. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The spaghetti bolognese was delicious! The pasta was al dente and the meat sauce chef's kiss. They also provided some complimentary warm French bread which me and my husband shamelessly devoured 2 baskets before our meal. Ambiance was gorgeous! They have outdoor seating with a small fountain and flowers by the entrance. It was beautiful. Service was..good..but not great. Now let me tell you why. Hostess and server were very kind. HOWEVER. It took our server 30 min to get our drinks. The restaurant only had 1 big party, a couple, and us. Was not packed at all. (I have personal experience with restaurant management so I completely understand how chaotic restauarants can get.) So here is my complaint.. our server came back 3 times to ask what we ordered even though I saw her write stuff down. Then she forgot our drinks at the bar and we saw them standing there. She grabbed them 30 minutes later explaining she has a big party but served us warm alcohol. At least offer to get us new ones for waiting 30 min and not the old ones you left sitting out. You know? Who likes warm champagne?! I still took a deep breath and tried to give her patience because she was an older server and was very kind. I just wish she didn't spend her whole shift coming back to us to explain why she's taking so long instead of taking that time she's talking to us, to grab what we ordered. When we try to flag her down for something she forgets, she's standing around talking to another server for a good 10 min. Just came off unprofessional and turned me off a bit..to complain to a couple trying to celebrate their anniversary. Will come back for the food and ambiance. I shall ask for a different server next time. (Sorry).
