My wife ordered her pizza at 6:41pm. The app and subsequent email stated the the pizza would be ready by 7:02pm. We asked her mother to pick up the pizza since she was in the area and coming back to our house. When she got there at 6:57pm, she was told by the staff at the store that the pizza was not ready yet. Furthermore, she observed that the staff had just started to make the pizza when she overheard one staff member say to the other "the is the order for Veronica". My mother-in-law waited an extra 10 minutes beyond the stated pick up time before finally addressing the staff. She asked to see the manager, to which the girl at the counter deflected by saying "This is your pizza. It is not ready" and gestured to the oven. My mother-in-law inquired further as to when the pizza was actually made, and the same girl responded "Well, we were very busy and this is how we conduct business." My mother-in-law then asked why this was not communicated sooner to her, and another staff member chimed in and said "communicate what?!" At this point, she had to leave because she was also bringing supplies back home for my wife who is taking care of our sick 2 year old. When I learned of this incident, I then had to leave my wife and go get the pizza myself. I was able to get the pizza, but when the staff at the store heard who I was picking up the pizza for, they both watched me walk back to my car from inside the store, as if I had just caused a scene. This whole situation was extremely unprofessional, and caused undo stress and aggrevation on our family. Unfortunately, however, this place is the only pizza place near us that serves up dairy free ingredients. My wife cannot have dairy due to a medical condition, and therefore we are forced to order from here when we want to have pizza together as a family. I hope that the staff gets, at the very least, a verbal reprimand for poor customer service, and at the most is retrained on how to "conduct business". Update: It has since to our attention that the non-dairy cheese ingredient that was specifically requested for this pizza was NOT used. My wife has been ill since the early hours in the morning today (2/22/26). Her symptoms are congruent with ingesting dairy products. My order was taken by a worker name, Maria she was very rude and unprofessional through the whole process she made us feel rushed and annoyed by having to assist. Unfortunately, once we got our food, we found a hair in our pizza. I walked over to the counter and Maria was the one available. She walked over to the table and was questioning us about it. My grands love this place so we come a couple times a month. The kids working are mostly friendly and hard working. The problem is there isn't usually enough of them. Today, 2/15, 2 young guys were working out front. Probably 7-10 people in line. We needed to pull together five tables to accommodate sitting together and as we were about to leave one employee asked if we could move the tables back into position so it would not be left up to her to do her job. This place is for in case you like thin crust and a variety of possible sauces cheeses and toppings. All pizza sizes are the same standard. No small/medium/large. Size available looks like about "medium". This place offers the BEST pizza for some people. Many negative reviews done on here. I've not experienced much of those troubles. The preparers do skimp a bit on some of the toppings but just asking for more as you go seems to accomplish the person to give more. I finally tried this place. It appears to be similar concept to blaze. They have a rewards system if you download their app. The pizzas are personal size pizzas and someone can easily finish a whole pizza depending on their appetite. Essentially they make a pizza for someone in person then online then in person etc. so there were literally 7 pizzas in line in front of us. When it was finally our turn they the allowed another customer to cut in line in front of us because they lost his order. It would be have still been tolerable except after that person they put three more pizzas from online orders in front of us again. When it was finally our turn we told them we wanted the 2 for 20 deal and order one 11inch thin and one 7 inch. To add insult to injury it wasn't until the very end after all the pizzas were assembled that they told us the 7 inch didn't qualify for the discount. Not at the beginning when they had every opportunity to clarify. The staff told us she heard us tell the other staff it we wanted 2 for 20 and that he didn't clarify. He didn't and neither did she. We wanted to be considerate of the people behind us and didn't reorder but this was the worst experience of so many things going wrong. Imagine there were only two people in front of you in line but you waited a good half hour+ to even order your pizza. I had a disappointing experience at Pieology today. When I walked in, there was no one in line and only one employee visible. She didn't greet me or even acknowledge me--just looked at me and continued what she was doing. I waited around 10 minutes until another worker came out from the back (possibly from the restroom) and said she'd be right with me. She began making my pizza and asked if I wanted Monterey Jack cheese. I said yes, and also asked if she could add fresh Parmesan. She reached for the grated kind, so I politely clarified that I meant the freshly shaved Parmesan that's usually used on the salads. She immediately snapped, "We don't shave the Parmesan here. It's not fresh." Her tone was condescending and unnecessary. I didn't want to go back and forth, so I just let it go--but her attitude didn't stop there. Throughout the rest of the order, she seemed annoyed and was noticeably rude while asking about my toppings. When she handed me my food, I asked for her name and she said it was Diane. I've been to this location several times and have encountered Diane before--unfortunately, she's consistently rude and unprofessional. If this is the service being offered, something needs to change.
