Pretty disappointed in this. Second time they've given me burnt pizza. Hopefully they see this and adjust the oven.

I remember when pizza was a $1.00 a slice how time flies and pizza by the slice is so expensive now. I was hungry and was looking to get a slice of pizza and I know Tony's sells it that way and by the pie if you want that route. You walk in and they have several types to choose from and today I got the ham and pineapple and it was so cheesy the way I like it. The second was the margarita which was saucy and thin crust. It was good too but I'd definitely go back to get the ham and pineapple next time around. The server was helpful and since I got the combo I opted for a soda instead of two garlic knots. They have a good amount of seats inside or if you choose outside seating they also have but no heating lamps especially now since it's cold. Soda is refillable if you dine in. They also have pastas and other items on the menu. They have ample parking for this establishment.

    Left overs. So yummy

So delicious. I gave them a 5 star for the best pizza and sauce in the area! I happened to be on this side of town running errands and I was having people over for pizza! I'd been here before but I had their Alfredo Fetti!! That was very good. The sauce was creamy and the flavor was smooth and not salty! It didn't dry up and clump like some other places. This time I ordered pizza and wings! Let me tell you, if you haven't tried Tony's you don't know what you're missing. You come for a slice of a pie!! It takes about 25 minutes and you're be greater with a smile and top notch service. We ordered an xl pepperoni and mushroom, the pepperoni was good and not greasy, the mushrooms were fresh and the pizza was littered with them. So good! The second pizza was a medium pepperoni and pineapple, my great nieces favorite. They should name this pizza the Melanie!! The wings come 10 to an order, were not over cooked and they were a good size. I think they were a little bigger than the local HH pollo leg lol. No joke a photo was posted to their review ! Overall this was a good meal that cost about 61. As I said I encourage you to try them and I promise you'll be back or your taste buds are damaged Parking can be an issue. A lot of places near by. Plenty of room inside for a small group. Super friendly staff! Thanks I truly enjoyed this meal!

I have been going to Tony's Pizza ever since I was a little kid, when it was located inside the Whittwood Mall. I am about to turn 40, so that tells you something. I absolutely love this place. The pizza is fantastic. The 2 that stick out to me are the pizza Bianca and the BBQ chicken pizza. It beats any other BBQ chicken pizza Ive ever had. If you are a fan of ricotta cheese, you gotta try the Bianca. Service is always pleasant. It is fast food type seating, and there are also tables to enjoy outside. I now live in OC, but will sometimes drive to Whittier to pick up some amazing pizzas for my family.

BBQ Chicken Pizza (Medium 14 ") - They made it with marinara AND BBQ sauce (ew) and also forgot the onions so threw them on raw.

First time- has potential, but too many mistakes were made. Our garlic knots were burnt and the BBQ chicken pizza was made with both marinara AND BBQ sauce (ew) and they forgot the onions so threw them on raw. Regular pepperoni pizza was the only item not messed up in the order.

There are barely any toppings on this pizza.

I used to love this place. Been going for years. The dough is still tasty, but they've cheaped out so badly on so many things that it just makes me mad to eat their pizza now--and that ain't right. Pizza should bring joy! The crust is so thin in the middle now that it can't support the sauce and cheese anymore and just tears away. It's literally thin enough to see light through. It's pretty much dough again because it's so wet. Seriously, there's no excuse for that. And the toppings! There were maaaaybe 3 whole mushrooms on my large tonight. Pepperonis were 2" away from each other. This is crap the discount chains used to pull. This isn't the first time, either. I used to order XLs until they got super thin in the middle. I noticed that larges were still fine, so I got those instead. Now, it looks like they're embarrassingly skimpy too. Easily 3 of my last 5 pizzas here have been incredibly disappointing.

Sauce is ok, the mozzarella sticks were ok
    Ava L.

Ordered through door dash. Mozzarella sticks were ok. The sauce was sadly very watery and a little flavorless. We ended up buying some sauce from an Italian restaurant to dip it in, and it helped a lot. The good thing was, it came with a lot of pieces. The pizza is ok too. This is our first time eating cannoli, and it was our favorite of the night! The breading is nice n crunchy and the filling was sweet and soft.

They seem very busy with online orders and pickups. Which is a good sign. You can order by the slice or a whole pizza which is what I did. The vibe is very New York. Come to find out that the owner is Italian. I saw him walk out as I was waiting and when I walked out heard him speaking in Italian with customers who were dining outside. I did enjoyed my food.

Ordered the uptown special the perfect blend of vegetables, cheese, marinara sauce, and meat. I was told it would take about 35 minutes but trust me as soon as I've been in that pizza I don't even remember how long it took all I know I went straight to heaven. This pizza is delicious. They have so many others to try but they also offer sandwiches here. Parking is good and I don't regret a single second stop by or even find out if you can call Dean but when you bite into it, you'll feel the same sensation I did... Wow, somebody found a way to serve heaven in a Pizza.

Before Uptown Pizza Co. existed, this was the location of much loved but much misunderstood…read moreLamppost Pizza, which was(/is?) a chain in name and logo only--I believe every single Lamppost location was franchised. I know this one was. I'm not going to bore or bedazzle or befuddle or bedraggle you with (too many) stories of Uptown Whittier's Lamppost Pizza, mostly because most of those stories are my brother's and his friends' and his former coworkers' (sometimes the same people) stories to tell. I'll only mention Big Frank (RIP) and Tim and Jason and Louie ("Yeah!" "yeah!")--yes, that Louie (RIP). But Lamppost is in Uptown Pizza Co.'s DNA, or at least Big Frank's special, super secret sauce is baked into the walls of this place's pizza oven, because all these years and decades later, the pizza from Uptown Pizza Co. tastes very similar to the pizza from Lamppost Pizza in the 1980s and 1990s, which is to say that it's very good. "But John S.," you're probably shouting from your easy chair, "if the owner(s) of Uptown Pizza Co. bought the business from Big Frank, then he probably gave the owner(s) his recipe!" And there, my dear, intrepid, and sadly all too impressionable readers, you would be dead wrong. Frank never shared his recipe with anyone. Not with Tim (his most trusted manager), not with his two sons (whom he hoped would take over the business), and not even with his wife. It was such a secret that Frank refused to make the sauce at the pizza place, lest someone should see him and reverse engineer the recipe by sight. No, he assembled the sauce packets on the kitchen table in his house on Mollyknoll Avenue way on the eastern side of Whitter, loaded the packets into his truck, and brought them to work each day. Perhaps unknowingly, Uptown Pizza Co. pays a kind of perverse homage to Big Frank's secretive sauce packets by giving away its Parmesan cheese in little plastic dime bags. The pizza is very good. Every time my brother is in town and we're talking about ordering pizza, he's the first to volunteer to drive all the way to Uptown to pick it up. If these walls could talk, they'd get an R-rating for bad language alone. And don't even get me started on what transpired in the alley behind the pizza shop. I don't even want to know the truth.

The sauce, the cheese, the wood fire cooking, the crust! Everything was phenomenal. This spot is so easy to miss. Inside the old bank in uptown Whittier. Her staff were with smiles and happy to answer my questions about the menu. Truthfully, this pizza hits the tone for anyone who truly has had pizza from Napoli.
