Waited to write a review till I had tried multiple times and boy they deliver every time! First off and #1 for me, their employees deliver the pizza so it's always hot and handled right unlike 3rd party groups. For the crusts. Thick crust is THICK, not my style, but super good dough. Load it up with toppings cause it'll handle it. Regular crust is still too thick for my liking, again high quality dough. Thin crust is perfect for us and our style. Ingredients are all super fresh, loaded up. I've tried 4-5 different pizzas and ingredients are always top notch. pastrami was my favorite and just tried that last night. Sandwiches, salads and wings do not disappoint either. Wings are oven baked. I've only tried the Buffalo flavor, but have ordered them almost every time. Side salad is a great value and fresh. My wife ordered a sandwich last night for the first time. The guy called us to tell us they were out of a certain meat and offered refund or other option. Opted for the roast beef and cheese, and it was great too! Loaded with meat and good ingredients. This is the only pizza spot we have been getting delivered in the last month and a half. Tried J's Pizza for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised! I had a medium pepperoni pizza delivered which came out to $16. I'd say that is very reasonably priced. The pizza was solid and reminded of something I would get at Lamppost or Pepz pizza. The highlight for me was the thick chewy crust. Ordered Pep Pizza, wings, pastrami Sandwhich and wedges. I was a little dissapointed at the small amount of pastrami, but what got me was that the pastrami was Gray. J's is low key some of the best pizza around. Pappy's used to be my go to in La Habra, but since they sold their store, J's has been my go to. They have some great appetizers to start out with. The cheese bread is delish. They offer a good quality ranch dressing as well. I've tried a few of their specialty pizzas and I would say that you may want to just stick w the basics. If you are a fan of pepperoni and cheese then that is what I would recommend the most. The Mexican pizza I ordered was lacking that special something I was hoping for. I would recommend they maybe add cilantro, some pico, and some cotija on top to finish it off. And instead of the straight marinara a nice spicy ranchero sauce or maybe even a chicken mole would be nice. I just think they could have a lot more fun with it and really make it a signature item that could get a lot of locals interested in it. But like I said, their standard pizza is definitely too notch and I will continue going here religiously. They are good at getting pizzas out fast and affordable. I was tired of these franchise pizza chains and wanted to find a local, family owned pizza restaurant so I can support their business during these tough times. I found J's on Yelp, called and the manager/owner? answered all my questions kindly, and took my order, delivered it in 35min like promised, HOT and JUICY in a nice beautiful XL Large Pizza box, Small Pizza box, and 8pc of BBQ wings all for little over $30!!! Last time i ordered Dominos (1 large pizza with 3 toppings, 1 small cheese pizza 6inch) plus tax for $40.... and it tasted like bricks and legos!!! all cold and dried up, low quality ingredients... But J's pizza uses all high quality ingredients, sauces, cheese, toppings, and excellent excellent superior beyond the customer service. I was asking alot of questions like the price of the menu, specials, total due, accepted payment methods, and etc... normally employees at large chain restaurants are ANNOYED by customers like me.. but J's pizza took it and answered with kindness and professionalism. The large XL pizza (3 toppings of ham, pineapples, jalapenos= all high A+ grade quality) , one 6 inch pizza for my daughter, and 8 pcs of savory spicy delicious bbq wings... for basically $30... the delivery employee was very very friendly, professional, and i ended up tipping him almost $10 because of the entire experience with this awesome family owned restaurant. I was unfortunately disappointed with my order. Three stars because the guy who picked up the phone was friendly, they allowed me to order half Meat Lover and half Hawaiian Supreme, they delivered promptly and the flavor was good. The potato wedges I ordered were soggy and multiple pieces were not cooked (not raw but crunchy to the bite...not good). Try poking some holes in the to-go container and don't put them in a pile after frying- maybe fry twice for crispier fries (and this would ensure all are cooked all the way through). I was expecting the thick, poofy crust as shown on their ad and in some of the customer's pics but we got thin in most places and just a little thicker in other areas. Maybe someone didn't proof the dough well. Either way, for the price, I expected better than what was delivered to us for dinner. read more

A La Habra local and tried this spot for the first time yesterday (5-20-21) Pizza and wings were D-lish. XL pizza had 14 Slices (but seemed like more) Had a Pepperoni, sausage and pineapple [my fav combo!] pizza and Lemon Pepper wings. The pizza had light sauce and the crust was on the thinner side, which is a win win. You can tell that the ingredients were all good quality. The wings were cooked to perfection and NOT RUBBERY. My order was delivered promptly, hot, and ahead of schedule. Sometimes trying a new place can be nerve-wracking but this spot did not disappoint one bit.
