I want to start by saying that we have been ordering pizza and wings here for 3+ years. Always found the food and customer service good. Last Friday, we ordered two large pizzas for delivery. It was the worst pizza. It was dry and doughy with no ingredients. Large sections of pizza with no or little sauce and no cheese. They skimped on the ingredients. Normally they put sufficient amounts of the ingredients. On one pizza it looked like the onions were added after it came out of the oven because they were raw. My guests didn't liked the pizza and questioned why we order here when there are other family owned options in the area. I don't know what happened on this occasion. I write to inform the manager and hopefully that he is not cutting back on the sauce, cheese, and other ingredients to save money. We were very disappointed since our guests who love a chain pizza place, we bragged about Atomic. But you failed us. Thank you for your attention to our feedback. read more

Needed a quick delivery and decided to give Atomic Pizza a try. Ordered the antipasto salada and a pastrami pizza. We received our order rather quickly and it was well packed and the pizza arrived hot. Can't speak about the ambience stance it was delivery. Can say it's a small cozy shop, I was there a few years ago. About the salad, I liked it but it comes across as a good home prepared salad with items from mid market stuff. It wasn't a craft antipasto so it was not spectacular, but nonetheless I enjoyed it. The pastrami pizza again wasn't over the top gastro-extravagant. But again surprisingly good pie, not greasy, with a solid dough. Reasonably priced - so over all value to cost ratio is good enough for me. read more

I placed my order at 5:10pm and was told online would be delivered by 6:35pm. I called at 6:50 when it hadn't been delivered yet. The guy on the phone said damn, put me on hold. Clearly my food hadn't even been started. He came back and said your food is in the oven it will be out in 20 minutes. I told him to cancel my order instead because they hadn't even started my order and it was already passed the time they said it'd be delivered. They refused to refund me and said any other restaurant would be taking two hours right now. And had I called to place my order instead of placing it online he would have told me it was going to take hours for my order. At now 7 pm.. he goes "well it says delivery at 6:35" as if that means they get to head out for delivery at that time. And I'm like.. it doesn't take hours to make a pizza.. it takes like 20 minutes to make the pizza that's why you told me it would be out in 20 so I don't want it anymore. He says "I don't know what to tell you. We have over 70 orders. Everyone else has been understanding and I can't give you a refund I'd have to speak to my manager." So I asked him to speak to the manager. He refused to pass me to the manager because "he's busy right now he's making pizzas" Overall a bad experience and I will be disputing the charge to my card. I'm submitting this at 7:20 pm and there's no refund or pizza.. which I don't want anymore. UPDATE: 9:43 AM November 1st. Still no refund, no pizza. read more

Finally stopped in at this spot. I was impressed at the flavor of the pizza and the bread. The crust is a nice balance of thin without too much dough. The toppings all tasted fresh and was cooked just right. I would recommend the Cheese bread, it has that salty cheese with just the right amount of oil. We will be coming back! 4 = Very Good pizza. They have higher than normal quality mozzarella and their crust is CRISPY! I asked, "Why is the crust so CRISPY???" They make their dough after you order your pizza!!! Really, a step above pizza! Expect less than a handful of dollars more that you'll be spending than your regular 3 = Good pizza. Oggi's pizza has the highest quality, best mozzarella I've every tasted, but they don't make the dough fresh after you order. So, I'd put Oggi's and Atomic on the same level, 4's Very Good. I'd put Blaze Pizza at 5 = Excellent because of how many toppings and gourmet toppings you can put on your pizza. And, I'd put Gino's East Pizza in Chicago, Illinois as 5+ EXCELLENT+, the best pizza anywhere! Enjoy! read more

Disappointed. This place has been a family favorite and a family tradition to eat on New Year's Eve. I asked them for a box without their logo on it because the half dressed girl. The guy on the phone assured me they have other boxes "a white box with a smaller print of the logo" he says. Yet here's my box. This is supposed to be a family run establishment. Atomic is a great local pizza shop. We are always welcomed with smiles. They even brought a gluten free crust to their menu. The owner even gave us a bag to take our pizza home in since we told him that we come from Buena Park for his pizza. I highly recommend trying it out, you will want to come back. I have passed it many, many times in the years it has been there. But never thought about trying it until my sister ordered it a few months ago. Ummmm... YUM!!! This was the best pizza we'd had in a long time! Everyone in the family loved the pizzas and the little garlic knots, which are perfect sized to just pop in your mouth. Since that first time, we have ordered it a couple more times.... most importantly, we picked up a cheese and sausage pizza on the night the two of us went down to the beach to sit by the firepit (way less hassle than weenies and all that stuff), which also turns out to be the night he proposed!! Pizza and proposal by the fire pit. Perfection. The service is absolutely wonderful, very friendly, polite, helpful, patient, and personable. That makes a big difference too, let alone superb pizza. For a large pizza and an order of garlic knots, expect to spend a bit over $30. They have a great selection of all sorts of yummy foods, bottled drinks, salads, and sandwiches... but we've only had the knots and pie. Friendly staff, clean location, and great customer service. I was craving pizza and wanted to give this little hole in the wall a try. I ordered two large pizzas, mozzarella sticks, jalapeños poppers with cream cheese, and some Buffalo wings. I usually try and get a lot of sides to try them all out so I can recommend the ones I like best. Do you ever just crave fried food? That was me last night. And the sides I received were pretty good for what they were. The poppers were probably my favorite. The cheese was nice and gooey and the crust was crunchy. The pizzas had a great taste, but the only complaint I have is there was too much crust on each slice. I usually like when the crust at the top of the slice is thin (meaning they coated the whole pie with as much toppings and sauce as possible.) Honestly. That's a personal preference, I think the rest of the pizza and toppings were great. The wings were okay, I think they'd taste better as boneless. The sauce was good. But the wings were a bit dry. The mozzarella sticks were also good, but not as gooey as the poppers. Would I go back? Yes! Would I get every again? Maybe not. But I love that this place is literally down the street. read more
