I've seen this place before and had been curious, but I hadn't tried it. I was craving Korean style wings and didn't want to drive all the way to bb.q chicken and the one on harbor was closed. I decided to place a pickup order to bring back home. They are in a strip mall with plenty of parking nearby. They have limited seating area but are welcoming. I arrived on my time to pickup and they were wrapping up my order. I ordered garlic soy wings with snow onions and coleslaw. The packaging was perfect to avoid them from getting soggy. My wings were really crunchy and juicy! The snow part was a bit too overpowering for me but I had a little. The coleslaw was very fresh and a very generous portion. Next time I'm craving Korean style wings I'll definitely consider them!

This chicken spot is the real deal. Had the hot honey and damn it's great!!! Service was awesome!!! Owner has a great sense of humor and great recommendations. Ambiance is awesome, ate outside. Dont forget to eat the pickled Jamaica!!! It's bomb!!! Will definitely be back!!

Food came out within about or 15mins which is pretty fast. The chicken was very juicy and I thought it was a lot of food for what we paid compared to some other KFC places. I was able to share this with my girlfriend and had leftover for 2 more meals. I would come back if I was in the area. Staff was friendly but the seating is very limited.

Food was great we ordered couple different types of chicken and all my family including kids ate well. Loved pickled radish & onions also.

My boyfriend and I came here after a tournament in La Habra and ordered the sweet potato fries, mixed combo chicken with curry snow onion, and hot honey mixed chicken (names might be slightly off). SO good! I think the older gentleman taking our order was the owner and he was super kind. I paid for our meal and we jokingly had a conversation with him about how times have changed and guys don't always have to be the ones to pay for meals now. After we ordered, we went to sit outside and the owner came out and really wanted us to come inside so that he could serve us (they don't serve outdoors). The fries came out first with their ranch and their sweet potato fries are peerrfeeccttt. They were warm, some were crispy and soft on the inside, and some were crunchy. AND THE RANCH. Then the chicken came out. Perfectly fried, crispy, with some parts being just the batter so it was super crunchy. I've never tried the onions before but I've seen them in my beloved mukbang videos (lol) and was looking forward to it. Definitely did not disappoint, the onions went really well with both the chicken and curry sauce. The hot honey chicken was also crispy but coated well either the sauce. It had a great balance of sweet and spicy. Overall, I would definitely come back!! I will be thinking of this place . Sorry for the picture... we went to town before thinking of taking a photo.

Does this look like a whole chicken?

Ordered a whole chicken not sure if they sell it by weight. Maybe two tiny pieces of white meat (not a whole breast) two tiny pieces of dark meat (not whole thigh) third time getting this treatment here

Garlic Soy & Honey Hot Chicken as well as Ddukbokki with a side of green onions. Yummy!

Chicken is good!! We tried the Garlic Soy and the Hot Honey flavors. I have also tried the original. The chicken is crispy and yummy. The ddukbokki was good as well except it needs more ddukbokki and less fish cakes. And my favorite blast of flavor side: the pickled radishes! So good! Food presentation was awesome. We sat outside with our dog and they were so nice and took great care of us out there. I recommend this place.

    hot honey and honey tender

The chicken here is so tender, perfectly seasoned, and not fatty at all. We ordered the Honey and Spicy Honey flavor , my son is absolutely obsessed with the Honey flavor!

I think their wings are better than the whole chicken. So crispy and light and juicy. Spicy gizzards stole the show since its a new find
    Christine K.

Original chicken wings 10 pcs $17.99 - delish Spicy gizzards $13.99 - delish+ Spicy rice cake $12.99 - a little on the sweet side Everything was delish and take out order was quick! They said 15mins but maybe it took 20mins. Not bad for a friday night. Glad I know of a place close by yet not in BP where the mass kfc spots are.

I've gotten takeout here so many times - I've tried many Korean fried chicken places and this one takes the cake. It's always crispy and tender and the garlic soy sauce is perfect with a bit of heat. Get the wing lunch special on weekdays it comes with 5 wings French fries coleslaw and a small bread thing.

Another Korean fried chicken experience for me, it never gets old. CM Chicken is definitely a hidden spot that likely only regulars of the Palm Court shopping center would know about. Dined in on a weekday, no foot traffic and rather quiet around. The restaurant is small but very clean, some space for indoor and outdoor eating. The menu offers similar to other KFC places. There is a "deal" monday-wednesday where you can order their 10 wing plate and get the second half off. We went that route, going with their original and garlic spicy mild. Got a side of the red hot pepper sauce to dip and try too.. Unfortunately you can only pick one flavor for the plate of 10, but asking for the sauce on the side gives an opportunity to try more. Overall I was pleased with chicken. Good quality, excellent taste. Original might seem basic, but so far it's been the best of all the originals I have had.. The man working the counter was super helpful, let us test a couple other sauce flavors to help make up our minds. Food was prepared fresh, no BS heat trays here. Priced with todays inflation in mind. A solid family owned business.

    Snow Onion

Ordered a whole snow onion chicken to-go. Was hyped by others about this place so was excited to try the snow onion. For me though, I did not really like the sauce and onion on top of my chicken and the flavor itself too was not my type. Maybe I should try some of their other flavors next time.

    Curry Chicken
    Ariel D.

The chicken here is so consistently good. Presentation is 10/10, looks exactly like the photos. They're also generous with their complementary radish banchan too, unlike other chicken places. (Looking at you b.b.q.) Garlic soy tikkudak is sweet and smokey. Curry chicken has a light curry powder flavor. Owner is super nice and there's in snow onion for free for us to try. It's a creamy onion dip, very flavorful. The onions also add a nice crunch.

The kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), and gat kimchi are absolutely delicious. I heard that the owner makes everything in-house, and you can really tell how much care and skill go into the food. Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup) - The amount of ingredients they give you is amazing. I've had it both dining in and as takeout, and it's consistently delicious every single time. Pork Cutlet (Donkatsu) - This place is known for its galbitang and seolleongtang, so I wasn't expecting much from the donkatsu... but why is it this good? The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. This time we ordered two bulgogi hot stone bibimbaps to-go, which are about $30 each. I specifically asked him if we can do hot stone to-go and he said yes. Well, when we received our order, the rice was not at all crispy and did not appear to be cooked in the hot stone at all. Also, just fyi Its purple rice and not white. (Which is supposed to be better for you but I don't know for sure) They also did not include any sauces like gochijan to go with it or any side banchans like kimchi. Nothing was included, Just two bowls of bibimbap in the bag! The bulgogi they added on it was very sparse in one bowl. The hot stone bulgogi is definitely not worth the added cost. The meet was grizzly and I literally had to spit out each piece after chewing because it was too tough. My dog benefitte I called them to ask about the sauce and he sounded confused and asked if we could come back for some. So we drove 10 minutes back and also asked about cooking the rice on the stone pot because it didn't appear to be like that. He just said they normally do it and that's how it comes. We got our hot sauce and banchan and left. They seemed overwhelmed there. We've never had any issues with this place before so maybe it's under new mgmt? Don't think we will be back.
