It looks like they are under new management per the sign, so they are still getting their foot down-- as they had several tables that needed cleaning up when we entered. However, it was near the end of the evening, so that may explain they had a dinner rush and were catching up. The customer service here was immaculate. I wish we got our server's name but he anticipated our needs and requests before we expressed them-- from refilling our banchan, tea, to letting us know how we can eat a dish we were having for the first time-- he was seriously reading my mind! I never mentioned that I've never had the braised black cod dish before but it was exactly what I was coming in to order! Shout out to our server! Also, it was sooo good, I am still thinking about it 2 weeks later. The cod just melted in our mouths! There wasn't any fishy tastes. It wasn't too salty or sweet. The texture of the daikon on the bottom was perfect-- not too soft, not hard or fibrous. The banchan was also so good! Kimchi was very fresh and I loved the how savory it tasted while still tasting fresh! The onions, seaweed, and beansprouts really complimented the very savory gochujang sauce in the dish. 5/5 would totally recommend if you are in the area! Very good spicy noodles here! I enjoyed a nice, filling, and refreshing hot spicy noodle soup here after a long day at the Korean Spa. The portion size was also very generous. Soy Sauce Marinated Crab (Ganjang Gejang) If you enjoy raw marinated crab, you should definitely try this. Cold Noodles (Naengmyeon) A perfect dish to balance out the meal. It was refreshing, served ice cold, and the noodles had a great texture. Another thing I really liked was that the restaurant also has a café and dessert section, so we were able to enjoy coffee and dessert without going somewhere else. Many downsides are that it's loud inside , no real thought was given to the customers' comfort in their open concept design. The thirds of the restaurant is hidden next to the two bathrooms and connected to the women's spa next door. The restaurant faces west with intense heat in the afternoon. They have Gender neutral bathroom and women's restroom but no men's bathroom is assigned. Therefore, all women tend to occupy the two bathrooms with kids and men have to wait for the gender neutral bathroom to open. Many times women used the All gender bathroom but left the women's bathroom unused. Also the waitress was somewhat careless. She pushed my phone holding hands to place a lukewarm bean sprout soup that was completely tasteless. The Hot Stone Bibimbop was acceptable but not worth the price. There are two entrances to the restaurant - one for spa guests close to the reception desk and one outside. I've eaten on both sides. The spa side of the restaurant is fairly small and you can bring the cafe drinks and shaved ice back into the common area of the spa. The restaurant side is much bigger and can accommodate larger parties. The food here is really delicious. The portions are large. And the side dishes are really good. They also provide complimentary hot tea. Unfortunately, the service here is slow. They'll look right at you and deliberately ignore you. Over the weekend, I stopped by the restaurant inside the KSpa planning to order some food. While I was eating, I noticed one of the employees bringing out a shaved snow ice dessert that looked so good I had to ask her what it was. She was the sweetest. She took the time to tell me about it, mentioned that she really liked it, and made it sound so good that I had to order one. I ended up getting the strawberry snow ice, and when she brought it to my table, I asked if strawberry was her favorite. She smiled and said her favorite is the Injeolmi, and she also recommended that I try the banana matcha latte on my next visit. I told her I'd definitely have to come back and try both next time! It was my first time trying it and the snow ice was delicious. It had a good amount of sweet and milky flavor. but what really stood out was the genuine, friendly service from the employee. Most restaurants add in way too much shredded beef (this can be a pro for some but not for me) and it ends up being a big blob of tangled beef and veggies but this place only adds in the right amount of veggies and meat ensuring quality eating experience. It also looks very spicy but it wasn't spicy at all when I was eating it. The side dishes were really delicious as well! Service is really good and the price for the amount that I got was good too.
