Mango bingsu
London S.

I loved how clean this restaurant is, especially the restroom. Those were the first things I noticed. I've tried bossam at a handful of places and I have to say this was the most flavorful of the bunch. The seasoning really penetrated into the meat versus the alternatives I've had -- literally just tasting like boiled pork. There was a good assortment of banchan which all tasted fresh but not lacking in flavor. The seafood pancake really didn't lack and was ACTUALLY packed, a huge plus in comparisons to iterations I've had. The bingsu also surprised me. I was expecting just condense milk soaked ice but instead it was actually shaven down condense milk/milk.

I think the owners changed recently because the food is so many better now! Everything on the menu is sooo good and hits close to home. My husband and I ordered a lot of different items to try and the soondubu jigae and the pork cutlet was amazing. We also ended the meal with classic shaved ice. I love that they make their shaved ice the old fashioned way. It brings me back to many memories. We live so close and we will probably be coming at least once a week!

Went here for K Spa and heard food was very good. Pricey but big portion sizes. The seafood pancake was the standout - crisp, lots of seafood and green onion without too much batter. LA Galbi was very flavorful but could be a little more tender. Great stop after a spa day!

One of many authentic home cooked meals available in the Korean Cuisine culture of Southern California is filled with dinner crowd and has routinely seendishes called Banchan and fairly fast service. Many downsides are that it's loud inside , no real thought was given to the customers' comfort in their open concept design. The thirds of the restaurant is hidden next to the two bathrooms and connected to the women's spa next door. The restaurant faces west with intense heat in the afternoon. They have Gender neutral bathroom and women's restroom but no men's bathroom is assigned. Therefore, all women tend to occupy the two bathrooms with kids and men have to wait for the gender neutral bathroom to open. Many times women used the All gender bathroom but left the women's bathroom unused. Also the waitress was somewhat careless. She pushed my phone holding hands to place a lukewarm bean sprout soup that was completely tasteless. The Hot Stone Bibimbop was acceptable but not worth the price. I'm giving them generous three stars for the reasonable food! I don't recommend it.

Amazing!!! Went to KSPA & ate at Damee! I love that damee had their own Kspa area where we could go eat! The food came out so fast! I got the bossam and it was tender & flavorful! My mom had the samgetang & it was good as always. I tried her broth and it was the perfect beefiness & umami. The side dishes were delicious as well! The store is super cute and calming! The workers were so sweet and paid close attention to us!

Had a great lunch here before going to K Spa which is adjacent to the restaurant! They were open a little earlier than 11am and their lunch special deals on Monday to Friday 11am-3pm are very worth it! I got the dolsot bibimbap and it was very flavorful! Good amount of meat on there and the stone pot keeps it warm throughout. The banchan were all great too and I especially enjoyed the potato salad and gamja jorim. If K Spa is a part of your itinerary or not, it's def worth visiting this place for home cooked Korean food!

My husband and I went to K-spa yesterday and wanted to try something good Korean food for dinner. We ordered Spicy braised black cod. They served with lots of delicious banchans including spicy raw crab, jabchae and pickled kimchi. The cod cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was enough portion to share with 2 adults. A great service and fast! We will definitely go back there when we come up to that area!

This restaurant is adjacent to K Spa - a Korean spa. There's a big parking lot outside and there's normally parking available. There are two entrances to the restaurant - one for spa guests close to the reception desk and one outside. I've eaten on both sides. The spa side of the restaurant is fairly small and you can bring the cafe drinks and shaved ice back into the common area of the spa. The restaurant side is much bigger and can accommodate larger parties. The food here is really delicious. The portions are large. And the side dishes are really good. They also provide complimentary hot tea. Unfortunately, the service here is slow. They'll look right at you and deliberately ignore you. I had to be really aggressive to get a refill on my side dishes or even get the bill.

Damee is connected to a Korean spa, and for a spa-affiliated restaurant, it's surprisingly good. They offer very nice lunch specials during the week, making it convenient to enjoy a solid meal before or after spa time. One of the unique things here is that you can go in wearing the spa clothes, eat comfortably, and then head right back to the spa. The service was attentive, and the environment felt clean and spacious--much better than I expected for this kind of setup. The food itself tasted fresh and was well-prepared, which made the experience even better. Overall, Damee is a great option if you're looking for something tasty and convenient while enjoying the spa.

Yummy Bossam in Large $ 49.95 2.02.25

Review 10/365 challenge Came here on Sunday for lunch 2 p.m. 2/02 during our visit at KSpa next door. We went thru the KSpa side where KSpa guest dine in. Was the only guest. Us 4 until more guests of KSpa start to arrive. 1 group at a time. What we ordered ~ Bossam in large $ 49.95 is great to be shared among us 4 girls. The boiled/steam pork is soft and good. The Daikon kimchi it comes has raw oysters in it. ~ La Galbi $ 37.95 was yum. Great marinade. Grill/cooked to Perfection and really tender good. Served in a steaming hot stone. Banchans were all so good along with their kimchi is fresh and good. ~ Bingsoo was yum and refreshing. They serve complimentary refreshing barley tea in hot & cold. Lady associate was very friendly and attentive and we receive our food in a timely manner. Restaurant is Located right next to KSpa and also have an entrance from the spa side. The restaurant side for KSpa guest is simple design with a handful of tables and chairs. Lots of parking available.

The place and the food quality are very delicious, clean, and good, but it's a shame that there are almost no foreign customers because the price of Korean food is expensive. Personally, I rarely go to Korean restaurants... but the food is high quality and it's a clean restaurant, so if you miss Korean food, go there once. If someone buys it for me , I'd be willing to go back.~

Soy sauce marinated crabs

One of the best , delicious and fresh soy marinated crabs in recent years. I strongly recommend to order large orders with two crabs. Little pricy but definitely it is worth the price.

The meal starts off with lighter dishes like porridge, salad, and water kimchi to warm up your stomach. After that, a variety of starters come out including spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, glass noodles, and a beautiful platter of nine delicacies. Everything was thoughtfully presented and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was definitely the assorted premium wagyu cuts, which are grilled to perfection over charcoal. The meat was incredibly tender, rich, and packed with flavor. Pairing it with naengmyun and soybean paste soup made the whole experience even better. What surprised me most was how many courses kept coming out throughout the meal. Even after the wagyu, they brought fried dishes, seasonal items, tricolor pancake, and dessert to finish everything off. Overall, the course felt very complete and satisfying, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. If you're looking for a more elevated Korean BBQ experience in OC, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

Food: I ordered the beef gyugatsu. When you order (on the tablet) it will give you a choice if you want the full set or just the meat only. Of course I had to try the full set. It came with 2 sauces, salad, edamame, radish, rice, and a bowl of miso soup. It was delicious! Meat also came with a little grill for u to cook on and wasabi on the side. My partner ordered the curry pork cutlet. Pork cutlet was a tad bit dry, nothing crazy but the sauces that came with it made it better! It also came with miso soup, salad, radish, edamame, and a bowl of rice. Since my partner ordered the curry cutlet, ofc it came with a bowl of curry and katsu sauce on the side. Both meals were delicious! 8/10 rating for food! Ambiance: cute, clean, nice and small! You order on the tablet. They close around 830pm keep in mind! Overall I will come back to try their other food items on the menu!

I came here earlier in the evening with my boyfriend since we've been craving gyu katsu for so long…read moresince we went to Japan. We came the last hour of closing and there was still a couple of tables eating inside still. We were greeted upon arrival and we didn't need them to tell us how to order as the only thing on the table was the ordering tablet (self-explanatory). We ended up ordering the premium gyu katsu set along with the curry pork cutlet set that comes with rice and sides along with some beer. The drinks and food came out fairly quick and were steaming hot. I like that the curry came on the side so the pork cutlet wouldn't get soggy and you could pour over as much as you want over the cutlets. The veggie sides were a nice touch and complemented the meal well. The gyu katsu didn't taste like Japan to us, but it was still good especially with the wasabi and sweet soy sauce that came with it. If I came back here, I would give the beef tongue a try along with the creamy udon because those also seemed like a favorite for customers. Service here was friendly and we were checked up on multiple times without having to flag someone down.
