The staffers were nice and welcoming. They would come to your table to ask if you need anything or to leave your trash on the table so they could take care of it for you. Pizza Of Choice: 1) 2 pizza slice (cheese or/and pepperoni) and medium drink lunch combo deal ($8.99). I decided on both the cheese and pepperoni slices. I thought the pizza slices were tasty even though the fell off the pizza due to the heavy handed sauce layer. I was also happy that there was free refills. 2) 2 Topping Mini Pizza: I customized the mini pizza to include pineapple and mushroom. Yesssss... pineapple belongs on pizza! It was delightful to eat. The restaurant looks spacious and has a sense of tradition, which made me excited to try it. Today I ordered the Hawaiian Special. The dough itself was decent, but for some reason the overall flavor felt a bit greasy. It might have been the sauce or one of the toppings that gave it that slightly heavy taste. The price is good and the pizza size is generous, so overall it's a good value. However, when I took the first bite, it just didn't give me that "wow" feeling I was expecting. I visited last Saturday and was very uncomfortable witnessing how a Spanish-speaking elderly patron was treated. A female manager (she had brown hair in a ponytail with a visor hat and polo shirt) spoke to him in a loud, condescending manner while he was simply trying to order food. He appeared confused and was doing his best to communicate, yet instead of showing patience or compassion, she repeatedly yelled at him about getting in line. The gentleman remained calm throughout the interaction, which made the situation even more upsetting to watch. Compassion and basic respect--especially toward elderly customers and those facing language barriers--should be a priority in customer service. If we hadn't already paid, we would have left. The experience was very off-putting and left a bad impression. Please do better. read more

Not sure if it's because the manager had to work New Year's Eve but no matter what day it is customer service is always important. My family and I came because I recommended this place as one of the best in Whittier...(slap in my face). We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a meat lovers I believe (without olives) guess what our meat lovers pizza came with..you guessed it OLIVES. My husband kindly asked the manager about no olives on our pizza, her response was "well did you look at the screen when we showed it to you" "you couldn't say anything then"? & continued to stare at my husband like so what do you want me to do...we also orders wings & cheese sticks they were good... Listen, I'm all for taking accountability absolutely but coming from a manager???? This isn't ok. If you're craving pizza don't come on a busy day, holiday, few hours before they because you'll probably get the attitude as well. I came with my family recently, and I enjoyed it very much! We got the margarita pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. Both were tasty, but I think the margarita was my fav! We also got the buffalo wings and chicken salad. Both were really good! This pizza parlor gets packed with regulars and people picking their orders but very popular with the Dodgers fans that come to watch the game with pizza,wings and a pint of beer and see the game. We order a Margherita pizza and a antipasto and also garlic bread. Brickhouse Pizza is a popular pizzeria for grabbing pizza with family and friends that why so popular. They brought the antipasto and garlic bread then the Margherita pizza,I took a slice of the Margherita pizza it tasted very good the sauce they use is marinara sauce on their Margherita pizza,the sauce is very good. They add enough cheese on the pizza to make them pizza very cheesy adding the basil make the pizza very light and delicious. The antipasto Salad was really good mixed salad with iceberg lettuce and spring salad with cheese and salamander and other ingredients that make the salad good. Order takeout pizza often. All toppings are so fresh and good, nothing dried out. Pick-up is quick (usually 20 - 30 minutes. The entire family loves it. We've eaten at the Bright Ave Whittier location as well. Love the ambiance, it's cozy and makes dining enjoyable. The service is fantastic whether dining in or picking up. YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!!!!! The people working in this shop remind me of the frat boys I grew up with in college-- but like in a pizza shop. The energy and connection they have with each other is so fun! There are TVs in every corner of this building (both sides). It is ~tiny!!!!~ so keep that in mind. Good for families, but like a family of 5 haha. Come support this local business! We hadn't ordered Brickhouse in a while because it's a little more pricey than our local Amore's pizza we love both but if it wasn't so pricey we'd definitely order Brickhouse more often. But we were surprised when we ordered yesterday for New Years Eve we expected the long wait one hour which was fine but did not expect the poor taste! It was definitely different than I remember the crust was undercooked with no flavor at all the sauce had a little bit of an after taste!! Although my family and I live nearby we had never eaten here before until recently. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, hot boneless wings, small pasta salad, mozzarella cheese sticks and a Pepsi. The mozzarella cheese sticks and marinara sauce was soooo good! Hands down the best I have ever had. I was however a little disappointed with the pasta salad. Was in town and love this place. Nice little place to hangout with some friends and family and watch the game. Has a nice like outdoor (patio) seating area and is right across from the movies. Honestly best thing I and was the wedges, worst was Calzone. The pizza was ok, ingredients were fresh, but ok. The calzone, was just all wrong, the cheese didn't really go with the Dough they used for it, I've had a lot of calzones in other locations and this is just not great. For something quicker and better quality it's the place to go as far as I can tell. The downside was the staff were a bit rude, but i give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a street event. We got the small pizza and boneless wing special and added a small green salad! We are a family of 3, it's a good portion. The girls are very nice and helpful, it's your typical pizza joint, it's clean my only complaint is that it's hot. They clearly went the extra mile to have everything ready on time, likely starting early to ensure it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! Here I am again. I just noticed that my last review was back in 2021. I must be slipping; we have order from Brick House Pizza every few weeks. The food is simply the best, but I would like to comment on their delivery. I really don't know what delivery service they use, but our meal always arrives within five minutes of the time requested. We tried Uber Eats delivery from a restaurant in Pico Rivera last week, which was a total disaster. Our Visa was charged, but no meals were delivered. Ordered the Italian sausage sub sandwich. The cashier was very nice and I enjoyed our little exchange of greeting and small talk. The sandwich was okay. The flavor was good and it was saucy. What I didn't like was the sausages were in large pieces. Since the sandwich was so hot, I couldn't take a bite through the sausage without burning my mouth because they were steaming hot, and the tomato sauce was so hot too. So, I could only manage biting through the sausage partially and that meant pulling a whole sausage segment out of the sandwich. It was very awkward to eat. Meatball sandwiches aren't a problem bc the meat should be soft enough to chomp through. This Italian sausage was tough and also in a casing. It should be considered to chop the sausage before putting it in the sandwich. Also, the sausage was a bit dry and a part of it was burned. You know, that burned where it makes meat thick and really, really tough? The bread was soft and light. I liked that a lot. The bread soaked up the marinara and I liked those semi-soggy bites. They offer a side with the sandwich and I chose potato salad. The potato salad was very similar to the potato salad they sell in tubs at Ralph's or Vons or Stater Brothers. You know, that yellow looking stuff? I personally never liked that stuff. I was let down they don't make their own; I was looking forward to fresh potato salad.
