I want to clarify that I'm not going to discourage people from visiting this place. I believe in supporting local businesses and contributing to community growth. However, I also won't compromise my moral beliefs or deny the truth about my experiences. My review is not intended to harm any business or spread falsehoods. If something isn't good, it's simply not good, and we should acknowledge that and work on improving those aspects. Let's start with the decor. A painted dog greets you on the left as soon as you enter, and there are dog pictures and dog decorations everywhere, which makes it feel like you're in an SPCA. While I appreciate that it's super dog-friendly, having dogs allowed to sit on bar stools feels a bit excessive to me. Honestly, if that's not unsanitary, I don't know what is. Now, onto the food: it was mediocre. The Brussels sprouts were burnt, the burgers were dry, and the pizza had a cardboard texture. Our server, Kimberly, was nice but seemed lost or disengaged from her duties. On the other hand, the tattooed bartender was fantastic, and the drinks were delicious--though by the time Kimberly brought them to us, they had turned into a watery, ice-like substance I stead of a blended margarita, like we expected it to be 30 minutes ago. I miss Hacienda Real, which was here before. Even though it was a Mexican restaurant, they at least knew how to deliver quality and taste. After visiting this place twice (the first time being Hacienda Real), I can confidently say I'd rather spend more money at Scott Sea Food than return here. I wonder if my dog would enjoy it more than I did. read more

I am so mad I did not take a picture, but just know it's because we were in such a rush to get out of HERE. 12-6-24 First, we were sat and told that they needed the table in an hour, so basically they wanted us to eat and leave. We agreed, we were very hungry. We waited 20 minutes without being acknowledged or without any water served to us. We then asked the bar tender if we could put our order in with her since we hadn't been helped it. She said, "every table is assigned a server, so I'll take your drink orders but your server will take your food order" sure, whatever. After another 5 minutes of wait we finally make eye contact with a waitress and we told her how long we were waiting and she was shocked, apparently a server was not assigned to us. The lovely staff took our order. Then once we finally got our food.. the cheese burger sliders, mamas nachos, and birria taquitos. I took a bite out of the sliders to find the patty to be rare.. and I mean RARE! I then cut another slider in half and it was so much rarer! The bun literally was pink from the blood!! The nachos were cold and the chips were burnt. The Asada were not cut in strips but slabs and thrown on there. I've been here prior to this day, so I know the food CAN be good., but THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD at a restaurant. I wish I would have taken a picture because those pattys were disgusting! I don't blame the servers, I blame the lady who sat us who seemed to be the manager, who did not assign us a server or sat us knowing they did not have the staff to serve guest reasonable service. Dad and I went to dinner there tonight. We opted to sit outside. They had a great deck with a nice view of Sutter Street. They had misters and sunshades. Would definitely sit there again. Dad had the Waygu burger and it was cooked perfectly and served on a nice brioche bun. There was a bacon fig jam on top that was simply amazing. I had the wings; parm garlic and buffalo. Good sized and juicy. We started with the Ahi tacos. Dad thought there was too much dressing on his and I thought they were perfect. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! read more

The family went there on a Saturday. They were able to sit all fourteen of us outside even though we didn't have reservations. The patio was beautiful for a November day. Our waitress was wonderful with our big party. The drinks and food came out super quick. We ordered a Paloma, sangria, beer, tequila shots they were all good but the best drink in my opinion was the nutty professor which tasted a bit like a pina colada. Our party ordered peppered wings, Asian sweet and Parmesan wings they were all really good. I also orders sliders which were also good. A couple of people in our party ordered salads, they said the dressings were good. My mother in law ordered a taco salad that was really big and fresh and delicious. The pizza were also very good. They may seem like they may be flatbread pizza size but it's much bigger. The only thing that was not a hit were the nachos. They needed more cheese, salsa, guacamole, they had plenty of beans and chicken. We will definitely be returning here next year after our annual Apple Hill trip. read more

Service, food, atmosphere, this place has it all. It was a rainy day, cold, and a bit windy, but we sat outside and watched one of the football playoff games. What a great spot; we could hear and see the rain pouring down in front of us yet we were covered and warm. The heaters were perfect. The beers were served in this great looking tall, thin mug, and the food was very flavorful and fantastic. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Riley's is right on the corner. Parking, we got lucky. Music was perfect! Seating only took a few seconds. We were given menus & informed of the specials right away. Ordered a couple of beverages, Grilled Chicken Tacos and these things called Totchos! They are like Nachos but made with Tater Tots!! You have the option to add a variety of meats to your Totchos. I went with grilled chicken and it was PERFECTION! I'm such a fan!!! We can't wait to go back! The entire staff was very personable. Shout out to Zia , Sabrina , and Anna . Loved all those gals! They are located on the second floor. You can easily access the outer stairs directly from the parking lot. Spacious outdoor puppy friendly patio! Didn't notice if the building had an elevator. I was eager to check out the new concept and grabbed lunch on their deck. Pretty decent menu in terms of selection, it was nice to see some of the items carried over from Hacienda's menu. Service has always been great, everyone is very friendly. The BBQ burger was a little bland to be honest. I was expecting more from the sauce. But the main issue I had was the bun/burger patty ratio. Brioche was too thick, which is likely what made it seem bland. Some bites were just mouthfuls of bread. But also the burger patty itself way too little for the bun. Also had wings--while the fry on the chicken was fantastic and super crispy, the seasoning was inconsistent. Couldn't eat a few of the wings since there was actually too much seasoning on them. I'm willing to come back but hoping the food is a little more consistent next time. read more

It is a restaurant that seats 300 guests and mid-week, and in order to give prompt and courteous service, we put our serving staff in very popular areas of the restaurant including the deck and the bar area as we are not as busy as the weekends when all sections are open. While we wish we could seat you wherever you wanted, it would take away service from other tables in the open sections of the restaurant. Our host offered you available tables to dine, but unfortunately you took that as poor customer service. We are glad you found another restaurant, not as big as ours, to serve you. All the best. Thank you for the response Mike, however sitting a family less than 5' away on a deck with about 6 tables that were in use wasn't an inconvenience it truly was lack of customer service. I understand not creating a burden for servers but a few steps away in area that already had guest wasn't asking for much, it's not like we asked for an area that was empty I could literally touch all tables it was a preference of sitting to the left vs the right and being told no in a snarky way is lack of customer service, employees sometimes forget that customers pay the bills and keep businesses operating. We went for ladies night out on sutter street and they accommodated us sooooo well. We were a large group but they took care of us no problem. Doug was extremely helpful in picking drinks. He was a shocking 3 for 3 lol. I wasn't expecting that. The food was amazing. I ordered the Bologna Burger and it was delicious.
