Grilled oysters were good, but I didn't like the Parmesan that was in it, I think?. Yuzu mahi was sooooo good! I ate the entire plate and could have licked it. They actually ran out nothing sauce and used an aioli sauce that paired very well. Mahi fish is like the steak of the fish to me, so it was very filling. Coconut rice has coconut shavings in it and made it ten times better. The Hawaiian bbq was sooooo much better fresh in person. I had it as a take out and it was good, but so much better fresh. Came here just on a random weekday with family. Service was average. Food was so mediocre that I feel disappointed that I even decided to come here and waste my time and money. Kids chicken and rice was so crappy. It was literally chicken thighs boiled in watered down teriyaki & soy sauce. Sorry but my 5-year old eats food that tastes good, not just anything on the table. We ordered the roasted wings, the chicken tacos and the Hawaiian bbq plate with the kalbi beef upgrade. The fire roasted wings were cold, saucy and dis not even have one char mark on them to show that they were fire roasted. And they tasted horrible. The chicken tacos were subpar. The same chicken meat from the kids meal. One of the 2 tacos did not even have cheese and they had gotten so soggy that you couldn't even pick it up. The Hawaiian bbq plate was disappointing. Same boiled chicken from the kids meal, 4 pieces of shrimp and small pieces of beef. The 36 dollar price tag on this was a joke. How can you have 4 plates and all 4 were so shitty? The only good thing was the drinks. So disappointed with the overall below average tasting food. One of the worst foods I ever had. Never going back here again. read more

Had dinner at Native & Nomad with a friend, and it did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The fish tacos and mushroom tacos were both outstanding, the poke bowl was incredibly fresh, and the sweet potato & avocado bowl (not pictured!) was just as delicious. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service was friendly and attentive, and even the mocktails were creative and refreshing. 1/22/26 We really wanted to like this cute restaurant that we bookmarked a few months ago! It's got a great menu full of fusion options. We stopped in at 11:30am on a Thursday thinking we're beating the lunch rush to try to maximize our lunch hour visit. Staff were so friendly which we appreciate. There was only one other table in front of us. It took awhile for our food to come out. We ordered the Hawaiian plate and the chef's ktown bibimbap. Our plates came out at 12:10 giving us only 20 mins to eat and head back to work. :( I was able to try my lunch date's Hawaiian plate had a yummy green sauce and my fave was the broccolini and the prawns. The meat was either salty or too sweet. I think the coconut rice flavor addition was too much for this plate with the various flavor profile combinations. He should have went plain rice IMO! As for my Bibimbap- there was way too much pickled options (house Kim chi and suno mono) in my chef's ktown bibimbap plate that I wasn't able to finish it. I really liked the mushrooms. I did ask for quinoa mixed with rice. An overall 3.5 rating from us for this visit. I had to rush out back to work so left my lunch date to cover the tab. Visited this place with my guest during lunch and so glad I did! While prices are a little on the higher side for the smaller plates they serve, the quality was on point and the flavor was great! The service was excellent and the flavor of the food was excellent. The chicken was so tender and the coconut shrimp made a little different than what I'm used to but overall really good. Once again Yelp, and a local principal, came through with a great little restaurant! Very tropical feel, and the ladies there are super nice! Hawaiian flair food. The homemade spam was excellent, could use a bit more rice to go with it. I had pork belly tacos and they were good. My daughter had the poke' nachos, and they were good, but she wished they were on won ton chips instead of tortilla chips. All in all, we would go back for sure! We were so hungry by the time we got our food that we forgot to take pictures not that they would've been worth it. We miss Almighty Bistro!! I don't feel like the care was in it like it used to be. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation and arrived around 6:15. The staff was able to seat us right away, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing after we were seated. We had to ask for menus, and it took quite a while for someone to take our order. In fact, the bartender ended up taking our order because no server had come by. At about 7:00 they came to take our plates off our table that were staged when we sat. I mentioned we haven't received our chicken appetizer and she said "oh yah sorry it's coming" but still walked off with the appetizer plates to put the chicken on. Our food didn't arrive until about 7:10 p.m., and one of the meals was completely incorrect. On top of that, our food came out at different times instead of being served together. The portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price point. I ordered the Mahi tacos, which had only a small amount of fish and slaw, although each taco did include a generous amount of avocado. My husband's Hawaiian BBQ which he added Kalbi beef was also a very small portion and didn't feel worth the $36 price tag. We were so hungry that we didn't even get to take photos. The hostess was very enthusiastic about clearing our table and was attentive in that regard. Lily, our server, was kind and pleasant, and honestly, I felt sorry for her because she appeared to be the only waitress working. We had to ask for our check at the end of the meal, but Lily did comp our chicken wings because of the service issues, which was appreciated. Overall, the prompt seating was a good start, but the slow service, incorrect order, staggered food delivery, and small portions relative to the prices made for a disappointing dining experience. Hard to believe that this was my first time eating here. Came with a friend for lunch and was so glad we did! The vibe is so beautiful, very hip, lots of beautiful plants and decor while remaining clean and inviting. I knew it was all gluten-free but hadn't realized the Hawaiian spin but I love it. I was tempted to try the Cloud Poke (and I will come back for that!) but once I saw the Chef's Island Salad that someone else had ordered I knew I had to get it too. It was incredible - lots of avocado, carrot, lettuce, perfectly dressed and an enormous portion of the huli-huli chicken, which was so tender and flavorful. I couldn't begin to eat all of it so I took some of it home. The prices aren't cheap but for the quality and the portion I thought they were completely fair. Our server was super friendly and helpful too and she added to the great atmosphere. The place is small so make a reservation but don't let that stop you from checking it out. Came in for an early dinner after a hike and swimming. Dining area was all but empty when we arrived, but features lush house plants and reggae vibes. At a prior visit we had this awesome server who told us the place has grow lights keeping it lush. Gives it a hipster vibe reminiscent of Portland pre-covid. The outdoor patio was more extensive than the two small tables featured out front of the store. It wraps around the side of the restaurant. I think we will sit outside next time. The Loco Moco is always a hit. It comes with a salty, heart brown gravy over a thick burger patty and meaty maitake mushrooms and rice. 10/10. The gravy with the mushrooms and the beef is a great combo. I think I'll try it with coconut rice next time. The POG and Maverick Margaritas also hit, and are upscale pretentious cocktails. The Maverick is some kind of classy clarified Margarita over a very large ice cube with salt rim. The POG is passion orange guava juice with lime and a tajin rim, not too sweet but flavorful. I tried the Miso Mahi Mahi with Coconut Rice today to switch it up. It comes over a bed of carrots and caramelized red onions. It was quite good. My favorite is still the Loco Moco. We tried the coconut prawns and they were not what we anticipated. They are not the traditional friend panko and coconut you'd expect. This is a coconut shrimp cocktail. No breading, just lukewarm limp shrimp with a coconut cream based sauce poured over and some type of slaw. I prefer the traditional serving, but I applaud the creativity. Stick with the signature cocktails and Loco Moco and try the patio. read more

I've had this place on my list of places to try in the area, and I am really glad I did! It was really easy to make a reservation. The ambiance inside is delightful- clean, open, bright, tastefully decorated. We ordered cold brew coffee with coconut cream which was delicious. We also had the Poke Nachos which were phenomenal! I travel to El Dorado Hills frequently for work, and during a recent visit I decided to try Almighty Bistro--and I'm so glad I did. The décor is charming and thoughtfully done, and the service was excellent from the start. On my first visit, I ordered the Mahi Tacos, which were both incredibly flavorful and very satisfying. I returned this evening, and I was genuinely impressed that Chow, my server, remembered me from my visit the month prior--such a thoughtful and personal touch. I came in because I saw the positive Yelp reviews, and Almighty Bistro did not disappoint. As someone with a gluten allergy, I LOVE fact that the entire menu is gluten-free! I ordered the K-Town tacos (Korean bbq inspired asada - grilled beef) were fantastic! It comes with 2 for $15, which is on the pricey side, but each comes with a hearty portion of meat. I added on the cucumber side for $3. I would order this again. 9/10 I also got a cocktail that was Yuzu Gin Margarita (Happy Hour) that was not too sweet and quite strong, $9. 8/10 Would probably opt for something fruitier next time just because of my preference for sweeter cocktails. Excellent service. The waiter left the large glass bottle of water on our table for our convenience, but she was so attentive and would refill our water glasses -- even while the restaurant was full. Really felt welcomed and comfortable here, thank you! 10/10 The space has such a cute and cozy atmosphere with cushioned chairs, wicker lamps, and lots of plants decorating the restaurant. My husband early last week surprised me with lunch. He said he found a new restaurant in El Dorado Town Center. We had the Island Ranch Salad, and the Hawaiian Barbecue. Let me tell you, the food was so good! I thought about this meal all week long, and couldn't wait to go back. My husband and I went back for lunch that following Saturday. I got the Hawaiian Barbecue again, this time my Husband got the poke nachos. Not only was the food amazing again, the portions are a lot, so worth the price. I really liked the vibe of this place. I had the spam over rice. I'm a rice gal and I felt like they gave me only 1/4 cup of rice and huge portion of homemade spam. I liked the spam! But I'd order something else before I order the dish again. Spam was less salty than the canned one and has a spongier airier texture. Stand out was the Mac salad and the sauce at the bottom. Portion between spam and everything else was off but I'm glad I tried it. Took my leftovers home, added a little more rice and furikake and called it a day. The wonderful wait staff indicated that it's the same owner but they're doing a rebranding to focus on seafood. Yay! We need a seafood restaurant but I'm going to miss the island inspired food. Hopefully the interior will remain warm and inviting with lots of plants and soothing colors. We've been coming back fairly regularly after our first experience, and the chef has dialed-in on the flavor balance. For the tacos, we like the Huli-Huli Chicken and Mahi-Mahi. Almighty is my favorite restaurant in el dorado hills. It is such a treat when we go. My favorite items are the Huli huli tacos with a side of coconut rice. The coconut rice is an absolute must! So good. The coconut rice is so good that my moms calls almighty "the coconut rice place" I also love the coconut shrimp, the sauces that come on it are the best.
