Hospital bar Bloody Mary and cesspool Bloody Mary
James B.

Sunday Brunch. They also offer full their menu. Sat on patio with our dog. Started with Hospital Bloody Maryfor partner and the Chili Cesspool Bloody for me. Made with house made bloody mix. Vey tasty. Enjoyes the faxt that the mix was not heavy and did not make you feel full half way through the cocktail. Being in healthcare I found it funny most of the brunch cocktails where medical/hospital themed. Bobby was our server and allowed us to enjouy the bloodys and outside ambience. No rush to order and get moving. I had avocado toast and partner had breakfast sandwich. Impressive take on the toast with pickled onions on rye bread. My only complaint was egg was slight more cooked than I would like. Over all good. Sandwich stuffed with egg, bacon, cheese, guacamole and has brown also on rye bread. The options on the brunch menu were very tempting. Certianly will revisit.

Came here to celebrate my birthday, party of 6 with a reservation. Parking was horrendous, definitely plan to arrive early. After checking in, we were seated immediately. Our waiter was really nice, however I felt like service could use some improvement (and I'm saying this with consideration of how busy it was, esp on a Friday night). I just felt like it took forever for things to come out. We made it in time for happy hour and every appetizer we ordered-- we all enjoyed! I had the surf and turf entree & the steak and shrimp were delicious! However, the scallop was gamey and rubbery, not to my liking. I'd like to come back again, maybe during lunch or something. I think I just chose a bad timeframe to visit, but I did enjoy the experience! I wish they offered a complimentary dessert or something, but it's not a deal breaker.

Rueben sandwich

Headed for the high mountains and low on calories so Yelp recommended this joint. Seated promptly in a booth and orders from The Local draft list. My bride had the tomato bisque and we split the Rueben sandwich... the former was creamy and loaded with toasted tomato flavor, and the latter had a nice toasted bread and briny meat. Lacked the punch of kraut, but the dressing was good... waffle fries were also tasty. Ambiance is moody southwest, service was great, and prices seemed in line with the area.

We haven't been for a while and stopped in last night for dinner. There were no tables so we sat at the bar. We had great service from all the bartenders but especially Torrance. My husband said the Philly Cheesesteak, his go to, was the best he's had. My fitness special, the Paella, was amazing- I find it hard to believe it was only 450 calories with all that flavor! We had a really nice evening.

This restaurant has it ALL - Amazing food, service and ambience. We booked reservations for a Saturday night and they put us in a cozy booth. Tyler was our server and he was awesome! We had Blackened Salmon, Crispy Airline Chicken, Hawaiian Spiced Ahi Tuna and also some crostini to soak up the delicious sauces.

January 7th lunch service the female waitress (long hair and very nice) was great. Attentive but not overbearing. Vs January 15 lunch service we had to wave down someone to take our order after sitting for 5-10 while staff vacuumed and cleared tables. Bartender took our order, other people delivered, one dude brought us water. Had no idea who our "server was" (maybe bartender?). Didn't feel stoked about that experience. Food: I had a chicken avocado Caesar on the 7th. Husband did chicken sando. He said the sando was ok. A little too big on the breast (maybe butterfly it and give just half?). My salad was good. Hard to judge lettuce with dressing. Dressing could have been a little less watery. Sushi roll was good/standard roll. Tried Reuben yesterday (forgot a photo). Meat isn't fatty which I appreciated. Maybe needs a tad more thousand island and sauerkraut? Just a smidge. But it got a thumbs up.

A beautiful place with delicious food in a lovely location. The service was excellent. We had a wonderful waitress -- very friendly, warm, and genuinely pleasant. She was always attentive, smiling, and it was truly enjoyable interacting with her. This was a dinner with my husband, and overall we had a great experience. The only small note: if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, I would recommend asking for a table away from the bar area. We were seated near the bar, and it was quite lively -- loud music and conversations -- while we were hoping for a more intimate setting. Not a downside at all, just something to keep in mind depending on the kind of experience you're looking for.

I visited this place two days in a row on a recent visit to EDH. The first time I sat at the bar where the service was super friendly and attentive. I was trying to watch the baseball game and they had a TV just above the bar to be able to do so. I wasn't starving so I got the cheesesteak sandwich which was super good. The bread was perfectly able to hold all the ingredients in and there was just the right amount of cheese. The next night I met some friends here and got the jambalaya pasta. It was well seasoned and a hit with everyone at the table. Other hits from that group included the blackberry margarita, the lazy river IPA, and the Barking Dog Cooler. Although I'd like to try more places while I'm here there is a high likelihood i'll be visiting again!

Eggs Benedict with Lobster!
Derek W.

Had a great brunch at South Fork this week on Sunday - Eggs Benedict with Lobster and it was delicious! Served slightly differently than other similar dishes in the past: the hollandaise had some dill which gave it a unique flavor and the lobster was breaded. The service was outstanding as the staff checked in with us multiple times, the restaurant was very laid back and nicely decorated for the holidays! Started eating before I took the picture (sorry) but that's how good it was!

Lovely restaurant. We enjoyed the open seating at the bar. It was a lively atmosphere and we greatly appreciated the recommendations given. We highly recommend the cornbread skillet as an appetizer! The food was excellent, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully curated. From the ambiance to the service, everything exceeded expectations.

What a charming place with great food! We were driving home from a weekend trip and stopped here for lunch. It's close to the freeway and nestled in a large strip mall with many other shops and restaurants. The only issue we had were some cold French fries. Sadly, our server never checked on us until our meal was done, so I just didn't each them. She immediately talked to her manager and made things right with a credit on our bill. I left pleased and willing to return the next time we are in the area.

SFG was actually pretty tasty! The hubs and I recently moved to the area, so of course we're trying new things. This spot was actually quite tasty. The Caesar dressing was on the salty side but the steak pasta and brussel sprouts were so good. Ambiance was clean, chill, and relaxed. The service was spot on. We had the best server, who was seasoned, comfy, knew the menu, and had just the right check in-and-out timing. Will I be back? Yep! It's one of our new faves. But please lighten up on the salt on things :)

Delish!

We had a reservation for 14 guests, so the restaurant should have been prepared for our group. We were told they didn't have enough employees working, but that shouldn't have come as a surprise with a reservation in place. We were celebrating two milestones, but unfortunately, the restaurant made sure we regretted going there to celebrate our events. The service was honestly horrible from start to finish. Our waiter barely checked on us, never smiled, and seemed like he didn't want to interact with or serve our table. When he did come by, he would quickly drop things off on the table and walk away, leaving us waiting and having to constantly look for assistance. We spoke with the manager hoping things would improve, but he didn't seem concerned at all. Overall, our group left feeling ignored, unwelcome and more like an inconvenience to the restaurant. All four of us will make sure to spread the word that this restaurant does not welcome large parties or anybody for that matter.

The best part of the night was the service provided by Riley! Riley was amazing and had the best customer service and this establishment is so blessed to have him. Now for the food! Wow what a disappointment! I have never seen someone call a steakhouse a steakhouse where their steak looks like this. The so called steak was about a 1/4 inch thick or maybe even less. Look at the picture compared to the fork. The steak lacked flavor and just overall really disappointed. I've eaten at the at all the local steak houses along with some of the best in the country and when Texas Roadhouse or Logan's, or other chains server a better steak, you need a makeover, a new manager or new purveyor of steaks. The ambiance is older, old school steakhouse that needs updating. The lights kept flickering and the light where we seating was coming off and on. Not sure where all the pictures that are on Yelp came from but this was not my experience. I will not be back again and now I can see why this restaurant is typically not at full capacity like South Fork grille or Millestone located in the same town center. I would not recommend it.

She patiently explained the menu and answered all of our questions. We ordered across the menu: a ribeye, a filet, the salmon, and one of the daily specials, scallops. We also ordered the Brie and bacon jam appetizer and one of our party had a Caesar Salad. There were a couple of substitutions: extra spinach instead of mashed potatoes with the salmon and fingerling potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes with the ribeye. I ordered the Brussels sprouts as well. Everything was delicious and prepared exactly as ordered. The proteins were substantial, well worth the price. We tried two desserts, the crème brûlée and the banana cheesecake. They matched the quality of the entrees. Everyone remarked on how great the sourdough bread that was brought to the table was. As the ladies in our party said, you could make a meal out of the bread along with some cheese and wine. We were seated in one of the side rooms, which didn't seem to hinder the service at all. Our water glasses were promptly refilled. It was a great experience.

FOOD we started with the chilled prawn cocktail. the prawns were fantastic, and the cocktail sauce was divine. we jumped into a cup of lobster bisque; which was something i was looking forward to. unfortunately, the soup tasted like a very bland tomato fish soup. ugh. it lacked flavor and i don't think there was hardly any lobster in it. major bummer! we go the surf and turf (with lobster), the rib eye, and mushrooms and brussels to accompany the steaks. TONS of food, which was nice (especially for the price)! both steaks were ordered medium rare; the filet was cooked as ordered and the rib eye was on the medium/medium well side. however, the major bummer with the rib eye was the menu states well marbled but the steak gas VERY fatty when you're paying $62 for a USDA prime, "well-marbled" (per the menu's description) steak, the last thing i'd expect is to describe the steak as more fatty then marbled. the sides were great; the garlic mashed potatoes with the soy wasabi sauce were incredible! SERVICE our server started out very attentive and progressively we saw him less and less throughout the night; waiting for the check, needing water refills, etc. i get that everyone has busy tables and the F&B industry is having a tough time, but dang. at a place like this, i'd expect top notch service throughout the dining experience! AMBIANCE it's very nice inside. super cool bar when you first walk in. lots of spacious seating so you're not sitting on top of one another and modern decor. after having worked in F&B, i totally understand the industry; some nights people call out, larger parties consume the kitchen, etc. but for the price, nothing really seemed to blow us out of the water :( hopefully it was just a bad night that we went. it has a great reputation for a reason! hoping the next visit is a better experience!

We've driven by dozens of times but had never heard of it. We are so glad we found it on Yelp, because the food is great and the service is amazing. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived, with only one table seated. The hostess asked if we had reservations, and we did not. Apparently we just got lucky and got there right before the whole restaurant filled up. Right after we placed our order, it got busy! I would recommend reservations for next time. Ian was our server and he was really great. He knew the menu well and had good suggestions. We started with the focaccia bread which was warm and soft and came with Balsamic vinegar and olive for dipping. It was delicious. For starters, we ordered the meatballs. They come with a crispy bread and a cheesy cream sauce and marinara. So delicious. The meatballs and a Caesar salad with a glass of wine would make for a lovely next meal, so we plan on coming back soon to have that for lunch. For entrees, I ordered the lamb rib ravioli, which is new on the spring menu and was lightly sweet, savory and delicious. Handmade ravioli stuffed with tender lamb meat, garnished with pea shoot tendrils and mint. Do try. My husband had the pappardelle Ragu. It was amazing. Maybe my favorite of what we ordered. It's a rich beef sauce over wide handmade noodles. It's a very comforting dish, rich, savory and beefy. Great with a red wine. We tried the Key lime cheesecake for desert. It was also worth mentioning. We had a great experience and look forward to becoming regulars here.

He seemed to be the type of server that gave more attention to you if you ordered alcohol, which I why we saw with all the other tables around us. Meatballs for appetizer- 4 count with the most delicious tomato sauce and ricotta layered under it. The meatballs were so tender (pork and beef) the flavor was on point. We wiped the dish clean of the sauce. It is undeniably the best meatballs and sauce I've ever had at any restaurant. I usually don't like meatballs and the marinara sauce anywhere because the meatballs usually lack flavor and the marinara is too tart. The ricotta cheese pair very well with the marinara sauce. Whole branzino over mashed potatoes- spectacular dish. Head and tail on of it doesn't bother you. The dish is so buttery and flaky with the crispy skin. Skin was so flavorful with a hint of lemon juice over it. It was hard to find all the fish meat because it blended in with the mashed potatoes in the dark ambiance. Rigatoni alla Vodka with added Italian sausage- amazing dish. It was probably one sausage total. Ricotta on top was also a nice touch. House made focaccia bread, so soft and fluffy. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

My husband had to send his lemonade back because it was carbonated, but they fixed it right away and it was perfect. The poke nachos was stacked high with crispy wonton chips and diced raw tuna with a spicy aioli sauce throughout. The buffalo chicken wings were sauced just right and still a little crispy. I heard the server tell another patron they can do bbq sauce or naked if you do not want buffalo sauce. The flatbread pizza wasn't as crispy on the bottom as I'd like (probably because of all the toppings) but the edges of the crust were good with a nice chew/crispy ratio. Looking at the pictures other patrons posted of their salads, mine was definitely NOT like theirs! Hardly any dressing and no cheese on mine! I also had ordered the agnolotti. The little raviolis were very strange. Some were only partially cooked, many had edges that were hard and inedible. $34 for this? Husband ordered the pomodoro. The pasta had been boiled to death - it was so mushy it was inedible. We both tossed out our entrees after a few bites. We were extremely disappointed, needless to say. This was my after-surgery treat and it was terrible. Out of curiosity, I perused some of the reviews, and the bad ones scared me. The owner's responses were condescending. Two parties stated in their (separate) reviews that they got food poisoning. He went so far as to claim these poor people DID NOT get food poisoning from his restaurant because food poisoning "takes 12 hours or more to set in". That is QUITE UNTRUE! Now we didn't get food poisoning, but our experience along with the owner's outright false statement is enough for us. We shan't be returning. I am also posting the Cleveland Clinic's AND the CDC's SCIENTIFIC FACTS about the time period within which food poisoning can take effect.
