Pleasantly surprised by this RIGATONIS. This is behind Guns Fishing & other Stuff. Tons of parking .Pretty simple menu- they have fettuccine,Lasagna, tortellini, salads, spaghetti all the Italian staples. Pretty flavorful. Have a two flavor sliced bread bar with butter containers for spreading . The drinks are unlimited but the ice and the root beer was just as tasteful as I'd say a McDonald's beverage machine. No joke. You pay at the counter register then go grab your utensils napkins etc. salt pepper and chili red flakes are already at the tables . The place is never busy and there is plenty of seating . I think the main issue with this place is that the location is pretty hidden. The menu is kid friendly . The spinach tortellini I had was not bad just enough for a filling lazy lunch . Only like 1-2 persons here working here but they were very friendly . The shades are down and make this place look dull , closed and uninviting. However it is open and people still go here. More of a like a family place. Yes I can probably make the entire menu items at home . The meal was like $24 w drink unlimited refills..not expensive but not cheap either. I will definitely try the lasagna or spaghetti next time when I'm craving pasta or Italian . I really hope this place doesn't close up shop. They do have catering and seem to advertise it a lot, I think that is the most popular service for their menu .

Cajun pasta and garlic bread with a side of salad

It's a hard pass for me Listen, if you want pasta, you are better off going to Olive Garden or going to an Italian restaurant in your downtown area. I ordered the Cajun Pasta with shrimp, and it felt like I was eating macaroni cheese. I ordered garlic bread on the side, and it was like plain cheese bread. I am very disappointed with the food. I only finished the side salad and left the rest of the food. $29 for everything, not worth it

Very unhappy, i feel like the food used to be of better quality. I spent about $30.00 for this lasagna and garlic bread. Very mediocre and just flavorless. There was no sauce, it was just dry and greasy.

Our family is a regular patron at this restaurant. They offer great pasta and other entrée dishes. What I appreciate about them is their semi-service style; you order at the front counter, and they bring your food to the table. The restaurant is clean and organized, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Bread is complimentary, and the service is fast and friendly. Their pasta is always served hot straight from the open kitchen. I highly recommend this place!

Large amount of the rib versus leafy greens in my Caesar Salad

I am once again rating Rigatoni's 1 star because of my experience with the Justin, the general manager. I went there yesterday and ordered a started Caesar Salad and he wanted to charge me an additional 10 cent for extra croutons and 10 cent for a bag. I have been a customer at Rigatoni's for years and I have never been charged extra for croutons or a bag. He told me the state requires them to charge for a bag, but this isn't true according to this information: In California, a fast food bag charge is typically 10 cents per bag due to the state's single-use carryout bag ban, which requires stores to charge a minimum of 10 cents for any paper bag provided at checkout; this applies to fast food restaurants as well. Rigatoni's has plastic bags, not paper bags, so they shouldn't be charging customers. Because I had a problem with him over charging me before, I usually go there on weekends when Justin is off. But he was there on Saturday and Malik and Chloe weren't there and they don't overcharge me. I did not purchase the Caesar Salad because i didn't want to be charged for extra croutons and a bag for my salad.

    Fettuccine Alfredo and Rigatoni Bolognese

Rigatoni's used to be one of my family's go to restaurants. I haven't been here in a while but I recently went to try it out again. I got here around 6:30pm and the restaurant was pretty busy, but there was a decent amount of tables open. When we sat down at a table we noticed that there was a lingering oder in the back of the restaurant. I have a feeling this smell came from the bathroom, but it made me wonder if possibly the bathroom had not been cleaned recently. Obviously I moved tables because a bad smell would ruin your whole dining experience. I got the Rigatoni Bolognese ($17) and my brother got the Fettuccine Alfredo ($16). This is relatively higher than I remember it once being, so I was expecting a higher quality or bigger portion. There is an open bread counter where you can get unlimited bread, butter, and oil and balsamic. The food came out relatively quick. It was an okay size but the quality is more what I was skeptical about. In my opinion, the sauce for both both meals were watered down and lacked seasoning. It is almost as if they forgot to put the heavy whipping cream in it to actually turn the liquid into a sauce. If I were you I would save your money and go to a restaurant with a higher quality of pasta.

Catering review. Picked up an order for a party of six.. The restaurant looks like its typical ambiance. Ordered Caesar salad, chicken Caesar salad, meatballs, chicken Alfredo, and garlic bread. Seems like food isn't as good as dining in. Usually rigatoni would be a favorite, but not this time around. The salad was probably the one thing I enjoyed the most. Then the meatballs would be the next popular. But the pan wasn't at least bottom full of meatballs. The Alfredo looked skimped on. Not even a quarter full of the pan. The bread was a bit stale. Seems to be that dining in is a better choice than ordering catered sizes to go.

I was in the mood for pasta and didn't want anything extravagant so this place popped up. I think I had visit one in the past. Walking in, you place your order at the counter and food will be brought to your table. There's a self serving bread and refreshment counter. Wait person was friendly. The chef delivered my spaghetti and meatball. He circled back later to check my food. With spaghetti and meatball, it's a simple dish and it fit the bill. I might return to try their Mac and cheese.

    Cheese Ravioli

You get a full service experience here as opposed to a casual eat. There is a complimentary bread bar that you can help your self to before your meal. The food comes out pretty quick and isn't the most fresh. However, the food does have a strong flavor profile which is a plus.

Cheese ravioli with Alfredo in the forefront. In the background is garlic bread (to the left) and a Kid's spaghetti with Alfredo sauce.

Amelia recommended one pasta dish per person in the party, to share family style (which ended up working well for us, since we also got three appetizers, and finished the meal with a small amount of yummy leftovers for tomorrow) so that's what we did, along with the starters... We got the "big juicy meatballs with tomato and pancetta," which were incredible; the bread was delicious and certainly is not just a side to the amazing (definitely juicy) herbed tender meatballs. I'd definitely get this again, along with the grilled zucchini with worm salt and mint, which was so flavorful and tasty. We also got the smokey romano beans with fire roasted tomato, which was also really good but just keep in mind the emphasis on the smokey flavor! It wasn't my cup of tea but that's for sure a personal thing. For pastas, I'd rank them in this order: 1. our favorite was today's lasagna du jour, which was mushroom! So delicious, with a crispy cheesy crust, soft tender interior, and an almost caramelized tomato sauce accompanying. 2. Reginette with pork sugo (meat sauce) and spicy turnip greens was next, which had wonderful flavor with the tomato-based sauce and pieces of pork but if you like it slightly softer texture it might not be for you (same with the fusilli; the go-to preparation is aldente!). 3. Fusilli alla vodka with tomato, calabrian chili, cream, basil, and added garlic butter shrimps; this one's sauce felt a little underwhelming and more watery than creamy, and I'm just now realizing that although the menu said four garlic butter shrimp (an extra $7), we only got three. I think I'd come back for the lasagna and/or to buy the pasta from their expansive stock, cook it a bit longer, and serve it covered in a decadent creamy sauce.

I came in with a visibly crippled friend, first thing a girl told us is we'd have to stand there and give them our order before we sit. Then a big loud talking man blurted out the same thing to us. Both asked if we had been there before, we said no expecting something other than listing the specials. All of the menu item names, I never heard of this stuff. Why can't they simply say pasta, but nope! Looking at the menu its confusing, nothing is clear as to what things are. He proceeded to scream at me describing foods, but he was talking so fast and saying unfamiliar words I had to take a step back! But he took a step forward as if stalking my space wasn't a borderline of respect. He explained things multiple times as though I couldn't hear. Unbelievable, he made us stand for so long. I'm disabled and my friend clearly needed assistance. I calmly said to him, would be nice as you can see, she needs to sit down. He acted surprised not sure if he didn't care or simply didn't notice. Big pink rolling walker... not notice it. Not care, more likely. Okay. He politely seated us in a 1/2 empty room. After we rushed deciding what to order. It was so weird he absolutely would not let us sit until we ordered. They brought our side of zucchini first. 20 minutes later our pasta came. It was raw, hard and chewy, so called a-la-dente. Inedible for my taste. My friend liked hers but I have a sensitive stomach. No can do. Before i knew it they whisked my plate away. Lady came back said it will be 20 minutes before I get another. Politely asked her bring me back my plate... I mean I never asked her to take it away.... she was very gracious offering bread.... it was hot and steamy delicious. Tastier than the bland pasta that made me need an antacid right away. They eventually brought another plate of pasta with a side of shrimp (4 shrimp) The shrimp was delicious, the zucchini slightly raw but flavorful. The pasta was still hard and now way over salted and inedible. Between the loud clanking in the kitchen, the workers yelling behind the counter, the guests screaming and shouting, the undecipherable blaring music its no wonder the workers look so miserable, they are losing their minds and going deaf! Suggestion, if you see someone come in elderly, disabled or with child. Seat immediately. If someone comes in with a toddler, get them a high chair... yep they didn't get this lady one for her child. All those workers and they're running around looking busy but, what do they do to tone down the noise? They turned the punk rock music up. Please create an atmosphere where food can be digested. Use your eyes, stop and think before you act. Running on automatic overdrive will burn you out. Why do people stand in line for food and shout about how good it is? Either they want to be seen or they don't know what good food & service is. Good Luck to you all, I'm off to drink the pink stuff.

In a world of guessing and reading between lines...she was as direct as they come. Love that! The food was 10/10. Every guest praised the experience, and were so grateful to be in a cozy space with friends old and new. We had 28 guests in the Tuscan room and that's definitely a bit on the tight end of capacity. The cocktails were delicious, and our dedicated server was a delight. Customer service was top notch. I ordered the prawn chittara to go and it was 100/10...I hope they never take it off their menu. Its phenomenal. Can't wait to come back for dinner soon.

The Linguine & Clams is delicious, with just the right amount of sauce, it keeps the clam flavor nice and intense while still giving me plenty of sauce to dip my cannelloni in. Everything was flavorful and well-balanced. Service: Our server was great and friendly. However, the older gentleman who appeared to be the manager didn't smile or greet us, which made the overall welcome feel a little cold. I also got the impression that the staff was more attentive and friendly toward their regular or assigned guests. I wish the overall service felt a little warmer and more welcoming. It would definitely make us feel more comfortable coming back as regulars. Ambiance: The restaurant is well maintained for an older establishment and has a comfortable, classic feel. The food is very good, and we enjoyed our meal. I just wish the overall atmosphere felt a little more welcoming, we'd love to feel like valued guests and become regulars.

Italian classics served in large portions perfect for sharing!…read more Located within its own huge parking lot, Frankie Johnnie & Luigi Too has made a place for those to break bread and call home. Equipped with large dining spaces and tables, your party of whatever size will be able to fit and have a great time. Their menu is loaded with heavy carbs like pizza, calzone, pasta and sandwiches as well as appetizers and salads. Everything is big enough to share especially for smaller parties but even larger parties will get a good helping for each member. We came for a birthday party and were able to get a taste of a few of their dishes. They were all delicious and pretty safe options to order for first timers. Bread with garlic butter - loaves of bread rolls sliced in hand sized portions with a side of their whipped garlic butter. The warmed bread was appetizing and the seemingly fresh garlic butter was perfect temperature for spreading. Fried Calamari - a known staple for an Italian dining experience. Although not spectacular as it lacked crisp but made up for it with its seasoning, the chewy bite sized slices perfectly paired with the two included dipping sauces (marinara and tartar). Meatballs - meaty morsels swimming in a tasty tomato sauce and topped with a small sprinkle of Parmesan cheese - you could add more from the table top shakers but I prefer the fresh stuff. Fried ravioli - these little poppers were tasty and visually reminded me of pizza rolls. They don't look like much on the big plate but the bite sized treats packed some good flavors inside. Pepperoni Pizza - good spread of pepperoni slices and plentiful in the cheese department. The pizza holds up well although slices don't seem to be cut uniformly. The dough has a nice bounce to it giving it a bit of a chew after crunching into the crust. I'd prefer a crispier exterior but it was still enjoyable. Tina's Too Much - this pizza is loaded with all the good stuff and packs quite a serving in each slice. It has a good balance of flavors and textures. Definitely a good choice to satisfy the omnivores of the group. As for drinks, they have beers and fountain drinks. Refills were not as frequent as I would have liked - there was at least one instance where I had to walk up to the fountain machine and ask the staff to top me off with water. However, when we were finished, the staff was generous in giving us boxes to take up the leftovers. Overall, Frankie Johnnie & Luigi Too is a family-friendly but also intimate place to gorge on Italian inspired cuisine. Pizzas are definitely the highlight but their other items do deserve a try. At reasonable prices, fair portions, and a space large enough to fit you and your loved ones, you'll find yourself dining in comfort here as if it was in your home. Food presentation could use an uplift but it's understood that it's not a priority when you come here to get your grub on. Worth a visit if you're in the area and especially if you have a larger group!
