meat was mushy and disguisting; smelled and tasted like dog food; literally inedible; additionally it wasn't even a literal half slab...instead was a bunch of individual ribs. I've ordered from here for years. But my last couple of orders were horrible. I won't be going back.

Store entrance - on Valley Avenue in Yum Yum Cove near the corner of Valley and Santa Rita.

There was mold on the pizza. That's not acceptable. I didn't notice until later. Hope my kid doesn't get sick.

This is not Garlex pizza. I received raw dough that tasted old with a pizza box full of grease. Had to toss the pizza unedible.

Went here for a friend's birthday on a Saturday afternoon. We had a party of 11 with half the party arriving about 20-25 minutes late. Luckily the staff didn't mind as we ordered drinks and appetizers. We also were not rushed and the wait staff was very patient. Pizza is all handmade and has really good fresh ingredients. Definitely coming back for more delicious pizza. Ribeye was cooked well but vegetables could have been cooked and seasoned a little more. Brasato was flavorful and balanced well with the polenta but beware if you have a big appetite, as it may not be enough. Not pictured was a dish with clams my Mother ordered that really upset her stomach... hopefully a one-off case. Drinks were on the small side and were quite pricey but tasted pretty good. As we were there at peak lunch time, the room was full of parties all enjoying a nice summer lunch and noise level was pretty loud but not "shout-at-your-neighbor loud" In short, come for the pizza and to enjoy a great place to catch up with old friends or family but maybe avoid the clams...

I've been a few times with my toddlers and the service was good. We got cups of water for them in plastic cups with lids and a straw without asking. The server asked us if it was alright to provide the kids with a scratch-off activity which I thought was nice. I've been a customer for likely a decade & that says a lot for me. Especially after I ordered dinner a few months postpartum, with my two hour feeding/expressing schedule for multiples. Needless to say I was starving. I drove over about ten minutes after the 35 minute wait time to ensure I can be in and out quickly. I was divested to learn my order was not made. I got a discount for next time which I thought was okay but honestly it was terrible. If you ever have multiple newborns or hungry kids at home you'd get it; I was not up for telling my story so I did not. I wouldn't expect anything different anyway. I was bummed and stayed away a while but they corrected the issue to a degree & I eventually returned. It is pricier but I think it is worth it.

I was there for an hour and a half (not by choice) and was only able to order two drinks. (Almost 40 min apart) what's worse, is everyone who showed up after me were all waited on in an appropriate manner, their servers were attentive and came to check on them frequently. The pizza was decent, the crust was a bit doughy and flimsy. The boneless chicken was mostly bread and over cooked. The outdoor patio is my favorite place because I love to bring my dogs. I have had several wonderful experiences here which is why I come back but today's visit has made me second guess ever coming back.

Unfortunately, this experience was such a letdown and nowhere near what I remember Zachary's being. When we arrived, there was no line, and the hostess seated us right away. The dining room was mostly empty, with maybe four other groups and plenty of open tables. We spent about five minutes looking over the menu before the hostess seated a family of three across from us. They were promptly greeted by their server, given waters, and even had their order taken while we sat there wondering if anyone had noticed us. About 15 minutes later, another family was seated at the table next to us and was immediately helped by a different server. At this point, we had been sitting there with no service while the dining room still had plenty of empty tables. I'm not sure if our server was on break or what was going on, but we waited a full 20 minutes before anyone finally noticed we hadn't been helped. What made it even more frustrating was seeing the manager chatting with the hostesses at the front, with other servers stopping by to socialize, while we were sitting there waiting for someone to acknowledge us. When our server finally realized what had happened, I explained how long we'd been waiting. She agreed that it was unacceptable and got the manager to comp our drinks, which I appreciated. However, by that point, the experience was already soured. Even getting the check took far longer than it should have. Sadly, the food didn't make up for the service. The salad was easily the highlight: fresh and enjoyable. The pizza itself was just okay, and the sauce wasn't what I remembered from my visits to the Berkeley location. It was disappointing, especially given the nostalgia and expectations I had going in. The cleanliness of the dining room was another issue. I watched the hostess clear tables by sweeping crumbs and leftover food onto the floor and leaving them there. With the dining room already mostly empty, this was especially noticeable and not the impression you'd expect from a restaurant like Zachary's. I understand that things can go wrong, and I appreciate that our server acknowledged the situation and tried to make it right with the complimentary drinks. But between the lack of service, the cleanliness issues, and food that didn't live up to expectations, this visit was a major disappointment. I'll be passing on a return visit.

I love trying new pizza places, and when I saw a place near Pleasanton's Main Street called New…read moreYork Pizza, I thought, alright, let's see what they've got. Then I noticed all the awards and "best pizza" claims plastered on the window. After eating a slice, my first question was: Who the hell voted for this? And while we're at it, who the hell is giving this place five-star reviews? If you ate this pizza and genuinely thought, "Yep, five stars," I seriously question everything you know about pizza. Your reviewing privileges need to be temporarily suspended until you go eat some actual good pizza and recalibrate your taste buds. Let's start with the cheese because this is where things immediately went off the rails. I have no idea what cheese they're using, but it sure as hell doesn't taste like good whole-milk mozzarella or quality pizza cheese like Grande. It tasted like the cheapest bag of processed shredded cheese somebody could find. If your business has "pizza" in the name, the cheese should probably be one of the things you get right. Then there's the sauce. Calling it bland would almost be a compliment. No real seasoning, no oregano, no noticeable garlic, barely any salt--just red sauce existing on top of dough. It tasted like somebody opened a giant food-service can, dumped it into a container, and said, "Yep, pizza sauce." The pepperoni? Completely forgettable. Standard cheap-tasting pepperoni that brought absolutely nothing to the party. Honestly, the entire pizza tasted like every ingredient was selected using one rule: find the cheapest possible version and put it on some dough. Then you look back at those awards in the window and start wondering if they came free with the pizza oven. Pleasanton's Main Street has way too many good places to eat for pizza like this to get a pass. I wanted to like it, but this was straight-up terrible. New York deserves an apology. And some of these four or five-star reviewers need their pizza-reviewing licenses revoked.

I think you pay extra for cilantro so I opted not to get it because I have it at home. The service was amazing and helpful. My son has a nut allergy and I asked if they use cashew in their base, the lady said No so we were all good. Pizzas were hot and ready to go they give two round ranch packets , parmesan and red peppers without me even having to ask. They have their own parking two spots which is huge because there is no curbside parking. This is a sole location. They have other things on the menu also. Ice cream deserts and mango lassi. The interior is very nice , clean and attention grabbing . The pizza s are legit and taste traditional true Indian flavors and much lower cost compared to Tandoori pizzas franchise.
