Absolutely love this place. Such a unique and amazing pizza shop in Pleasanton. The owners are the best and they make you feel right at home. The pizzas are fantastic, full of flavor, and definitely separate themselves from the rest of the competition. The inside of the store could keep you entertained for a long time!

I have been wanting to try this place. A very small shop with a couple of table for dine in if you want. I got 3 pizzas to go. The pizzas are cooked to order so I did have to wait a little bit. I tried 2 of the 3 pizzas and both were delicious. Loved the crust. If in the area I would definitely try them again.

It was alright. I was really excited to try this place because of all the hype. I haven't done a yelp review in a long time but wanted to honestly review this place that is in yelp's "top 100 places" to eat. Basically just alright. Tastes like any pizza you could get anywhere. I think Mountain Mike's is better. I was disappointed they couldn't do half white sauce half red sauce but whatever. The pizza itself was soggy. The redeeming quality was the chicken was really good and not chewy or anything. 3.5*s. Just OK. Wouldn't eat it again.

Much To Do About Pizza in Pleasanton is hands-down the BEST pizza I've ever had! Every bite is absolutely delicious - perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and crust that's baked to perfection. What makes it even more special is that the dough is fermented sourdough, which makes it not only taste incredible but also feel amazing on your tummy. You don't get that heavy, bloated feeling you usually do with pizza - it's just the best thing you can eat! On top of that, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure every customer has a great experience. It's rare to find a place that not only makes incredible food but also makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. If you're looking for pizza that truly stands out - this is the place. Honestly, I'd say it's the best pizza in the world. Pleasanton is lucky to have this gem!

Much Ado About Pizza only does takeout from my experience. Establishment itself is clean, small, and has a couple seats. You can either order through their website or on the phone. Be advised the wait time for pizzas can be lengthy during dinner hours, but that shouldn't stop you from getting pizza here, cause boy is it worth the wait. I've had many other pizzas here and they all taste great, however... I think I'm now a rectangle pizza type guy because of this place. P.s. the girlfriend loves their pizza too, she craves it every now and then, so it makes deciding what to eat for dinner easy lol

Called in and the person on the phone was very friendly and let us know the wait time would be about an hour. We appreciated that as we don't mind waiting but it's good to know a time in case we didn't want to wait. We got cheesy bread and pepperoni pizza. The cheesy bread was crunchy but soft and gooey and the hot honey went great with it and on the pizza. The pizza was a bit small and had way too much pepperoni for my boyfriend I love all the pepperoni but was so flavorful. As someone who can't have too much red sauce I didn't mind it being super sauce heavy like every other pizza. Great flavor and texture. We were greeted when we walked in and provided an update on our order. We will deff be back

My favorite little pizza spot in the Tri-valley! (Not a dine-in restaurant, call your order in and take out) I discovered them at a Sips and Slice event that featured wine pairings with some of their specialty pizzas. I was impressed by the quality and loved that they are family owned by very nice people. So since then, I've been spreading the word far and wide to friends and family about them yet somehow dropped the ball on my review. While I patiently wait for the vegan cheese to be brought to the menu, I absolutely love all of the vegetarian options at Much Ado. Kira is a vegetarian so she knows how to make the veggies shine! The Tempest and The Quatrain being my favorites. Don't sleep on the bard bread or the epic dips :)

Much Ado is one of our favorite Shakespeare plays, and this pizzeria may be partnering with our favorite theatre company, so it's time to review. The website is humorous, and the pizza names are cute. We ordered an original Much Ado (cheese pizza) and a Quatrain, hold the onions. They were very friendly, and the pies were ready quickly. The small space is loaded with posters and things that make you want to look around for a while. We brought the pies home, and the box interiors were adorable, see the pictures. The pizzas were good and tasty, but not spectacular. Still, we'll continue to support this small family owned business.

Delicious pizza and cheesy bard bread! Light crust, perfect combination of flavors, well cooked. Great, kind, welcoming service and atmosphere. Fun tabletop games to play while waiting. Can't wait to come back and to share with friends!

Customer service was 10/10; very nice and welcoming. The pizza itself was amazing. The sourdough crust to the sauce and over all toppings I chose was out of this world. I chose to build my own pizza and did a white truffle sauce and got the hot honey as well to drizzle on top and it was one of the best pizzas I've had in awhile.

Do you sell beer or wine?

    Sorry,no we do not.

Have any vegan cheese? If so, what kind do you use? The best is the Miyokos liquid mozzarella in case you Heinrich serve it and have plans to offer it in the future

How big are these pizzas? The look like they're 8" but the price is $23, so I think I am not seeing them correctly. What size are they?…

They are 14 inch rounds and should easily feed 2-3 people. We also have a "Marlowe style" which is approximately 13 x 9 and thicker (like focaccia) but is again designed to feed 2-3 people. I hope this helps.

Do you happen to offer gluten free crust? I have celiac but love pizza. Some pizza places order gf crust from the outside and then put their toppings. Mountain Mikes does this and it's really good. Wondering if you'd be willing to do the same.

As of now they do not.

The food is good, the beer selection as awesome and the atmosphere is super casual and fun. It can get a little noisy at times, but there's plenty of outdoor seating for more quiet. What I like best about it is that it really feels like you're going to a place that treats its employees and its customers like family. I'm not a big reviewer, but I felt compelled to share my last experience with Porky's. After ordering, I stopped by the ladies room before going to get a beer. One of the stalls was out of toilet paper and all I could think about was that Seinfeld episode. Wanting to help someone avoid an embarrassing situation, I went to the counter to let them know. The person I tried to tell was kind of rude and waved me off. It was really weird because every other interaction I've ever had with employees there is best described as hospitality instead of just service. I was going to shrug it off. Everyone has off nights, but it was just so out of character for this place I felt I had to say something. I submitted an online comment via their website and figured that was that. Two days later, I got a phone call from Patsy. She was appreciative that I brought it up, asked for more details and promised a follow up. A few days after that, I got a very nice handwritten card from her letting me know they had worked with the employee, who was sorry and was just having an off day. My own mother doesn't send me handwritten cards anymore. I was never going to write the place off after a single incident, but this kind of care for people means I will always keep this place in rotation when the "what do you want for dinner?" Question comes up.

We started our meal with appetizers--Mama Carmela's Meatballs were three oversized meatballs in tomato sauce, topped with Parmesan and crostini (garlic toast); the Fritto Misto was a plate of lightly breaded Monterey calamari, tiger prawns, zucchini, and artichokes, served with a side of creamy capri sauce for dipping; and the Octopus All'insalata was a salad of lightly dressed arugula, olives, cherry tomatoes, and fennel, topped with tender pieces of octopus tentacle. The appetizers were decent, but the real highlight of this restaurant was their freshly-baked pizzas. The Amalfi was a light, summery combination of yellow San Marzano tomato sauce, fiori di latte, burrata, pesto, and red Sicilian Datterino tomatoes; and the Norcina was an aromatic, umami combination of truffle crema, fiori di latte, Italian sausage, and mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious, and the best part was the authentic Neapolitan pizza crust--thin, light, and chewy all at the same time! Overall, this was a fantastic dining destination with quick, friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere too.
