I've been wanting to try this Indian pizza place since it opened up a few ago. (It used to be a Little Caesars) hence the primarily to go carryout and delivery approach. "PB" stands for PUNJAB a state in Northern India. It is also the beginning 2 letters of vehicle license plates back in India if you're wondering .I indeed DoorDashed for pickup for my visit . As far as Indian desi style pies, Tandoori pizza has the most locations, taste and dominates the Bay Area Indian fast food pizza scene. Tandoori pizza is expensive but the quality is above and beyond. PBX pizza advertises on local grocery stores shopping carts and the checkout customer item separated bars on the moving belts. They are not as well know if your from Pleasanton or the tri valley in general,so that already gives them a small disadvantage from the get go. I love to support small family owned businesses. I want hard working people to succeed .The door dashing process for PBX was pretty simple. Took about 35 min to get my 2 large pizzas one butter chicken and one tandoori shahi paneer. I think you pay extra for cilantro so I opted not to get it because I have it at home. The service was amazing and helpful. My son has a nut allergy and I asked if they use cashew in their base, the lady said No so we were all good. Pizzas were hot and ready to go they give two round ranch packets , parmesan and red peppers without me even having to ask. They have their own parking two spots which is huge because there is no curbside parking. This is a sole location. They have other things on the menu also. Ice cream deserts and mango lassi. The interior is very nice , clean and attention grabbing . The pizza s are legit and taste traditional true Indian flavors and much lower cost compared to Tandoori pizzas franchise. They have been open for a few years so they are definitely doing something right! Give them a try while supporting them you be the judge. read more

Great service. More of takeout place, since there is only one table inside, but there are plenty of tables outside. We got the large chicken garlic pesto pizza which comes with a pesto sauce, artichokes, mushrooms, and onions. Took about 10-15 minutes for our order to be ready, but that just means it came out hot and fresh with extra pesto sauce and ranch on the side! So good! The pizza has more of a thicker crust, but with plenty of toppings, and not overly salty. I was full after just two slices! Notable drinks to mention: they have freshly squeezed orange juice and mango lassi. The mango lassi was bomb! This is now our go-to Indian pizza place. Their grand opening is on the 21st, so be sure to take advantage of their grand opening and check them out if you haven't already! read more

This is an unassuming neighborhood place. After a recent mediocre Pizza experience we wanted to take a go at Pizza again, with a vengence ! And yes , we got it right this time ! Since it was our first time here, we ordered a conventional Pizza and another with Indian twist. Both were made well. The website was user friendly. The lady over phone was customer friendly too. Pizzas were not overly greasy. Unlike some other places the flavors were not over-the-top as well. Pizza was well cooked and the toppings were adequate. I let the left over Pizza sit overnight before writing this review, because my ultimate test for a good pizza is how the left overs taste the next day morning : ) It passed this test as well ! If you ever had pizza at a place called Mr. Gatti's in the south, this is pretty much Mr. Gatti's. It's not bad. But I can't see why I'd go back. The pizza was visually lovely! But the taste just can't keep up with better places in town. The pepperoni was the highlight, which might sound silly. But there are a lot of places with bad pepperoni. This place had the spicy stuff that curled and crisped. It was also pretty loaded. Loved it. The cheese was weird and gooey. It had the texture of daiya dairy free..but it was mozzarella. Whatever brand they are using is completely flavorless. It was a little unpleasant to eat. There was scant sauce on the pizza, but what was there tasted okay. The dough was also oddly without flavor. A good pizza dough will usually be cold risen for a day or so, to develop flavor. This dough had zero yeast flavor, and was mildly sweet. Like they made it that morning and super-charged the yeast with sugar to get it working faster. It looked great. Just didn't taste great. If I was in a local hotel, and needed a quick pie on a business trip..or something to feed a bunch of kids who aren't picky, I'd eat here again. But there are much better pizza options in town. Finally after 10 minutes someone came out. I waited ANOTHER 45 minutes for them to make it. So almost 1 and an half hours of my time wasted when it should've taken 20. Time is money. Ok so PBX PIZZA took over for little Caesars was super bummed out lol but then I gave them a try today. Employees welcomed me with a smile help me pick my pizza and the pizza came out super fast. Super crispy pizza good amount of cheese and sauce love how the pizza toppings stayed on the pizza lol meat lovers pizza lol no Diddy hahaha but it was 5/5 toppings was on point. New Indian Pizza place where the Little Caesar's was. Had the Paneeer Tikka pizza. Sauce was tasty, Paneer was soft and flavorful, crust didn't get soggy and had a light texture. It came with a tasty green Indian chutney, which was perfect with the pizza - especially the end pieces of crust. The crust is made fresh in house and the topping ingredients were fresh also. I've been looking for a new place to get artichoke pizza since Namaste Pizza closed, and this place caught my eye. They have a pretty expansive offering, though we only opted for the fourteen-inch (large) chicken garlic pesto, which was twenty-four dollars before tax, tip, etc. Our food came out pretty quickly, with an accompaniment of ranch, more pesto (though this one seemed more cilantro based than what was on the pizza already), and the regular fixings of grated cheese and chili. The pizza was great: salty enough to be tasty without making you clamor for water, and a crust that was buttery but didn't leave grease stains on the box. It was also huge. I love pizza way more than I should, and I could only fit three slices before I was at the decision point of "Do I want to walk out of this store, or am I okay with someone rolling me out?" I heated up the leftovers two days later, and they were still awesome. Seating inside is very limited. Though there's outdoor seating, with summer fast coming around the corner, I think I'll be taking future orders (and there will be future orders) to go. read more

Just went here with a couple of friends. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and the lady at the counter got it to us super quickly. We devoured the piping hot pizza super quickly in the seating outside. There was plenty of shade, making it feel very comfortable even though it was 90 degrees out. I have to say PBX pizza is wonderful. They first opened up a couple weeks ago or so and I went in and they were so friendly I live right across the street so it's very convenient. I'm very lucky but it is worth taking a drive for they were so concerned of how I want things on the pizza. The french fries were amazing. The pizza was incredible. We had cheese with extra cheese with fresh cut jalapeños Amazing a lot better than Caesars pizza so happy they came here.
