We've been coming to Pizza Bello for over 8 years. Always been impressed with the quality of their ingredients and the food. Our typical order is usually 1 pizza, half a dozen Bello Balls, and a calzone or chicken parm sandwich. It's a bit out of our way since the San Ramon location closed but always worth the extra drive. The staff are attentive when picking up and the place has a TV and plenty of seating . Today though, things were off: pizza was charred on the edges, the bottom was very dark and hard, and the overall crust was very dry and tough. I think things were a bit overdone also on the chicken parm sandwich: the bread and the chicken had charred edges - made the sandwich dried out overall. We're hoping this was a one time occurrence and plan to give them another chance in a week or two. Stay tuned. read more

Not sure what happened but I discovered this place a few weeks back and the pizza slices were very good but when I got it again yesterday 5/12 the taste was completely off. The dough was a bit soggy and the flavor was just not there. My wife felt the same thing. The staff is wonderful and it's nice place. read more

I now understand the mixed reviews. Small touches made the pizza great and lack of small touches made the spaghetti bland Margarita Pizza = fresh basil, real tomatoes, good cheese. The crust wasn't dry or burnt unlike the other reviews. This was very good. Not real Italian but still good. Spaghetti with Marinara = They used real tomatoes to make the sauce. The bad part is the menu said "with herbs and spices". The only spice was salt. There were no herbs or other spices. No basil, no oregano, and no thyme. Those small touches make or break italian cooking. Overall it was bland. I took some basil from my pizza and automatically the pasta was better. read more

Given reviews, we gave them a go for a long overdue pizza in hopes that we weren't disappointed. We currently live in an area where a good pizza is, in our opinion, unavailable. Small place with a decent number of tables, staff are nice, still got the old-fashioned delivery service. Pizzas had the cheese fluffiness of old-school Papa Johns, and the crust reminded me of Costco pizza (which is not a negative!) This is a great spot. Their pizza is consistently delicious, and their gluten-free pizza is truly excellent -- easily some of the best around. Some of my crew wanted pizza and we had some work stuff to go over at the hotel, so I picked randomly this place on Yelp as there's a ton of pizza places in Dublin. I got it to go and it was ready when I arrived and looked good. Yep, always check you to go pizza before you leave the shop, cause you may get someone else's pizza by accident, you never know! Got back to the nearby hotel and plated it to look a little nicer than eating out of a cardboard box. It was sausage, pepperoni, olives and something else I can't remember. It was really good! Love the place, love the food. Great to find a terrific Italian place next to our apartment. They have delicious pizza and Spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti and meatballs were for my husband, his favorite. So I ordered my dream pizza with flavors I love. I got a large Mediterraneo: Grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, red onion, tomato sauce, cheese blend, topped with feta and balsamic glaze. And then I added artichoke hearts. Yummy! This pizza doesn't even need the chicken, it has such strong flavors. While waiting for my To Go order, I got a glass of Wente chardonnay to enjoy on the patio. A friendly greeting and my order was placed. Upon arrival, another warm welcome. A small pizza shop with a few tables inside and out. Gelato and fresh baked desserts are offered as well. I ordered a half Classico half cheese x-large pizza. One word: AMAZING! Excellent cook on the cheese and crust, a nice bite with just enough crisp. Light and buttery. Red sauce was flavorful. Delicious pizzas and pastas!! My family enjoyed our takeout dinner from Pizza Bello. We ordered an XL half Bello Carne and half Tandoori Chicken. The thin crust was crispy but thick enough to hold all the toppings. The pizza was so flavorful with plenty of toppings. The Carne had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, capicola, and red onions with tomato sauce and cheese. My boys loved the mix of meats. I loved the Tandoori Chicken pizza. There was so much flavor with tandoori chicken, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and tomatoes with a light pesto sauce. So good! We also ordered two pastas which came with garlic bread. The Spaghetti and meatballs was good with homemade meatballs and a thick marinara. The Chicken Alfredo was creamy and filled with bite sized tender grilled chicken. We always get their Garlic Chicken pizza and the Mediterraneo. So juicy and flavourful with the crust consistently baked just right! The other pizzas we have tried is the Desi pizza, Chicken Pesto & BBQ Chicken pizza which were all phenomenal! This is definately our go-to pizza place whenever we need to satisfy our pizza cravings. They have Calzones, Subs and Gyros as well. They do have an assortment of desserts like gelatos, cake pops, custom cookies and other pastries which seem a bit on the pricey side. My son loves their Pesto Chicken and also the Bruschetta Pizzas. It's a small restaurant with seating for 15? Parking is easy.

We came late, about an hour before they close. We ordered ahead and our experience was great! This is pretty solid pizza. I think it is better than Amicis and others in the area. The pizza costs more than other places, but it is worth it- the quality is definitely there. They also have calzones, salads, pasta and other items on their menu, so you have other options than pizza. We ordered to go as there is not much seating there. Tried out this pizza place for game night. As a lot of fast food pizza joints are evidently unethical in sourcing their meat, we were on the hunt for a tasty but affordable pizza restaurant replacement that was local. We've found it - this pizza is the best we've had in San Ramon/Dublin so far, and doesn't taste overly greasy or heavy. They load up their pizza with a lot of different toppings and flavor and provide a lot of different customization options. We got the Chipotle Chicken Pizza and the Desi Paneer Pizza. We will pass on the desi paneer pizza next time, but our favorite was the Chipotle Chicken Pizza - it's loaded up with a bunch of toppings and a creamy sauce. We added Pineapple, which they forgot, and we wished that they included because we're fans of pineapple on our pizza and thought it would really complete the pizza. They deliver by themselves and not through DoorDash or Grubhub, which is nice. There's no delivery fee, so if you want pizza at your door there's nothing to hold you back. They say it should arrive an hour after you've placed your order. Overall, will come again and can't wait to try more flavors and different appetizers! read more

I didn't see a place to indicate that when doing the online order but maybe I was just suppose to indicate it in the notes. Pizza was delicious ! Got the small italiano. I was almost done eating my second slice when I realized they had forgotten to put the roasted red peppers on it :( . It was still good but would've been more delicious with the red peppers. The pizza heated up well and still tasted good as leftovers. Been here once before a few years ago with my family and they all really enjoyed it and the service was excellent. My dad actually asked me if they were still in business since many restaurants had closed to covid, so he must've really enjoyed the place to remember it :) Might try a calzone next time read more

Let's talk about small pepperonis! They are so delightful because you get so much more on one slice than the regular sized peps. I find that the crust was light and crunchy. It holds the shape well. I loved every bite of the pizza and very happy we ordered the garlic bread as well! The chicken salad was good. I like that they offer extra dressing. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. This is literally THE best pizza I've had in so long . The crust is not thin , but crunchy . No flop on the crust. The toppings are never overbearing and their ranch is phenomenal . My son wanted to try pizza at this place as last time when we went there, it was already closed. we went there with very low expectations. But boy what are we in for a good surprise. We ordered an extra large half paneer and half picante pizza. while while waiting for the pizza to come, we were chatting with the owner Suana! She mentioned that all the ingredients including the cheese is of best quality. When the pizza arrived, it looked amazing. And the taste was also out of the world. Very pricey when it came down to it. $38 got me a large 3 topping pizza. Yikes. I called in the order, and the great gf went to pick it up while I watched MNF. I liked the crust and sauce. It held up, had a great flavor and bite. But the toppings were average: pepp, mush, and red onion. Frankly, I don't understand it's high rating. In the past I recommended the San Ramon PB. Pleasanton Pizza Bello was disappointing. I picked up 2 sixteen inch pizzas and a small basic salad last Friday. The bill was $79 and change. It was hot and ready quickly but for a $36 salami pizza the salami slices were cut in quarters. Why couldn't you put whole salami pieces on there at this price. We opened the box and we're stunned at the scant amount of toppings. read more
