Absolutely no flavor when it comes to any of their pizzas. Combination, nothing vegetarian, nothing barbecue, nothing the cheese pizza had the most flavor, which is bizarre. So these folks better up their game I think they're just in it to make money and location in Livermore. I'd rather go a mountain Mike's pizza across the street because I'll tell you the truth. This place is garbage. I've been there three times give them multiple chances. They can't do anything right. Service takes a while. I get it, but I'm also go home and eat a cracker with ketchup on it. It's serviceable pizza, good crust. It's such a good location, it's clean, has good parking, good restrooms, outdoor dining, lots of beer on tap, but I want it to be so much better. The lighting is garish and uncomfortable, the bar seating is awkward, the staff isn't particularly attentive (they're fine, just not great). It just makes me sad because there's so much potential for a great neighborhood pizza spot in the area, even in the building interior just barely needs to be warmed up a little. It feels like at an airport where they have the brand and recipes of a pizza place, but could care less about the restaurant experience itself. A new pizza joint in town? We just had to try it. We went for a midweek dinner when we expected less patrons than the weekends. We were right! We were greeted with a friendly welcome at the counter. The menu was on the wall, in printed take-out flyers and a laminated copy was displayed on the counter. Choices of pizza, subs, salads & sides was extensive! Prices were reasonable. They even had a good selection of craft beers on tap. This was very encouraging. We decided on a half Everest, half Poutrygeist Huge 18" pizza & a entree size Basecamp salad with 3 fountain drinks. The default pizza crust is the thin crust. Options are: vegan wheat, vegan gluten free & cauliflower. In the menu, Everest is described as "italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, meatball, tomato sauce mozarella & cheddar" It tasted good considering all the flavors from the listed ingredients but they were all cubed that it was hard to really see them. Shouldn't meatballs be a sphere? The Poutrygeist is described as "Grilled chicken marinated in our tangy buttermilk ranch sauce, Swiss & Fontina, mozarella, Gorgonzola, broccoli, red onions and fresh sage". The chicken swam in an ocean of cheese! We liked it but it was definitely cheese overload. There wasn't enough broccoli, red onion or sage to counter the cheese. Basecamp Salad "Harvest leaf lettuces, fresh herb mix, pickled red onions, shredded carrots, mini tomatoes, and house-made croutons". What we got was mixed greens, shredded carrots, fresh red onions, croutons, & sliced tomatoes. I was really disappointed that they didn't disclaim the substitions. I was really curious about the pickled red onions & missed the mini tomatoes. Entree size is good for 2-3. Balsamic Vinaigrette was not too tangy. Overall the food was okay. It would be a good place to enjoy craft beers & pizza to watch sports with friends. Service? They took our order, dropped the food at our table, and took aways dishes when we requested. We stumbled upon this restaurant the other night as we were leaving out nail salon. Luckily it was dinner time, so we popped in for a pizza and some wings. All the staff are very nice, especially Aman. He was great in recommending pizzas and telling us which ones were popular. They have a huge menu with lots of different pizzas, subs, wings, and salads. As well as lots of options for beer and wine. We ordered the raging rooster pizza, which is essentially a BBQ chicken pizza. When I tell you it was SO good! The crust was nice and soft and the pizza was packed with toppings. We ordered a 12" which was plenty for my husband and I. We also got the buffalo wings and my husband really liked them. Called in ahead to order for pick-up and decided on the "Up the Creek" medium size. I was surprised at the amount of people inside and how busy they were. They have a very small bar area with 3 seats right at the front entrance. Decent indoor dining and outside patio. I counted at least 2 TVs and overall the atmosphere was inviting. I waited 15 min after arriving and was able to pick it up with no problems. In total it took about 35 minutes from the time I placed the phone order. The pizza was not overwhelming for the price tag of $27 and it being a medium 14". The tomato sauce didn't have a lot of flavor. The toppings of bell peppers, basil, spinach, sausage, and goat cheese were average. I found the crust a bit too hard. The plus side was that it was fairly cheesy. I would say this is an average pizza. Overall, I don't think I would come back because for the price I could order at a different Livermore location at the same price for a better tasting and bigger pie. read more

This review is based on having the pizza out of the back of my buddies suv at Homegrown hops in Livermore for a cornhole tourney. He had two pizza's. One was with ghost peppers and the other one was half pepperoni and ham it seemed like. All three were pretty good but the one with ghost peppers was dang good. Even though I really should not eat pizza cause of blood pressure issues I did not have any issues after wards from eating. Great pizza and will try the location in Alamo. read more

Hours are listed both on their website and on google as closing at 10:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, however that is not the case and they close at 9:00, yet their online ordering system is open until 9:00 so perhaps they should consider shutting that off earlier if they want to close at 9:00 on Fridays and Saturdays instead of 10:00 as listed on their website. I was unaware of them closing earlier than stated when I ordered a pizza right before 9:00 on Saturday. Not even 10 minutes later they call me and sound very annoyed asking if I plan on picking my pizza up. I was confused considering I had just put the order in so I asked if it was ready. She responds very rudely and says that it's been ready and that they close at 9 and they're all waiting around for me to pick up my pizza. Again, very confused because I just put the order in, I drive straight over there to pick up my order, luckily I live less than 5 minutes away. I arrive and before I even walk in the door the girl at the front is holding my pizza looking very irritated. I apologize for ordering so late as I was unaware they close at 9:00 on weekends when it's listed as 10:00 online. She responds with "yeah I don't know I'm just trying to go home." I apologize again even though i wasn't the one in the wrong and I leave. Pizza smelled amazing so I open up the box as soon as I get in the car and take a bite before driving home and I bite into cold pizza. I spent $20 on some cold pepperoni pizza. Considering they called me to pick it up within 10 minutes of ordering should have been telling enough that it would be cold as they probably gave me an old/extra pizza. I hate leaving bad reviews but I am big on customer service and I am overall very disappointed in the extremely rude attitude and behavior exhibited by the girl working at the front and I am disappointed that I paid $20 for a cold pizza that I was rushed to pick up. If you want to close your store at 9:00 instead of 10:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, that's totally fine!! But make sure you change that on your website and on google and maybe cut off your online ordering system earlier... idk just a suggestion from someone with common sense. read more

We ordered a pizza online to be delivered and when the driver got there the restaurant was closed and had been since before the order was placed. There was no notice that the business was closed when the order was placed and our credit card was charged. We had to go through the hassle of canceling the order and getting a refund from Instacart. My low rating for extreme pizza is based exclusively on the taste of the Yardsale pizza. The crust had no flavor at all. It was well done and crisp around the outer edges, but soggy toward the middle. It was similar to the crust found on some box stores's frozen pizza. The tomato sauce was flavorless and thin textured. The salami was very salty and the sausage was white looking, salty and not fully cooked through. The toppings of onion, tomato and bell pepper were sparse, very thinly cut, but cooked through. Overall, this was an unsatisfying pizza. I don't think any of the local pizza places have much to worry about from Extreme Pizza. Pizza prices are on par with others. The 18 inch yardsale ( similar to a combo at other places) with tax was $41. The restaurant itself was clean and had a pleasant "vibe". The beer and wine selection was good and outdoor patio was nice also. The only drawback to the place is accessability for the mobility impaired. One either needs to go up the front stairs or else park on the Concannon side of the parking lot to access a ramp that leads to the patio. The ramp is uphill, but it does have a railing. I wished i had taken my walker along because carrying the very large pizza box to the car was difficult. I had to slide it along on the handrail as I walked back to the parking lot. Staff was polite, but inexperienced in using the cash register and credit card device. The line was about 10 people long and slow moving. Also, asking why you didn't want to leave a tip for a pizza you were pucking up was tackey ( happened to customer in front of me, not me). I won't be returning to Extreme pizza. Not worth the difficulty of getting into the restaurant ( mobility impaired) and the taste of the pizza was worse than bake it from frozen pizza. The restaurant itself looks nice and clean. It has Tesla chargers in front if you need that. Plenty of seating side and outside. I was hungry and saw this place restaurant and I stopped to try. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza which I use as the pizza I judge most restaurants by. I really wanted to find a good pizza place but this is a meh pizza. The crust does not have any flavor. The sauce is sweet if you like that. The pepperoni was not flavorful and the mushrooms although fresh did not add to the taste. This is nice place but not a place I would think of to return to. Melos is still my choice for Livermore. It looked like only one person was working there he was friendly. read more

Finallllly this place is open! We've been waiting with extreme anticipation and excitement for this complex to start opening stores and be a more central part of the neighborhood. We called in a pickup order on their opening day around dinner time. Yes it was a bit chaotic (they clearly were not prepared for the amount of people and orders) but what gives me high hopes for this place is: - Half of our pizza was one of the best pizzas I've had in Livermore - Really great beers on tap - Nice outdoor space - Friendly woman taking our order gave us a deal because it was opening day We got a large half yard sale and half mr. pestato head (~$28): The large (14 in) was perfect for 2 people. The Yard Sale comes with sausage, pepperoni, salami, olives, mushrooms, green pepper, onions, and tomatoes with tomato sauce and cheese. It tasted good with super fresh ingredients. However it definitely needed longer in the oven because some of the vegetable ingredients were still a bit raw (I'm looking at you peppers and tomatoes). However I'm putting this down to inexperience and hoping once they work out the kinks that this will be even better. 3/5 Mr Pestato Head comes with pesto sauce, roasted potatoes, caramelized onions, feta, basil, and cheese. OMG. This was amazing. Definitely the best pizza I've had in Livermore. Cannot wait to have this again. 5/5 I think while they're still early days you can expect longer wait times and the junior employees being a bit confused/not sure what to do. Overall I think extreme pizza is very "eh." We order here as a group a lot because it is convenient and the pizza is decent. However, twice now I've had issues with sub orders. We ordered on DoorDash and I tried to get the plain turkey sub with cheese, lettuce, onion and Mayo and it came hot/toasted which was not what I was looking for plus all the veggies were wilted and unhappy. I tried to order the same sub in person and asked the server to make sure it was a COLD sub and it still came out hot. Mind you, the menu has little flame logos next to the hot/toasted subs. Not sure where this is getting lost in translation but generally stick to pizza here and go somewhere else for subs. read more

I make it a habit not to look up reviews for restaurants prior to eating there. I just want to go in with a clear approach. I tried extreme pizza and there definitely is a reason they have almost as many 1 star reviews as 5. We walked in and a young man at the register pretty much ignored us and stared. I placed the order and honestly do not think I got a word back at all. We ordered an indee pizza and two side salads. We waited and waited and waited and there was a lady at one of the tables on her laptop that I am assuming is the owner or manager. When she went up front I asked if we could get our side salads while waiting for the pizza. We got the salad but nothing else like a smile or a word or two. I guess those cost extra. Our pizza eventually came and as others stating the crust was terrible. I have had frozen pizzas better then this. It reminded me of the crust that comes powdered in a box and you add water. It was terrible. The side salad was really good though and that earned a star! When we left, the lady or no one else acknowledged us at all. For the high price of crappy pizza not to mention 8.50 for a pint of beer, this was our first and last time here. Can't order online, not sure what it up with that! I had to hunt for phone number on the web as it was not on their website that I could find! Called and had to wait in a automated answer system for almost 5 min.... Ordered the Yard Sale with modifications. I had to ask the person to review the order at the end to ensure they got it right. They quoted 45 minutes. I showed up after 35 and it was ready! The pizza was yummy. Like others, I'd like to see a more airy crust. It is tough.... It didn't taste bad, but could have been better.
