Plenty of parking including several handicap spaces. Speaking solely for the (all day) breakfast, food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Over easy eggs were wonderfully runny, toast had the perfect amount of butter, the bacon done exactly right, slightly crispy but soft enough to be comfortingly chewy. And a generous amount too. Turkey sausage links were as anticipated, mild in flavor, and the silver dollar pancakes were actually pretty large and quite tasty. Coffee was okay, served in a large mug. If you want milk or cream (which is probably the fake stuff) in your coffee speak up when you order, as we were not asked. Service started out somewhat shaky but improved as time went on. You pay your tab at a register on the way out, and they have envelopes for each server if you want to leave a cash tip. They have a shelf of local jams, jellies, and honey for sale. The dessert list on the chalkboard indicated some delightful sounding pies, but I'm saving my calories at present so had to pass. I see they have two other locations, so hope to try one of the others as well next time we're between Urbana and Eaton.

In any case, I expect to be back because the place is so cool. It is 100% the opposite of every suburban chain sports bar, and a welcome departure for someone who eats out 20 times a month.

Such a feel-good setting, and I felt like I was back in New York for a bit. Hubby loves the country-fried steak with eggs over easy, and the daily breakfast special (it's the same every day) is mammoth: 2 eggs, hash browns or home fries, your choice of meat, 2 slices of toast, and coffee for like six bucks. This is hangover medicine, for sure, but also just a great place to grab a bite while reading the Sunday paper. The atmosphere is as country diner as you get--booths, generally packed at breakfast time, with a counter with stools at front.
