We haven't been here since Studebaker's took over, we'll we were missing out, honestly didn't know they had taken over this restaurant location. Breakfast or brunch it's fantastic. I love the reuben omelette! I think it's perfect for brunch. Richelle got standard breakfast stuff, egg, potatoes, meat all very good.

Great down home food! We had breakfast and everything was good and hot . Small town country vibe. Many options and excellent prices. Our waitress could have been a little better but she was young. Would highly recommend.

Who knew there would be more than one Studabaker's. Mom did! When you recognize a Bill Knapp's restaurant, you've come to the right place. Everything was on point. They are known for their chicken so I had to get a piece for breakfast. If you never had a piece, at least get one to try it. The facade and interior are vastly different than the one in Nee Carlisle, but the hospitality and food remains the same.

My biggest reason I go to Studebakers is my friend Debbie works there. I go there to support the business that my friend works at. I first met Debbie at Golden Corall in Springfield When she moved on to Mr Bons I ate there. When she went to Colliers I followed her there. When Studebaker's took over the old Colliers I went there because they hired Debbie. I live in San Diego now and visiting having a meal where Debbie's is now an old roadtrip tradition. I went to Studebakers for my first dinner in Springfield with my brother David and his family on my brother's suggestion. I had the ham and beans with red potatoes and cornbread. Not bad, nothing extraordinary. I improved it with salt pepper and Tabasco. If I had any sense I would have asked for some onions for both beans and potatoes. I felt the amount of potatoes was quite SMALL compared to the beans. I also got about the smallest serving of blackberry cooler you ever saw in your life thrown on an equally small dish. It tasted good, just not much there to taste. Brandi was our waitress. She was a sweet young girl. Very nice and attentive. Her friendliness and her smile added to the ambiance. Now that's something new. In past reviews I've wrote just writing A-m-b-i-a-n-c-e would turn the word green. We were seated in a room in the back that had tables large enough to accommodate larger groups. It was nicely decorated. It would be a good room for a birthday party or other special occasion.

Very solid diner in the former Bill Knapps location above the mall. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and well lit. Service is friendly and down home. Today I enjoyed the Grandpa's Breakfast platter. All of the food was prepared perfectly and served hot. I look forward to returning to try their other offerings!

After waiting for 10 minutes after being seated, no waitress came to our table. Walked out.

Located inside the Market downtown Springfield, parking wasn't too bad, numerous vendors, and the lively atmosphere makes for a good vibe Upon entering the main hall it's an open food court concept where you seat yourself and choose from all kinds of venues, but I came for the Chicken & Waffles and they did not disappoint! The Chicken was flavorful, crunchy, yet tender on the inside. The Waffles were fluffy and light which quickly absorbed the delicious Bourbon Maple syrup. Great mix that was all washed down with a wheat beer and some Blantons, yes, Blantons (IYKYK)! There is a full bar inside the hall which completed the meal before he headed out to Columbus! Overall, highly recommend for the options, atmosphere, and obviously good food!

Service was always with a smile, although fruit was forgotten on one occasion. While the coffee was never hot enough for me, the food was very tasty. I especially enjoyed the freshly prepared waffles. The bacon was perfectly crisp and the strawberries fresh. Eggs were also perfectly over medium and topped with cheddar cheese. One day I ordered hash browns that were crispy and right out of the fryer. Ironworks is inside the CoHash food court which was lively with middle school students on one visit.
