Definitely a place where looks can be deceiving! Looking at the inside, it has a very homey, locals watering hole vibe, but the food was excellent! Their special sauce is amazing to put or dip with anything. I had the pork sandwich, which was pounded to a very thin slice, and breaded perfectly. The food as usual was very good. We had grouper finger sandwich, quesadilla, The food here may take 30-40 minutes but as they say they are not a fast food restaurant. mushrooms and onion rings. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio. However, there was a 4 top of very obnoxious loud young women that drank buckets of beer the whole time we were there so it was a little hard to communicate with my companion when they were so loud. The service as usual was as well good. I would recommend again and only gave 3 star this time because of the loudness of the table out on the patio. Food good, great dive, only problem is seating. As a big boned American with bad knees high top tables are no go. So are booths. There are a couple regular tables, if you are lucky to get one. But the foods good. Priced good, big portions. read more

Melissa melted my heart. She was a fantastic server. We ordered the sampler, cheese curds, old fashioned, bahama mama, and beer. The sound system is on different speakers and Melissa was able to turn off the one that was by our booth. They have a couple of games you can play...pool, darts, all star gaming machine , and a pay as you go jukebox. read more

Great service and even better food. Stopped for a break from driving all day and will put in our favorites for next time we come through. Clean and nice atmosphere. A little dark but that's what to expect at a tavern. But our booth had more lighting. Definitely suggest over a chain or fast food. read more

Good meal. They have good burgers. You won't be upset at all. It does take a minute to get your food. The prices were good. One thing I will say is they do not give you enough fry's or onion rings at all. In my opinion if you can count them then it's not enough and I got 4. They did taste good. The facilities are nice, it is a very nice bar. Has a pool table and tvs playing sports games. The out side seating is very nice, go out there if you can for sure. Definitely a biker bar vibes. Love this place! Grilled Chicken on a pretzel bun is my favorite sandwich! Taylor's tenders and wings are also a must try! Also their house salad and ranch makes me so happy! What a great find! (Thank you TripAdvisor) We drove from Cleveland, meeting friends coming from Dayton. The 7 of us all had different meals & the food was all fantastic. It had a nice neighborhood feel....I wish we lived close by! Kathleen made us feel like family even though she knew we were just passing through. I bet time spent on the patio would be fun and relaxing. If you live close by or are passing through, you should go! (Our travel app took us thru a corporate area for Speedway. We were en route from the Marion Ohio popcorn festival back home to the Cincinnati area, getting hungry, but bound and determined to avoid chain restaurants right off the highway. Thanks to Yelp we found this great tavern. Don't judge a book by its cover, I'll tell you... From the outside I figured the best we'd do was a decent burger, but they've got a menu that puts Applebee's to shame! All kinds of sandwiches, soups, dinner plates, specials. I had a scrumptious lasagna that came with an enormous fresh salad. My husband had a to-perfection BLT that came with fries, and a bowl of soup. The food was plentiful and delicious. I fought temptation and passed on dessert, but I'm confident they are also homemade and great. The barmaid/server was friendly and helpful, and on the spot with refills. There were about 10 other people at the bar. They were all regulars, which is most definitely a cool and normal thing for a tavern in a small town that is not immediately off the Interstate. Did she give them a lot of her attention? Well of course, they're her regular customers. Does that mean we felt unwelcome or ignored? Not in the least. I just remembered.... They have open WiFi! I want to give this place 5 stars but of late the food has been terrible, and I hate that I give such a bad rating. I love this place and it's atmosphere. But , the last several times we've been there the food has been bad to terrible. Tonight I ordered from their specials, and I ordered the Roast Beef Hot Shot. Usually a restaurant's specials are pretty good. Tonight, we we had the worst Hot Shots we've ever had. Three of us ordered this item. The meat was almost impossible to eat. It was not a Hot Shot. The kitchen has got to get their act together. I'm having trouble getting my wife to agree to go there because of the poor food quality. We were looking for a local, non-chain place for dinner while in the Enon area and came across Taylor's Tavern. Although it has the appearance of a bar, they have much more than the standard bar food fare! The Cobb salad was delicious. The others in my group got the buffalo chicken salad and the pork tenderloin grilled meal - both said they would recommend them. The portions are rather large so come hungry. Ok I have always like coming here in the last couple of months. It is close to home and good food. I always get the grouper fingers and fries. This time I paid extra for the onion rings. I pointed out how sad this basket looked....I think it was the owner that told me that this is 4 oz of grouper. This is the best it is. I am sorry it is not. I spend $25-$50 everytime I come here. This is a solid 4 star place, but the potato skins are 5 stars! We got the philli cheesesteak, the Rueben, French fries, salad. And of course potato skins! French fries are basic and I wished the salad was a little more dressed up ( green peppers, eggs, or French's fried onions maybe) but it is a relaxed tavern joint and they try to keep there prices attractive. Rueben and and philli were both great and as I said before the potato skins are amazing. It would be neat if they did a list of drink specials, maybe a grapefruit martini or a Bloody Mary. They are more of a beer, wine, and basic mixed drink place. Maybe they don't want to attract that sort of crowd, and that is ok! They have some good food to offer and will always be a good place to go for a close meal after work. waitresses are all very friendly and do there best to accommodate you. Service has always been good here. But they stopped doing there 1.99 margarita Monday's at least they still have their potato skins! read more

We like going to the tavern but when you ask for a single order of onion rings why do you have to buy a basket a single order would of been plenty also $6.95 for a basket it would be just right if three people were eating .I had no Idea when ordering what the price was this was my fault for not looking.Plus the wings had feathers on them 50% on the wings.
